My song and album covers are mixed up, I am also missing tons of my contacts, my phone shutdown on it's own yesterday and it's been repeatedly asked me to verify my email passwords...all since last update...help

I have the same problems with emails and it has possibly cost me business. I deleted a load that I thought were from Facebook before noticing that the subjects were not always matching the content. I have since found out that emails were sent to me regarding some freelance work and as I did not reply they have gone elsewhere that I must have deleted because the subject said they were from Facebook.
it is still happening with emails received today.

I can connect via the API and retrieve a list of contacts but it seems that the only paramater i can pass is to search since the last Update Date.
Is it possible to search on the Created date and to have a date range as well?
I found the xml result is slow to come as it gives all entries since the "lastUpdateDate" entered.

A change in score does not cause the Date Modified field to change on the contact record. This field only changes when some data in one of the fields has changed.
However, some of the confusion can come from the fact that lead scores have a Profile and Engagement portion. So if you have certain fields on the profile section being modified, that would cause a rescore at the same time. Engagement criteria such as form submits often cause the contact record to be modified while website visits and email clicks/opens do not.

Folders don't want to open in iWorks iCloud After last update.

With the new iWorks Update for iCloud i cannot open the folders with my files. Is this a known bug now ? Clicking on the folders does nothing. I am using the latest version of Safari on a Mac.

I have unsuccessfully used Windows live. I have four email addresses. Can I use Fire Fox with out having to sign in and out every time I want to switch email addersses? Thanks for your help. Jon Whan

I have four email addresses and would like to be able to have them available with out having to sign in and sign out each time I want to use a different one. I tried Windos live but found it cumbersome and not efficient or without errors. I was told Fire Fox allows this for this - does it?

My ipod keeps skipping songs, and my itunes won't play anything since the update. help

since i have done the itunes update, none of my songs will play, but it will still sync my ipod. I recently synced my ipod and i have things i have downloaded from itunes and elsewhere, but some of the songs i have donwloaded from itunes cut out half way through playing.

Rotten Tomatoes reviews missing from UK ATV2 since last update

Since last update to 4.2, the movie/critic reviews have 'disappeared' from rental movies, leaving only user reviews that are less than helpful.
Is this just me or have others noticed the same thing?

probably related to rotten tomatoes being a US review service, or apple only having a licensing agreement for the US.
also note that there is no 4.2 update for the appletv.
the current version is 4.1.1, and the previous version was 4.1.

Kde doesn't want to start since last update

yesterday I updated kde to the latest version 3.1.5-1
But when my system boots (and it normally automatically logs me into a kde session) it sais something about an internal communication error, and that I should start dcopserver or something. After that it shows me the first time wizard, and when you complete this, it sais it doesn't have write access to my home directory. Then it hangs on the kde load screen, so you can't start it anymore. I'm using fluxbox to write this, and my home dir is perfectly mounted/writable btw.
Ideas?

the second I posted that, my system froze
ctrl-alt-backspace or the sysrq stuff didn't work, only a hard reboot saved me
there must definatelly be something wrong with that new kde package

For the missing Artists on your iPod, make sure their tracks in iTunes are not marked as "Part of a compilation" in iTunes. You can do this by highlighting the track, right->clicking on them and choosing "Get Info" from the shortcut menu. When the window pops up, head over to the Info tab and make sure there is NO tick mark next to this option in the lower right hand corner. Lastly, sync the updated changes to your iPod.

Album titles are missing from some of the songs on my iPhone, but show up in iTunes normally.

Some songs that are synced onto my iPhone are missing album names. It's completely blank. I went back and double checked on my computer, and found that the album is all there in iTunes. Furthermore, the album artwork shows up on my iPhone. So something weird has to be happening.
For example, iTunes shows songs as having a name, artist, album, track number, year, etc. When it shows up in Music, the album is missing along with the track number (I assume). The song IS on my iPhone, it's just missing the album TITLE (not the artwork though). I can find the song under songs, but not albums.
I went back and checked in iTunes to make sure all the obvious things weren't affecting it. I removed it from my phone, then re-synced it. I changed the artist name, album name, everything. I checked and unchecked 'part of a compilation.' I put it on a playlist, took it off the playlist, synced the album, the artist, synced nothing and dragged it to my iPhone. Nothing worked. For the life of me I can't get this album name to show up for all the songs on this album. It's weird because the album is definitely shown in iTunes, and the song definitely gets synced to my iPhone without that data.
I'm completely at a loss here. Any thoughts?

I have this same issue. All the data (including artwork) is in iTunes, but on py phone (4S, current OS). the album title is missing. If I'm using bluetooth to connect to my car, it shows as "Unknown Album."
There isn't any rhyme or reason to it. I've had it happen to singles as well as one track of a complete album. It doesn't seem to matter if artist matches album artist or not or whether it is part of a compilation.
One more bit of information. I recently purchased the entire soundtrack for Hairspray. At first the album name was on my phone no problem. Then I went into iTunes and edited some track information, changing the artist name (and album artist) to "Cast Recording" and removing the check for compilation. After making those changes, the album name went missing.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you might have the shuffle button at the bottom left of the iTunes (the button with the squiggly lines).
If that's not the case, then maybe you just need to sort your library by album by clicking the album tab at the top.
Is your music in a playlist, or are you trying to play it from the entire library?

Delete the files from iTunes. Go to the iTunes Store. Look to the right side of the iTunes Store window for the Purchased function. You can find all of your past purchases there.

Album artwork went missing but song details were updated

need help to know what's the reason why a certain album artwork went missing when you have updated them before manually, via posting a jpg file and dragging them on to the artwork space.
what i noticed whenever this happens all the other details such as song number and disc# and even the songwriters have been updated.
also on the comment space displays something like this:

i am not sure what these codes are but it gets so annoying that you get to update the artwork everytime it goes missing.
on the preference tab i unchecked 'automatically download missing artwork' but still something like connecting to internet automaticaly updates it.

I had this same problem and started a thread, but for the most part nobody responded and those who did somehow didn't understand what the problem was.

I'm sure the problem is sweat getting into the apple supplied headphone "remote." Basically even the smallest drop can slide down the wire and get into the unit.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution other than to get a Belkin remote adapter and some sport headphones. This doesn't give you voice over, but you can still control the volume, skip, etc.
I've been doing this for a couple weeks now and it hasn't had a freak out since.
