My store location is wrong on iphone maps, what now?

I do not own any apple products. I am here because I get about 3 calls per day, from people that do, saying that their iPhone took them to the wrong location. How can I fix this problem for them? How can I tell apple my correct address or fix whatever problem is occurring?

Paranoia perhaps, I just find it strange that the only electronic map that has my location wrong is the one that allows users "report a problem", setting the location in a different place as the address, and doesn't run off the basic address=location theory that company's like Google use.
My address is "public knowledge" but most people memorize my company name not the address, and if they use apple maps they will not find me.
I'm just here hoping that someone knows about an easy over ride method that owners of the company who's store location is in question can utilize to help iPhone direct its users to where they are trying to go.
I am having a terribly hard time figuring out how to "take this up with apple" All I can find is a ton of other people with this problem and the only solution being to "report a problem" on the maps, but this doesn't seem to work.
My real question is how do you get a hold Apple to take this up with them. Because Contact Us and Support has only lead me here.

Location search problem with iPhone map

I am posting this to see if anybody else have the same problem, and hopeful a solution as well.
The problem is that iPhone map started from a 3ird party software does not use my current location by default. For example, I did a search for pizza in google search. The google app will give me a list of local pizza places in their page. But if I click on show all results, it brings up the map app and displays a few pizza places around the world. But shouldn't it give me results in my local area instead? At first, I thought this is a google problem. But I see the same problem later with another voice search app. Have anyone experience this with their iPhone?

I doubt that Apple will listen to us. Users with a problem that occurs quite a lot.

I quit itunes while syncing iphone. What now?

I accidentally quit iphone while updating iphone software. I restarted the iphone and it give me a picture suggesting I plug it into a USB port. NOw itunes gives me the option to restore my iphone. Does this mean I will permanently loose all my media? Can I restore all that stuff from my computer backup after I restore?

I imported a bunch of CD's using the wrong import setting. What now?

I imported about 75 or more CD's using Aiff setting so now I have a ton of songs that are huge files. How can I make these songs itunes default file types (aac itunes plus) without importing every CD again? Thanks for any suggestions.

You can adjust your imports settings to AAC (iTunes Plus) and convert the tracks you have imported. You can use iTunes to convert any copy protection free songs in your library another format. When you convert a song in iTunes it will be converted to the format that you have set to import your CDs in. Converting creates a second copy of the song in the format you have chosen which gives you the opportunity to either keep or delete the original. In iTunes go to Edit>Preferences>General and click on Import Settings,, Change your Import format to AAC Encoder for example and choose the Setting or "bit rate" you want (the default setting iTunes Plus will give you a bit rate of 256kbps). Go back to your library and highlight the songs you want to convert and go to the Advanced menu at the top of your iTunes window and choose "Create AAC version": iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format

Strange locations pinned on iPhone map

How does one get pinned location sites on their (iPhone) map app when they weren't there and didn't drop a pin to mark? In addition was like 6 times at one location in a day , according to the date given.

Pins can be dropped on the map (in the Maps app) by touching and holding on the screen. A pin can be dropped at any location at any time, regardless of your current location.
Manually mark a location. Touch and hold the map until the dropped pin appears.

Wrong directions and poor serching ability of new Iphone Map

Please, could we have the option to download the same app we were using before from google maps? Apple really seems not to care about the customers by doing this change. I was an active user of google maps daily and I have tried to use the new iPHone map multiple times but mistakes are huge including wrong locations and directions. I cannot stand this anymore. Apple should be embarrassed to put out such an inferior mapping application.
If Apple really cares about the service they provide, get us Google Maps back!

Google didnt let apple devices have turn by turn navigation. Because of the reason that apple care about their customers, they thought to bring up their own map which offers turn by turn navigation. But they are just beginning, so it would take some time to make it fully working. So until then if you wanna use google map, you can visit www.maps.google.com and tap the arrow button on bottom and add it to home screen.

