My sleep button isn't working correctly, what do I do?

I have a 6th generation ipod. If I press the sleep button to turn of the screen and save battery, the music stops as well. I tried to reset the settings and it worked for a while, but just went back to not playing. the only way I can listen to music is if I leave the screen on (really annoying for sleeping). Any suggestions?

Make sure your headphones are plugged ALL the way in, meaning you cannot see any of the silver still showing from the headphone's plug. You should hear a clicking sound when inserting the headphones indicating the headphones have been fully inserted.

I had the same issue. Basically you need to get the phone to reboot. I suspect waiting for the battery to run out would do this, but I didn't want to wait for it. iTunes would recognize my phone when I plugged it into my PC, though the phone was still locked up during update (black screen with apple symbol and progress bar at around 1/3). I didn't want to go through the hassle of a full restore so I found a small Windows program called reiboot that was able to place my phone into recovery mode. Then it let me take it out of recovery mode, which caused the phone to reboot (i think other programs like tiny umbrella may do the same thing). After a reboot, it showed the update screen for a minute, then started up running 7.1.2 fine.

If not successful. let the battery fully drain and then charfe for an hour and try again.
Frequently a white scree nis due to a hardware problem.

Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again...

Is your phone still covered by warranty? If so, go to your nearest Apple store and depending on what happened, this may or may not be covered by warranty. If it is, then you can get a replacement exactly as the phone you already have.
If out of warranty, then there is nothing you can do and you'll have to pay.

In case you have not fixed this, take a look at your Image Size (Ctrl Alt i). The default when you make a new document window is 72ppi which can result in smaller text than you sometimes expect. If you open Image size, turn off resample, and change the resolution to something like 300, you'll get much larger type for the same settings.
For this reason one of the first things I do after installing Photoshop, or resetting Preferences, is to open Preferences > Units & rulers, and set Type to mm. This way I know that if the document is set to A4, and orientated in landscape (297mm x 210mm) setting text to 21mm is going to result in type exactly one tenth the height of the document.
I believe people in America still use inches, but unfortunately inches are not an option for Type units in Preferences. It is easy enough to work it out in your head though. A 10x8 document with type set to 25mm will give you text one eighth the height of the document.
The bottom line is you can at least predict what is going to happen when setting text size.

Half of my lock button isn't working.

I bought my iPhone 5 on December 26th and it has been in an otterbox since I bought it, and I have never dropped it. But if I press to the left of the middle of it, it does work. I have Applecare, the one problem is the nearest Apple store is 2 hours away. What should I do?

Have you tried a soft reset? Hold down the Home button and the Power button on the phone until you see the Apple logo appear, then carefully release the buttons allowing the phone to boot back up.

If the sleep wake button on your iPhone is unresponsive, first try and reset all setting by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.
If this does not resolve the problem, I would sound more like a hardware based issue.
I would recommend that you contact AppleCare so they can run further tests and diagnostics to help you solve your solution better.
If you can also access an Apple Store Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Center, that would be much better.

I have an iPod Touch, and it's home button isn't working. It works but it does not respond at the moment. For example I press it and then 5 seconds later it goes to "Voice Control" which is activated by holding down the home button. Is it stuck? If it is, how can I fix it?

Sleep button no longer works, how do I get it fixed and how much will it cost. It is a repalcement from Sprint insurance and only hac it about 5 months.

The warranty will cover that is the device is only three months old and if the defect was not caused by accidental damage - like you droppoing it. I'm not accussing you of anything, I am just explaining how the warranty works.
I would try resetting the device - even though you need the sleep button to perform the reset. See if that works and then see if it helps at all.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
I would also try the iPad without the cover for a while to see if the cover is playing games with the lock feature.
