Skype number unreliable / not working?

I am using Skype on a Galaxy S3.
Ever since I signed up for a Skype number I have had people emailing me saying that they were unable to contact me on the Skype number that I gave them. This has become more frequent just recently and I have missed some important calls.
When I call my Skype number from a landline it's a bit hit and miss if a connection is made.... sometimes I get "number not recognised" response from the landline. People who have attempted to call me report similar isssue or sometimes that the number is continually busy and does not go to voicemail.
I called skype support yesterday via Live Chat and was talking to the support guy for 1h 20min and achieved nothing.... he blamed it on everything from my phone provider, internet provider, that my email account was overloaded etc etc ... I think the guy must have bored and was having a joke with me..... that or he was a complete and total utter ####### idiot.
I have attached a screen shot showing settings on my Skype account page.
Currently (23 Jan) my Skype number is not working at all... when I attempt to call from landline I
get the message "the numebr that you have dialled has not been recognised"
Anyone else having reliability issues with a Skype number? Unless I get the issue resolved I will be cancelling account as it is worthless to me in it's current working state.
One more question.... I managed it yesterday, but cannot find it tooday, but how **bleep** do you get to the link for Live Chat.... all i do is get directed to send email???

Skype is aware of lingering problems with the website when contacting their customer service agents. If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community (or offered only the Community as a contact method), please try again using a different web browser and - important - choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.
Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in the browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.

My skype number does not work anymore

Hello , My skype number no longer works and i tried to reset privacy as suggested here but it does not help. Can someone pls cheeck. i purchased it 5 months ago and there is still 7 months to go.

We here in the Community do not have the tools to diagnose and resolve what has failed with your Skype Number. However, Skype Customer Service does. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
A few extra notes on contacting Customer Service...
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. When you complete the webform and click Submit, your information is relayed to Skype and you will receive a reply via e-mail.
If you are a Skype Premium or other eligible customer, you will be routed to start an instant message chat session with a Customer Service agent.

How did you buy iWork (no 's', capital 'W')?
If you downloaded the trial version earlier, and have since purchased a serial number, iWork will ask you for the number the first time you launch one of the iWork applications after the trial period ends.
If you bought a retail box, or bought the individual applications through the Mac app store, no serial number is needed, but if any part of the trial version is still installed on your computer, you'll get a request to enter a serial number before proceeding.
In the last case, you must delete all traces of iWork and it's applications (but not the documents that you have created and saved), then reinstall the purchased versions from the DVD or from the app store.
For the simplest and most efficient means of deleting the trial version, go to Yvan Koenig's iDisk, then to:
for_iWork > iWork 09 > uninstall iWork 09.zip
Unzip the file, open with Script Editor and run.

Skype number does not work

I own a skype number. It does not work and I am paying for a service I do not receive with no way of contacting anyone to resolve this. I am also paying for a service to be able to online chat and this is also disabled. I should be credited the time I have lost posing this problem and receiving no response and I want it fixed.

none of these posts you have recommended relate to my problem. I am getting the message, You've cancelled your Unlimited World subscription. You can continue to make calls until it expires on January 19, 2013.

My Skype number is not working. No sounds, No rin...

I really haven't needed it so I have not tried it in months. But, I tried to add this number to my paypal account and found it wasn't working. Then I tried to call it. No sounds at all. No ringing, no busy signal - nothing.
I will not post my number here as you should be able to see my number from my account.
Please fix asap.

Skype number still not working

I am have been subscribing to a Skype number, but when I call it an automated female voice answers the number despite that I have been trying to reset it by switching Skype privacy settings. When I call from Skype to my phone a caller id number that I don't know shows on my phone.

I bought a skype number. The people who call me say that never get complete the call. I have no active call diversion! What to do?

The Skype number is very unreliable. Cancel account and get a refund. Skype tech support will not acknowledge that there is a problem with the service.

My skype numbers do not work at all. I am located in Norway, but have an US, UK, Irish, Swedish and Irish skype number for our business. And Skype premium.
We loose millions on this problem: The clients only get a occupied tone when they call the numbers - AND YES, the privacy settings are set to anyone. I have also set a forwarding after 10 secconds to my Norwegian cell phone.
Skype was ok before, but it has become **bleep** this last year. We can`t continue paying for a solution that makes us loose money.

If you recently purchased this then it is not likely to be a valid sale/purchase. Adobe does not sell older versions of their products and no one but Adobe provides student/teacher licensing. If you purchased this some time years ago and it is only recently that you find you are not able to reactivate it with the original serial number you can try contacting Adobe Support thru chat and see if they will be willing to work with you to resolve this.
