My Skype won't load new messages

Whenever I open Skype, my group conversations take a very long time to load new messages or they do not load new messages at all. This is particularly annoying when I am trying to communicate with people at work or family members. I am using the latest Skype update and would really like a solution to my problem.

It is ridiculous. Takes 10 to 15 tries to get it to load. The chat msgs is a big issue.

So my skype kinda broke. I was opening skype and it is on like usual but one time I opened it, and check my notifications and stuff so I go to the chat which has the new messages and I click that and scroll down and read it all but when I go to the other chat the notifications number next to the chat didn't go away and my friend sent me a message about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't got it. I'd like to be able to save the actual "mailbox/folders" as they are organized by project, but noticed the archive function doesn't let you put in folders. I included a screen shot of how my innox is set up in case that helps. Thank you for help, let me know if there's anything else I should include.

Won't load new app

I am a Revel member and have all my pictures and club logo, colors and so on, tomorrow we today NOW 1 hour ago I was supposed to send those logo and rest of club colors to people on the advertising to work and be finished so we have the posters ready tomorrow but not?? What is happening. Why can't I get into my app so I can send it?? It won't load new adobe revel app. Is this a joke or something that is for children den please inform us.

Thank you for the answer, yeas I know that but I was out on the field working whit our Coaches and didn't have a computer or wifi on the Soccer field. But thank you for your concern and quick answer.

There is an issue with upgrading to Revel 2.3.2 on iOS. We are aware of this issue and are working with Apple to resolve it as quickly as possible. My iPhone 4S won't load email messages from my local carrier. It works sometimes and then won't. The local carrier says it is not them and to contact apple. Been happening since got Kindle Fire. Could this be doing it?

My iphone 4S won't load email messages from my local carrier on a regular basis. It says cannot get mail in use on another device. I thought everything was to sync together? Local carrier tells me it is Apple not them. It's been happening since I got my Kindle Fire about a month ago. Any ideas how to make everything work together????? Does it when kindle is off to sometimes. Thanks.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I would recommend troubleshooting the iPhone by following the instructions in this article:

Resolution
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

My Skype won't load.

My skype just won't load, I click on it and it comes up and just says Skype and a picture of Clouds and Rainbows and what-not. On my task bar it shows the skype icon with a Offline mark next to it. I'm using windows and my Internet speed is fine.

Try this:
Go to Windows Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right click on Command Prompt, select 'Run as administrator'.
In the Command Prompt type: cd c:\windows\syswow64 and press Enter.
Next type this and then press Enter:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Next type this and then press Enter:

Session won't load - ERROR MESSAGE- Please help decipher

For no apparent reason, when I opened my session I got an Adobe ERROR MESSAGE. Then the session won't load and Audition crashes.
Here is the message:
(A big Red X appears in the dialog window)
Audition has encountered an error.

Can anyone think of a way I can fix this situation and recover my session? Do you think a reinstall of Audition might help? Other sessions open fine. This session was particularly important because I had been working on it for weeks and this was the final finished version. It had been like pulling teeth to get this one done, then when I finally did get it done...this happened. So yuck!! Fortunately I had done a mixdown before the crash, small blessing. But I need the session, of course.

It'a a FILE, for heavens' sake. And to any computer, all files are essentially the same thing - a string of bytes. What makes a file vulnerable or less vulnerable is how it's handled by whatever program is using it, or to a lesser extent the storage mechanism. And when it comes to .xml files and Adobe, they don't have a particularly good track record with some of them - notably the ones they use for system settings and presets.
But I have to say that since Adobe thoughtfully gave us the option to save session data as .xml files, I haven't bothered to save them as anything else - simply because as Suite Spot says, you stand some sort of microscopic chance of being able to rescue the data when all else fails. I am fortunate - most of the stuff I do in MV doesn't use a load of tracks and absolutely no effects (live acoustic music editing), but even though the files aren't that complex, I still back them up regularly during processing because, as they regularly get rewritten and updated, they most certainly are vulnerable.

Safari won't load new web sites after one or two are viewed

I open Safari, view my homepage, go to another website, then when I try to go to another site after that, Safari won't load it. The curser is still a black arrow, the new address in the address bar has the blue loading stripe on it that only fills the address 1/4 of the way and no further. I have to quit Safari and then reopen it to go to another site. Also, it won't quit. I click quit and get the spinning ball for a long time so I have to Force Quit.
Today I updated Safari to 3.2.3 I was running 3.2.1. I am on Mac OS 10.4.11. I thought maybe the update would fix this problem. But it didn't.
Any help for this pretty computer illiterate user would be most appreciated!!

