My subscription says I have 400 minutes (used 40) ...

Hello and GREETINGS from Senegal!
I'm American and I have a subscription for the US to make calls to my mom who can't seem to handle downloading skype... I pay $14.99 or whatever it is, a month and it has been working fine until now.  I haven't been able to call her or my son in weeks and it's a bit distressing.  My credit says .04 but my subscription 'bar' is totally green and says I have 400 minutes so what's going on? 
Please tell me plain language how to resolve this!  Thank you!

    Put my codes into the redeem section and it says they have already been used!  On a new MacBook Pro and I have not previously downloaded Mountain Lion.  I'm getting ready to move to the UK on Sunday, any idea if that will affect this process?

    Esp. if you want to install on a third computer, CC it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.

    The message shouldn't have anything to do with iCloud storage. You need the free space on the iPad itself, not in iCloud. You have to free up space on the iPad by deleting content. You can delete any movies, videos, apps, or whatever you want to delete in Settings>General>Usage>Storage.

    How are you transferring the data? Migration Assistant? How do you have the computers connected (wifi, Ethernet hub, FireWire, etc.)?
    You may want to cancel the transfer and just see what data was transferred. You can always begin again if not all data has been transferred.

    I have similar issue, with the last update , the email icons have changed and for my Optimum account they do not offer an icon, it just lists Other to select.  Once the account is activated I got flooded with over 7000 emails! This never happened before the update. I went to manage the amount of email for that account and found that function is not longer available for this account yet it's available for my gmail and my exchange accounts. Tried speaking with an actual Apple rep who took my number in case we got disconnected and low and behold mid stream of him telling me he had to escalate this to a superior I got disconnected and he never called me back. No resolution and to get anyone at support is ridiculous. The only reason I have an iPad is because is was a gift otherwise I would not own an Apple product if you paid me. Can't wait to get rid of this and go with Surface.  So now I have no resolution to me email situation other than turning the account off or deleting it.  Very unhappy with Apple. When they do these updates they should thoroughly research before they give to out to consumers and screw up their systems. So done with them!

    my iPad 2(3g wifi 16gb is saying i have 1034 photos in my my photo library. when i i only have 3 albums (2 shared and 1 camera roll) consisting of the following number of pictures, 184, 46, 151. this apparently (according to usage>manage storage> etc) says i have 7.3GB used ? there are no videos in my library to explain the high usage memory. So my questions are these; Are there hidden files/pictures on my iPad i don't know about? can anyone explain the high usage? i have deleted the recently deleted folder. any help would be appreciated as i only have the 16gb model and to loose 7gb somewhere is not a good thing. for info, when connected to iTunes (i have a mac mini) it also says i have over 7gb used in photos.

    You can download photos from your device only from its Camera Roll. If you synced these photos from another compute or have them in shared Photo Streams, you cannot get them from the iPhone.

    I need to clear up space on my 4 year old Imac.  The most gbs are used in my User folder.  It says 262gb are used.  But when I click on the individual folders, and add them up I have only used 80 gb.  Where are the others ,  how can I clear them up.  I am baffled.  Help

    Do not delete from the libraries until you know exactly what is being deleted.
    Generally you should never delete from either of the Libraries, they contain critical system operation files.

  • When using Yahoo mail my contacts are there one minute and when you click on the they all go away and it says you have no contact

    The TO box used to auto fill when I started typing if an address was in my Contact list. The + at the end of the area for an email address says I have no Contacts
    With Firefox, Yahoo Mail works normally except for contacts, when I click "Contacts" I get a screen with no names listed. If I start a new eMail and click "To" the listing appears as normal.
    When I launch Yahoo Mail from Internet Explorer, the "Contacts" tab works normally.

    Hi there. Here's my problem:
    I had a 400 minutes India subscription for a month.
    (I cancelled the automatic recharge)
    Now the airtime is all used up but the month is not over.
    I would like to buy a new 400 minutes package - and use it right now.
    But then I get the message that if I bought the new subscription, it would be activated after the one month of my first subscription is over.

    Here's what the help says. For some reason you have to make a subscription with a different amount of minutes than the first one. Too bad it has to be this way.
    Can I have more than one subscription for calls to the same country?
    Yes you can. You can have overlapping subscriptions (for example, a Europe plan and a UK plan), and you can have two identical subscriptions. 
    If you purchase an identical subscription to one you already have (i.e. the same country and same number of minutes), the second subscription will become active when the billing period for the first subscription ends. However, if you but a subscription for calls to the same country but with a different number of minutes, the second subscription will become active as soon as you have used up all the minutes in the first subscription. For example, if you buy a Brazil 120 minutes subscription on the 1st of the month, and use all your minutes by the 20th, then buy a Brazil 60 minutes subscription, you can start using the Brazil 60 minutes subscription right away. You don't have to wait until the billing period for the first subscription has come to an end.

    some how skype charged my credit card for the existing subscription which i ve been using for few months,and eventhough its charged on the fifth of april but in my account subscription minutes will be ready by eight of april.between 5-8 of april i can not use my subscription minutes.why i cant use my minutes eventhough skype charged me already for it.

    You purchased 400 minutes to be used per month not 400 minutes to be used whenever.  Just like any cell phone plan if you use up your allocated minutes for the month you cannot use the minutes for the following month instead you have to wait or pay for minutes at a premium or upgrade/change your plan.  The same goes for Skype.  If you use up your minutes for the month then you would have to use credit if you've exhausted your minutes for the month.  Billing is always done 3 days earlier most likely to ensure that service is not interrupted.   Subscription exhaustion is what caused your interruption.  Your next 400 minutes will not start until your new cycle begins which is 3 days after the billing date.   It will work like this as long as you have the subscription.  Even if you cancel the subscription the old subscription will be in effect until the current cycle ends.

    Hate to say it. I isolated this to only be happening with email/Mail program. Then ran Sophos Virus detector on it and it did show a trojan virus in my email spam folder. I eliminated it ; ran disk utility a couple of times and  I am good now. Spent the whole day on it though before I thought of using a virus scan... as soon as I started running sophos it stopped sending me the two minute timer as well--so just opening the virus software was able to disengage whatever was happening. My computer is all mac --no PC interface added at all. Hope that was that. Thank you for responding.

    It looks like your ExportPDF subscription is still pending. It can take 24-48 hours to process fully. But once it does, you'll be able to log in and use it without it asking you to pay!
