My storage is full, I don't know what's taking it up! Can anyone help me?
Anyone help? I have 61 photos + 4 videos, so that cant take up alot. No films, one song. 3 apps. I need some advice.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

My G RAID thunderbolt drive mounted just fine onto my iMac this morning. I copied some files from another drive onto the RAID drive, ejected it, and worked on another project for a few hours. When I went to mount the RAID drive again so I could work on the project associated with the drive (I'm a freelance video editor) it would not mount. I've tried everything. It boots up perfectly fine, the drive seems to have no hardware problems. It shows up on Disk Utility and in System Information but is listed as not mounted. I've verified it on Disk Utility and it tells me everything with the drive is fine. I've tried all the various restarting my iMac, ejecting and reconnecting the drive, shutting down the whole system and starting it back up, relaunching Finder, and nothing works. Starting to panic because this is a client's drive, I have no idea what the issue is, it worked perfectly fine only hours ago, nothing happened to it in the meantime, and I fear continuously connecting and ejecting it because I don't know what the state is with the data and if this is only going to further aggravate the problem. I've been up and down Apple and g-raid forums and can't get a straight answer anywhere. I need to know that the data is safe, the drive is undamaged, and how to get it to mount on my iMac. Can anyone out there help me with this??

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router you may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or if HH4/5 then go to troubleshooting then logs and you are looking for 2 line together when hub last connected to internet and they will show your connection speed and noise margin or if netgear enter 192.168.0.1). Then run btspeedtester (MAC users may have problems). when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results ( do not reset the router).
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem

My ipod will add apps happily but it won't delete any so they've built up so now I can't add anymore. . I can't take it back to the factory settings because I don't know the 4 digit code. Please can someone help?! xxx
Sorry. You can't get help here. Ask whoever wrote the jailbreak.
You can try putting it in DFU mode (google is your friend), but that's all we can suggest.
Jailbreaking voids your warranty and AppleCare agreement and forfeits all rights to support. -
A window appears ,about 4/5mins intervals,during Freecell game and I don't know how to rid this irritating intrusion .The window box states "item not available from UK store" ,presumably referring to a previous requested app! I don't know what this error means. Can anybody help?
What does the following error mean? How do I fix it? Both HelloWorld.class and Hello.html are in the Java directory. I also get an error when I try to run the applet in a browser--applet noninited. I'm just trying to go through the tutorial, but they don't mention this as one of the errors possible.

My iPod mini, 4gb is hard to get serviced obviously because they dont make them anymore. Lately ive noticed that my bettery life has decreased so much that i dont even bother taking it out of the ac adapter that is in my outlet. instead of the suggested amount of play time, i get maybe 4-5 hours of battery life, maybe even 6 if im lucky. i thought that i might buy an attachment type accesorie that i plug into the usb port on my ipod to be allowed more battery life, but its just all too overwhelming and im really not sure about which one would be what im looking for. also, i dont want to have to go out and buy a new sord or two just to have this thing work. i found a product in the online store, that i guess you place the ipod mini on, and it gives you up to 20 or so more hours of time. but then it says that you have to have a firewire port or cable? and that just confuses me even more! can somebody PLEASE HELP ME!!! im really lost and dont want to have to spend 50 or 60 dollars on something that isnt going to work for me. im so fet up with apple right now. If someone could just please help me, i would be SOOOOOOOO............grateful!!!! Thank You!!!!!

It's called a dock connector, not a USB port.

What is it? The firewire port is on the computer, not the iPod.
If the original battery is going bad, the first thing to do is get that sorted out. -
I am getting a warning sign related to Console (9y7:36) and a box with >- related to Terminal in my dock. Also when I click on terminal there is a heading "bash 80 X 24" after my name in favourites. Can someone give me any idea what this could be about? Thanks in advance.
So far, you have described the standard Dock symbols for Console utility and Terminal Utility.
If you did not deliberately add them to the Dock, something you did seems to have opened these two Applications so that their icons are showing on the Dock.
That may be perplexing, but is not a cause for alarm. -
How do I free up iCloud space if I don't know what is taking up that space?
So I like to backup my phone to iCloud, but don't want to buy more storage space, because I don't have too much stuff on my iPhone. According to iCloud my next backup will be 5.3 GB, I have turned off documents and data, iCloud Keychain, and all of my apps except for 3 (Camera Roll (2.7GB), Find My iPhone (.6KB), and one other one that takes up about 700MB of space). I've also turned off all other the other things such as; Contacts, Calenders, Mail, etc. so I don't know why my next backup will be so large, is it the 3GB of "other" data that I see when I sync my phone, although that wouldn't add up to the 5.4 total I'll have next. I know I can delete old backups, my old one is 4.9GB, I'm just waiting until I can back it up again before I delete that one. If someone could please help me out that would be great, thanks!
First, take care of the battery, which could degenerate into a serious hardware problem. Apple Store, etc.
Second: your battery is so full I don't know what to suggest. Without knowing any better, I'd say increase your drive size to avoid the problem in the future.

I'm trying to connect to my home wifi with my imac gh5. After I enter the password it says connection timeout or password incorrect. I know there's no issue with the connection but I don't know what else to do. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
What is the make & model of your home Wi-Fi router that you are attempting to connect your G5 iMac to? Which exact model of iMac do you have?
What wireless security type is your router using: WEP, WPA, or WPA2? If you temporarily disable wireless security, can the iMac connect to it now? -
On iTunes when i plug my iphone in, the bar at the bottom with contains the information about the capacity of my iphone, it has a bar called 'other' which has 4GB. I don't know what is taking up that space or how to get rid of it. please help
You can reduce the size to normal, which is about 1GB, by restoring the phone.

The size of this part can increase when something goes wrong during a sync, or some files can't be read anymore by iTunes. -

As I understand it, Apple gets your location from the wi-fi router to which your iPod is connected. Location Services identifies the router and then checks for its location in Apple's database. If the router has been recently relocated or if there is a glitch in Apple's database, you will get an incorrect location. I don't think that there is anything you can do about it. You could send Apple a message about the error, but I doubt if they would do anything about it.