Classic won't load, error message

The classic on my eMac won't load and I am getting an error message that says the "Epson launcher failed and could not be opened because the Epson message could not be found." I tried reinstalling classic from the original disks and also reinstalled my Epson printer software but neither made any difference. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!

have you tried going into the classic preferences in system preferences and trying to launch classic without the extensions?? also, have you tried launching classic without the printer software there at all? have you tried removing any epson items in /library/startupitems folder or in system preferences > accounts > startupitems?? Skype won't load/install

Hi, I have been trying to weeks to get Skype to install on my LT. I have tried everything imginable but nothing seems to work. Before when it was working I had issues of Skype even running. When I would have my LT off for DAYS AT A TIME when I wojuld start up my LT Skype would not load or even run.
When I cleck on the install file the loader either does nothing or tried to install but just runs and runs and nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Runs as Admin etc etc. I have ran it through the Program Combatabilty Program and it just runs and runs

Neither of these version work. I believe there is a SERIOUS compatabilty issue between Skype and windows 8.1. I need this fixed ASAP as I use skype for serveal business

Try first these steps.
Uninstall virtual CyberLink Webcam software (YouCam).
Update driver for the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphic adapter:

Install Skype 6.21.0.104 version using this installer:

Make note of any error message received when installing Skype

Mail Version 5.3 (1283) won't fetch new messages

It appears that my Mail 5.3 won't automatically fetch new messages from my companies Exchange server. After I take the account offline and immediatley online, new messages appear that I have missed. (They did in fact appear on my iPhone, but not in Mail)
Is this is common issue? Or am I doing something wrong?

Ya...got the same problem. - Not only that but messages sent through Yahoo are not decoded properly in 64bit, UTF-8...I just get hundreds of line of code and jpeg images are not shown - what is going on?

Mail won't show new message windows

This is weird.
I needed to email a photo to a friend. I drug the photo from iPhoto to the Mail icon in the dock and nothing happened (a new message window didn't pop up with the photo attached) I tried this 3 times and still got nothing. I swiped to another desktop (in Lion) and i could see the new message windows, all three of them, with the picture. When I landed on a space they disappeaered again. When I swipe to a new space they appear and then disappear when I land on that space.
I've shut mail down but haven't done a full restart. Any other ideas why this didn't work and then now how do I fix my problem?

I've never seen anything like this reported before. Verify/repair your disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
1. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
2. From the File menu, choose either Open Console Log, or Open System Log, or both, so that the Console application displays the contents of both system.log and console.log.
3. Try to reproduce the problem, and look at the bottom of the Console windows for messages that could have been written there as a result. Do you see anything that could provide a clue as to what's going on?
Now, try this:
1. Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accounts, and create a new user account for testing purposes.
2. Either log out of your main user account or just quit Mail so that it does not interfere with the other user account.
3. Log in as the newly created user and set up Mail anew there. Does the problem happen there as well?

Even after selecting Manually to view emaill still loading new messages all

Even after i choose to only receive mail manually when i select the mail icon it seems that the phone is still receiving mail even after i selected it not to. I proved it myself when i signed up to receive mail from ebay from my personal pc. it also received on my iphone even though i never opened the mail icon

I've noticed the same thing - even though I've set all my email accounts to 'manual,' when I check the phone after awhile away I find new messages have been dowloaded. Are other people having this problem? Any solutions? It's minor (I don't receive that much email) but annoying.

Can't send email; Safari won't load new pages

Mountain Lion has broken mail (smtp) and Safari is so bad, I've had to install Chrome. Is anyone else getting the same kind of bad experience with 10.8? I have spoken to my ISP and my settings are ok according to them (O2), but I can't send emails from the Mail app. As for Safari, even half of Apple's own pages won't load. I'll be reverting to Lion from a cloned disc if I can't get this fixed.

Exactly the same is happening to me and I'm with O2,all the settings are correct as well.I spoke to one of the tech people at o2 and they said they'd received about 30 calls about the same thing,thank God I've got Gmail and the iPhone works perfectly.This is rather serious,please Apple do something about it urgently
