My speakers and earphones will not work. worked fine last time I used but not at all when I started

I used my dv6 6033d last night on Skype and it worked great. Today when I started my computer, I have no sound from internal speakers or the earphones. It dosn't show on mute. What can it be?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If none of the above resolves the issue, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

Im actually tilting it up where it cinnects to my iPod, not where it connects to my computer, and i have tried three(yes, 3) different cables, one of which i bought brand new. still nothing, and i've also tried different USB ports on my computer,....nothing. Could this simply be a hardware failure of somekind? maybe a physical problem...i mean, why would i have to tilt the cable in order for my computer to actually read my iPod? im looking at the USB connector on my iPod (maybe it's my imagination, not sure) it possible might be bent, the little metal part in the port.

Try at the very least to update your iPhoto version to 8.1.2.

My iPad 2 used to connect to my wifi and now will not at all. Prior to it becoming completely nonfunctional I could get it to connect by restarting it. Then that didn't work anymore so I went into general settings reset all network settings.

Then I went into general settings and reset all network settings and that worked for a while. When that stopped working I let the battery drain completely and then after a full charge it worked again for a while. Now nothing. What should I try next that will hopefully fix this issue more permanently?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

New CDMA iPhone 4S, apps that require data such as Yahoo instant messenger and the weather channel, work fine with a wifi connection but do not work with 3G

These apps just time out on 3G, but load just fine over wifi from the device. I know the data connection is good because web pages load fine in the browser on the phone.

HT4623 Earphones don't work with iPad. Have used three different pair, all of which work with my IPhone.

I cannot get earphones to work with my IPad mini. Have tried the earphones that came with my iPhone as well as a Bose set and a cheapo set. Have brought IPad to Apple store where they blew out the port with pressured air which worked for a few days. Now we're back to the same problem.

Did you try to do a hard reset?
Press Sleep/Wake and Home button at the same time and hold them for 10 sec.
It will reboot the iPad.
Still having the issue after this?
Did you try to hook it up to iTunes and do factory restore?

I cannot access the music via my iTunes account and it will not download all of them. If it matters, I have not gotten the new update yet.

I go to school and I would like to be able to listen to my music on my laptop versus using my iPhone or iPad. Only some of my music had been downloaded and I cannot download the rest. I have authorized my computer through my account several times but I still cannot get all of my music on it. Backup Asst Plus and Cloud will not backup all contacts...Why?

I have 1,000+ contacts on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Verizon Backup Assistant and Verizon Cloud will only back up 8 contacts when I sync. They are the various Verizon numbers plus a couple of contacts that I have entered. Does anyone know how to make all the contacts sync?

Do yourself a huge favor. Ditch Backup Assistant altogether and use Google to backup your contacts.

Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. When you right click a menua comes up and you select Backup.

I just got a MacBook Pro a couple of months ago and I love it! I am having a minor problem getting pictures (normally thumbnails) on websites like facebook and myspace will not load. When I am logged on to the wireless internet at school these thumbnails load fine, the problem occurs only when I am at home and try to access these websites. I am connected wirelessly to a 2Wire DSL router. Any help with this annoyance would be greatly appreciated!
