My SMS & MMS Icon has disappeared !!!

Hi again,
One minute it's there the next it's gone!!! Icons are mysteriously disappearing from my home page. My worldmate icon keeps going back to Downloads, the calculator keeps going back to applications etc.
All have been found except SMS MMS ????? Please help!!! Where can i locate them and replace them to their original spot ?

I"m having the same problem with my call log. I know that I've missed two calls but I can't tell where to figure out who they were because I can't find the call log icon. It used to be there but now its gone. Can you point me in the right direction?

Hello all...
I don't know what I've done but the FaceTime icon has disappeared...haven't a clue why or how to get it back. I hadn't tried using FaceTime yet by the way, I am new to apple products (but learning fast) but I was looking forward to using it.
I have however used the iMessage function which leads me onto the second part of my question, which is, ........ Why can I only send messages to certain people in my contacts lists? ( I do realise they have to have apple products)

App store Icon has disappeared, how do I get it back?

The App store Icon has disappeared off my iPhone 4, hence have no access to download apps direct from the phone or see if any need updating. Anyone got any bright ideas how I can get the icon back ?

I had the same problem and tried both of the suggestions listed above. The "Reset" idea did not work. The problem was instead in the "Restrictions." I had to "Allow" "Installing Apps." I don't know how I disallowed that in the first place, but for me, this was the solution. Thanks!

The airplay icon has disappeared from my desk top. It was there two weeks ago, so I can't watch movies I've downloaded from iTunes and flick them over to my TV.

Also, if I rent the movie through iTunes, why (because of the above issue) when I go to 'Purchased' it doesn't display as an option when actually using Apple TV, it doesn't display but when I go to rent it again a message comes up saying "you have already rented this movie, do you want to rent it again"? Frustrated!!

Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

Is the Camera turned on in Restrictions? Go to Settings>General>Restrictions.

Depending on what iOS version you have, the camera button can be accessed from the lock screen, or from within the home screen. If the phone is locked, tap the home button once and you should see the Slide to Unlock and to the right of that, the camera button. That button is designed to be slid upwards to access the camera.
If you go to the home screen, find the camera app icon and tap on that, the camera should open. The camera could be in one of the folders you have on any of your home screens. If you still cannot find it, go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. That should bring it back.

Do you have Time Machine enabled. If so, go back through your previous months until it features in your Application folder. Then restore.

You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.

My 6g audiobook icon has disappeared. Help

Have you tried swiping to the left or right from your iPod's Home screen to see if it was moved to another page?
