My start page does not have the otion for searching UK sites only, just worldwide search how can i get this?

i just bought an iPad from a friend. I think is generation 1 or 2 not sure where to look for this. Bottom line, I would like to update it to iOS7. Is this possible? It does not have the option for software update.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

How to Upgrade to iOS 7
The iOS 7.0 update requires around 2.5 GB of storage space, so if your iPad is almost full, you may need to clear up some space. You can check your available space in Settings -> General -> Usage.
There are two ways to upgrade to iOS 7: You can use your Wi-Fi connection, or you can connect your iPad to your PC and update through iTunes. We'll go over each method.
To upgrade using Wi-Fi:
Note: If your iPad's battery is under 50%, you will want to plug it into your charger while performing the update.
Go into the iPad's Settings.
Locate and tap "General" from the menu on the left.
The second option from the top is "Software Update". Tap this to move into the update settings.
Tap "Download and Install". This will start the upgrade, which will take several minutes and will reboot your iPad during the process. If the Download and Install button is grayed out, trying clearing up some space. The space required by the update is mostly temporary, so you should gain most of it back after iOS 7 is installed.
Once the update is installed, you may have to run through the initial steps of setting up your iPad again. This is to account for new features and settings.
To upgrade using iTunes:
First, connect your iPad to your PC or Mac using the cable provided when you purchased your device. This will allow iTunes to communicate with your iPad.
You will also need the latest version of iTunes. Don't worry, you will be prompted to download the latest version when you launch iTunes. Once it installs, you may be asked to setup iCloud by logging into your iTunes account. If you have a Mac, you may be prompted on whether or not you want to enable the Find my Mac feature.
Now you are ready to begin the process:
If you upgraded iTunes earlier, go ahead and launch it. (For many, it will launch automatically when you plug in your iPad.)
Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.

The OTA update capability was not introduced until iOS 5. You will need to connect the device to the computer and iTunes and update it as you did in the past.Once you have updated, you will have the ability to do OTA updates in the future.

It worked fine before i updated the most recent update, My old computer readds the new one but the new one does not read the old one now.
Is the iTunes library actually shared on the old computer?
I have never had a need for forcing iTunes to look for shared libraries, it simply detects them. -

Can anyone advise...
Cannot download Mountain Lion after purchasing from Apple online. Mountain Lion icon is now permanently 'paused' in the dock. The Purchase page has the download but no resume button. I have enter the code again but it cannot be redeemed again. I have signed in and out again from the tab at the top of the page.
I have spoken to Apple for two evenings now. Last attempt was to bypass the Mountain Lion and download Mavericks overnight but nothing downloaded.
I have checked the internet connection and all is well.
Any ideas how to progress... I have an appointment to take in to Apple on Monday...Have you tried to resume the download using Launch Pad? The icon should be in your Dock.
If that doesn't help ...
Apps such as Little Snitch, Growl, and MacKeeper can prevent apps from downloading
Disable anti virus software if installed
Make sure the firewall is turned off in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall
Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.
If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.

Format the HDD in Disk Utility>Erase to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and the open System Preferences>Time Machine and set up the external disk as the Time Machine HDD. Then look at the Options, and exclude what you do not want backed up.

If you don't have an Installer disk then you can't install without a purchase. Do you have the grey SystemRestore disks that came with your Mac? It's on that. No, iPhoto is not part of Lion.

In the last four months i have attempted to update my billing info, it says my billing information does not match despite verifying it several times with the bank. I walked into an Apple store hoping they would be able to magically fix it, but they were unsuccessful at it as well. I haven't explored the Yahoo! toolbar in detail, but it was just updated recently. I noticed the description "new user interface" on the versions page. You also can use that page to re-install the earlier version and see whether the missing function returns.

I have a form that consists of columns and rows of fillable fields. When I use the edit function to make the height of the fields the same, or make the widths of the different columns of fields the same, or align the fields vertically or horizontally, duplicate fields are created. If these fields have a box around them, all of the duplicate fields' boxes are shown. The field names have the same base name, but have a suffix that is sequentially numbered. If I delete the "lower" numbered suffix names (with the same base name), the resulting field does not appear on the form.
What is going on with the alignment or size process. I do use the CTRL-Click function to select the group of fields I am trying to size or align. If using the selection of multiple fields should be done differently, how can it be done?No. That's not what's happening. The duplicate fields are ONLY created after I employ the alignment or sizing functions. Weird.
I was hoping that this was the result of some kind of setting in Acrobat, or that the duplicate fields would disappear when saving the form, but that's not what happened.
