My Skype to go Number changed locations costing me...

Hi. I have been using my Skype to go Number in Ottawa/ ONTARIO for years now. However the last few months the number is being charged as a long distance number on my landline phone bill. contacting my Landline provider they informed me that the location of the number i'm dialing is not in ottawa anymore but in Athens Ontario. I was never informed of any location changes to my number, and I was charged 6.65$ first month and 19.25$ the second month. this ended up costing me more than just dialing the long distance number directly. I need to contact skype for a refund for this issue asap, and be provided with a local number that is actually registered as in OTTAWA , ONTARIO.

Go to your account page, under Manage Features select the Skype to Go tab, look on the right hand side for "nearest location" and click Update. Select Canada/Quebec/Montreal (two area codes in the list 438 and 514) choose which code you want.

although I selected Montreal Canada, the SKYPE to GO number that was given to me is local to Toronto. How can it be change to a local Montrea number.

Dear Skype enthusiasts and friends,
I thought somebody could help me on the following:
I have a UK mobile registered with my UK Skype-To-Go, and can call this Skype-To-Go number and it says: "Hello and welcome to Skype. To dial one of your speed dial contacts press 1. To make any other international call press 2", and like that I can make world-wide phone calls for little number. (On top of that, if I register speed dial contacts I also get a UK landline number for these, which is very handy).
I am now in the USA for a few months, and managed to change the location for Skype-To-Go to "nearest location" and have registered my US cell phone. My speed dial contacts have been updated to US numbers (instead of the UK landline numbers). I also get a text message from Skype which includes US numbers for my speed dial contacts in Europe, etc, and this is very handy and it works.
Now, my question is, I cannot find anywhere a US number which I call which then says "Hello and welcome to Skype. To dial one of your speed dial contacts press 1. To dial another international number press 2."
This is very important to me, as I can use option 2 and type in any number I like and it puts me throught. because I cannot find the above number, this means I need to continiously change my speed dial contacts (maximum 8 or 10 are allowed).
Any suggestions or solutions?

How can I change my Skype-to-Go Number?

Wbs element number changing in easy cost planning

I m facing a strange problem in ps.
I create a structure in project bulider.after that when switch to easy cost palnning ,the top wbs number changes to another number which i dont know from where it is coming.
This happens only with top wbs ,rest of the numbers are same as i created.
it is happining in only easy cost planning ,and in rest of the transactions it is fine.
please suggest ur thoughts

what about..using item category E :Internal Activity.
You need to have defined activity types per Person ex T1000 for John W1, T1001 for Mike W2 etc.
Also you need to have defined planned rates in KP26 for each one of the activity types.
This way you can use ECP for each activity type (therefore employee) and use their own rates.

I have paid 3 months for a Skype number. However, I recently opened a new account (to distinguish between personal and business contacts). How can I update my Skype number so that it is assigned to my new account?

Skype's system of changing the term of an existing subscription is different from most: what you need to do is to cancel your current subscription, which will disable automatic renewal. Your current Skype Number will continue to work until the last day of the subscription.
Your current Skype Number will remain on account for 90 days following the current subscription's expiration date, during which timeframe you can sign on to your account dashboard and renew (reactivate) your Skype Number subscription for a different term.
Last time I checked, and the last time I renewed a Skype Number, the 50% renewal discount was available when we had a concurrently running rate plan subscription (e.g. "Unlimited World").

Suddenly can't make calls to my skype to go number...

I have been using my android to call my skype to go numbers for a few months now. On occasions I cannot make calls but after a few trys it goes through. But I have been trying today and there has been no luck. Any solutions? I still have minutes left in my subscription and I have sufficient skype credits in my account. Thanks in advance.

If you are trying to call telephones, you still need to have Skype Credit on your account or pay for a subscription. Calls to telephones from Skype are not free, even if you have a Skype To Go number.
Skype To Go is an alternative for making calls when you are not able to use the Skype program or app to log into your computer. By itself, you do not gain any privileges for calling telephones. That's where the Skype Credit or a subscription come into play, covering those charges.

I can not set up my skype to go number on my accou...

I can not seem to set up my skype to go number on my account.. i had recently .. created another account.. and tried to ad my number from the previous account to the new account.. i says number is already registerdd with another account.. as i deleted the number from the old account.. and tried it again on the new account.. it wont let me complete the steps in setting up my skype to go number to my acount

3) browser version (usually available under Help->About)
4) OS (e.g. Mac, Windows 7 etc)
5) what exact behavior or error message are you seeing (e.g. clicking on the Add but nothing happens, clicking Save but nothing happens, no page loads up, etc)

My skype to go number nightmare

So I am annoyed. I set up a skype to go number so I wouldn't have large phone bills with my cell phone. I set up a skype to go number a month ago for a small fee so I could call for a list of people I like to call regularly in the States. I just received a 1000.00 dollar phone bill! I couldn't beleive it! So I went into my skype account and noticed that these numbers have been routing through Alberta! Now I am not able to update my current city for my skype to go number.I keep trying to change the location to Toronto but it keeps defaulting back to Alberta! So angry with this bill! I feel totatally misled and taking advatage of. Keeps saying there is techinical difficulties! Is there a number where I can call and speak to a customer service agent?

thanks for your response. So I just tried again and the same thing is happening. When I am on the skype to go page, there is an option on the right to 'update location'. This takes me to a column where I am able to scroll down the drop box and choose 647 Toronto, however after I click continue on the bottom right of the screen it takes me to a weird screen with just a list of skype words underlined. It is very strange. When I scroll half way down it reads "oops something went very wrong, we are experiencing some technical difficulty please try again in a few minutes' But this has been for a week now. Any help mystery friend??

My Skype to Go Number is registered as Landline as...

I have unlimied mobile to mobile calling minutes with my carrier.
But whenever my friends dialling the skype to go number to speak to my cell phone, which is going directly to a cell number, their carrier is taking their anytime minutes and they are saying that the number 630-395-7825 is registered as a landline. Please advise if you can change the number 630-395-7825 registered as a cell phone instead of a landline like the localphone.com is doing.
Please inform if this is possible as otherwise I will be paying double charges for using your services

Skype To Go numbers are landline numbers. Some users have "favorite numbers" that they can register with their operator (plans that let users register "family" or "favorite" numbers). If so, they will be able to call these STG numbers for free.

I have a skype to go number that I use to take business calls when at the computer or to divert when I am out of the office. I have now moved into an office with a landline. Is there any chance that I can get skype to release my number so that I can use it with a BT line so that I do not have to change all of my promo material?

Get additional local skype to go number

Hi,
I'm one of the users with an old account and one central skype-to-go number with voice menue (a much better system, but that's not the issue now). I used to be able to get an additional local number to use on holidays for example. Just last December I set up an additional number for New Zealand for example. Now I can't find this function anymore. Is it still possible?

Go to your Skype To Go tab in My Account and there change your nearest location to the place were you need another local Skype To Go number.
Then, when you are back the main Skype To Go tab, in the bottom right you will see a link "View old number". That's where you can then find the central number for the new location.