IPhone maps favourites does not open the location

I have problem with iPhone maps i hope some one can help me.
I have saved many places at favourites under different names. Now when I select one of these location the maps does not go to location , its like only searching by the saved name as its the location name.
Is there a way to get them back ?
or I can get the coordinates from these favourite ?

If you open an email with an attachment in Mail, there should be a rectangle with a dashed line border and an arrow pointing down. This means you can download it - to do that, just tap it.
Instead, if it's already downloaded, there will be a bar on the screen with the name of the attachment, icon for the type of file, size, and an arrow (>) on the right. Tap the bar to open the attachment.

IPhone 3GS - "LOCATION PINNING" PROBLEM ON THE MAP

Hi everyone. I'm currently using an iPhone 3GS running on IOS4 and unfortunately facing "location pinning problem" on the map. Even though, "location services" feature is on and also "active" for photos, I quite often need to reboot my device right after I took a picture(s) in order to see the "location pin(s)" on the map.
But sometimes I don't need to do so, because it somehow captures the place the picture's taken and puts a pin on the map right away.
Do you have any ideas about where that problem might be stemming from? Appreciate your help on this issue. Thx a lot in advance...

What is the latest way to show store locations on a Google map in BC please? There are lots of resources but they seem to differ for the best approach to embed a Google map & many are out of date.

There is no latest way but the safest way is to use the google geolocation based on address rather then trying to use the lattitude and longitutde from BC. SInce these do not render out anything in several cases. Like if you are in a country that does not have a state for example.

If no joy...
Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.

My kitten (Mr. Kitty or Mister K Star), who I had just adopted from the SPCA (died on August 14, 2011) -- which has really put my mental state all over the kitten place (shopping, in a car, in public ...) ... I only had the poor guy for one month and he died of pneumonia.
Me driving in my vehicle has not been the same.
EXAMPLE:
I was driving in my car yesterday. And then today, I realized I could not get from point A to point B on my iphone G3. Well, I called AT & T and explained my situation. The guy ( AT & T rep ) told me that the "Maps" feature got bought out and it does not work. I thought to myself, "That's F-ing stupid." That will pee off infinite Apple iPhone users. Expressed, "I have been using Google Maps on my iPhone 3G ever since I got it." Asked, "are any other iPhone customers calling in having the same issues?"
Of course, I'm smart. I took a screen shot ("transit directions could not be found between these locations"). I was too busy to even notice that the icons at the top were on the "Bus" image. Duhhhhh. Only thing I can say, is ... that when I am driving in my car ... I'm multi-tasking. Some where in my drive (adventure), I accidentally touched the "Bus" icon like an idiot.
Therefore, when I tried to get one simple answer to help with my problem when dialing 611, the people (at AT & T) could not even provide a correct one just reading from a manual while on the job.
Luckily, my screen shot helped me out. It was the only way to go online and find this post from 2009. Then I had to re-look at my screen shot to even see that my "Bus" image was highlighted. So I just put the icon back onto the "Car."

Changing App Store Location
NOTE: Your App Store account location, your iTunes account location, and your Apple account location are all the same thing. In other words, if you change the location of one of these accounts, the change will be applied to all accounts (actually it'll be applied to just ONE account, since they're the same and all, but you know what I mean).
STEP 1 - Open the App Store app.
STEP 2 - Select the "Featured" tab at the bottom.
STEP 3 - Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Apple ID: [email protected]".
STEP 4 - Select "View Apple ID".
STEP 5 - Insert your password and select "OK".
STEP 6 - Select "Country/Region".
STEP 7 - Select "Change Country or Region".
STEP 8 - Select your desired country from the list. NOTE: If your country is not listed alphabetically, scroll to the bottom of the list where you'll find it written in original form (for example, Japan is listed at the bottom as "日本"). Then click "Done" and "Next".
Finally, input your billing information. If you do not have a credit card connected to a bank account created in the country you selected, IT'S OK! Just select none in the credit card section. As long as you have a workable address, you're good to go.
