My songs on itunes are cutting off around 30 seconds before the end, how do i stop it from doing this?

it started off with only some doing it but more and more seem to cut off before the end of the song and its really annoying i dont know why its doing it and i cant figure out how to stop it does anyone have the answer?

I don't know, Maybe Office 2008 doesn't play nice with Lion. Was 2008 working previously with Lion? Did you have these problems with Snow Leopard?

All I can suggest is uninstalling and starting over with a fresh installation.
Alternatively don't use Office at all. Instead use one of the Office substitues that supports Word documents (OpenOffice, LibreOffice, NeoOffice). Also there's Apple's Pages and MS Office 2011.

My shuffle cuts off audiobook files before the end.

I have both music and books on my new (4g?) shuffle. The only difference between the files is the book files are labeled in INFO as audiobooks. The music plays thru to the end of the file but the books stop short.

I don't want Firefox to check spelling on these text blocks that I copy and paste. Sometimes I need to capture screen images of these text blocks in the mapping application and I want them to look clean. Thanks.

Does "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick when this happens?
You can consider to disable the spell check underline by setting the ui.SpellCheckerUnderlineStyle pref to 0 (zero) on the <b>about:config</b> page.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

When running a slideshow from an album it will not run properly if the photos are sorted manually. Sort them by any of the other options, title, date, rating, etc. and it will play correctly.
Send a report of the problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
If you must sort them manually create the slideshow in the slideshow mode in iPhoto, not from an album.

I've been deleting the info in the "Sort..." fields, but when I plug my iPod into my computer iTunes repopulates the fields I deleted. How do I stop it from doing that?

Information all in the title. I open a .ai file and the left and right sides of the image are cut-off based on the "page" box

Did you open it in a lower version?
It looks like you opened the PDF part of the file instead of the AI part.

HT1338 How do I reset the display setting back to default? My display is zoomed to one corner and the other 2 sides are cut off. I don't know how to fix it.

My baby nephew pressed a lot of the buttons on the my mac and has caused the display to zoom into one corner. It other two corners are cut off which makes it really difficult to use the computer. I attatched and image so that you can see what I am talking about. Please help, thanks ! =)

Hold down the Control key and scroll with the mouse or keyboard. One direction zooms the other unzooms.

Well, speeding up an audio file naturally makes it shorter. A far better way to shorten an audio file (assuming it's not synced to the video) is to just razor blade it at the end and fade it out by keyframing the levels or adding a long audio dissolve. Or by editing it so that it does fit.

During a recent trip to the USA my daughter somehow managaed to download on her Itouch a song which appears to not be avaliable on UK Itunes. Therefore a couple of questions arise here. Firstly how did she manage to download this track as I was under the impression that you can only download tracks on the ITunes Store where you come from (in this case the UK) and secondly how do you download this track from Icloud in the UK? I have accessed ICloud but the track doesnt seem to be there...

Is the iTunes app on your computer opening in the Canadian iTunes Store? Go to the bottom of the iTunes Store page and check the circular flag icon in the right corner. If it is not the Canadian flag click it and change the country. Then log into your Canadian iTunes account and sync your iPad.
Hopefully it is now using the Canadian iTunes Store.

I transfered my music to my new computer and when i play a previously purchased song it stops about 40 seconds before the end of the song...can anyone explain this to me?

Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player? If it does then it is an iTunes issue. If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

Downloaded songs seem to be cut off - don't get the full song

I have the latest iTunes software, but this has been happening for a while. I am using windows version of iTunes.
Several of my songs that I have downloaded seem to only play half the time before jumping to the next song. I thought it might have been as I had shuffle on but i turned that off and tried the same song again.
Any suggestions for this.
Can I try deleting it and downloading it again without having to pay for it again?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

How to cut off extra time at the end of a movie

I imported a video about 5 minutes long, then edited it down to 1 minute. There is still about 5 minutes of extra blank space in the timeline and when I render it the space renders as well. I have searched all over the net and I can not figure out how to cut out the extra time off the video. Any suggestions? Thanks

Firefox keeps focusing on a tab when i drag and move tabs around while in a different tab. Can i some how disable or stop it from doing that?

i loved being able to use this setting/feature(?) before, and it's really annoying now that every time i drag a tab while in a different one it goes immediately to the tab i'm dragging. i use to do it all the time but now it doesn't work. Hoping for some way around it!? thanks in advance.
