My Skype phone number subscription ??

Help, my skype number is expiring and I can't figure out how to renew it and what the price would be. I have been paying 30.05 USD for years and I don't see the price or how to renew it now. I have never had this problem before. Does anyone know this information?

My Skype Phone number disappeared! How do I conta...

I need to know how to contact customer service to find out what happened to my Skype number. I didn't see any notification for renewal and I know I was making phone calls last week but now I look at my account and don't see the phone number subscription anymore!

I was trying to call to my skype number and now I discovered its disappeared from my profile, without notice, contact or warning.

Not all of Skype's Online Numbers can be used as Caller ID, appearing on the displays of phones you call from Skype. Online Numbers from a few countries (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US) can be used this way, where the others are not permitted to be used in this way. If your Online Number is not from one of the countries I listed above, then the only option would be to use the two-step verification process so that a mobile number (or a landline number that can receive SMS messages) is your Caller ID number when calling from Skype.

SKYPE phone number disconnected

My credit card was lost and subsequently replaced. I forgot to provide Skype with the details of the replacement card. Subsequently my Skype phone number was cancelled. Is it possible to get that same number back and how do I do it. Would appreciate some help thank you J

Bought a skype phone number so I can receive calls thru skype. Just "blinks" that it's an incoming call but no ringtone. where can I go to fix this?

Just out of curiosity, is it only your Skype Number that does not have the classic Skype incoming call ring tone, or all calls? The first place I would check (I am a Windows 7 user) is where I have my audio settings for "ringing" set. I would also check in the Sounds settings under "which events play a sound."

Have you tried this.
First check that your privacy settings are set to ''Allow calls from anyone''.
Then change them to "Allow SkypeIn calls from Only people from my Contacts List".
Save and wait for 5 minutes.
Log out from your Skype account and log back in.
Change settings back to "Allow calls from Anyone".
Save and wait for 5 minutes.
Log out from your Skype account and log back in.

Skype phone number for my business as an expatriate

Hello everyone, I am looking to use skype for my business, more exactly, I am an expatriate and I need to buy/use a skype phone number that has the same format as local numbers have in my homeland. Before I invest in one of those numbers, what I would like to know - for sure - is: 1 - Are skype numbers like any other landline numbers, meaning is there any way a client finds out the number he/she is calling is not a genuine/regular landline number? 2 - If the client is let's say in Canada, my skype number looks like a local French landline (eg: 0141315184) number, and my computer is in Zimbabwe, will the client pay more than if the computer was in France?. 3 - If the client again calls from Canada, dialing my skype number will be as for regular landlines right? eg: +33[removed for privacy] Thank you in advance for support. Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to receive SMS texts to your skype phone number? I have a phone number associated with my skype account and would like to send as well as receive to this number.

This does not work for me.
I am on Skype 5.7.0.1130 for the Mac.

I click on the "Set Number..." dropdown menu and type in my mobile phone number. I keep getting the message that "Error on sending code to mobile phone" etc.
Now -- perhaps this is my issue, I have a brand new Skype mobile phone number for Germany. So new that I just got it two days ago. I was expecting to be able to send and receive text messages on this -- primarily from my bank and places like that which send you secret codes to your SMS when you are trying to log in. Does this work? Can it work? Why is it so hard to actually talk to a Skype Customer Support person??

Skype phone number - auto renew?

Some months ago, I bought a Skype phone number.
I've never used it and don't want it to renew.
I paid for the phone nuimber for a year via paypal. I don't want it to auto-renew. Is their any way to check to see if it's set to auto-renew, or how do I make sure they don't renew it?

you need to CANCEL the Skype Number in your account, otherwise it will automatically renew using the same payment method as before
sign in to your account at www.skype.com, and click on the Skype Number tile
then, on the next screen, click on Settings under your Skype Number
finally click on Cancel Skype Number

trying to get my new skype number to work. my son plugged in a adapter into the back of my motem.we tried calling our skype number from his phone but our old number(which we have not had disconnected yet came thru.what are we doing wrong?do we first have our original phone number disconnected inorder for our skype number to work.please help someone..we don,t want to have to pay another $40.00 phone bill
