My Sync account isn't recognized?

According to "https://account.services.mozilla.com/" I have an account and data stored with Firefox Sync. However, when I try to log into Sync from "about:accounts" with the same email it doesn't recognize the account.

It might be that you use that account which is not saved on server.Check once again if there is showing something like this '''Unknown account'''??

sync also works different after Aurora 30,again this thread helps you https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/995225

  • Lost bookmarks after updating Firefox Sync account.

I have two computers I use Firefox for, one desktop, one laptop. Both had been using the old sync system, and I really wasn't even aware there was an update to it until this morning.
    Here's the order of events:
    * My desktop computer (i.e. my main workstation) crashes and is non-bootable (though the hard drive is intact).
    * I move my work programs over to my laptop but realize I don't have enough HD space for everything because of how I'd partitioned the system.
    * No big deal, I've been meaning to wipe the system and reinstall Windows anyway. So that's what I do, creating a larger partition for my work in the process.
    * Install Firefox and notice my sync account isn't recognized, but find the upgrade process and do as it calls for (using same login/pass information as it previously was).
    * My old sync settings are not transferring to the new sync, thus no bookmarks, addons, etc.
    * Note: I wasn't able to specifically De-Sync either of the computers I use for Firefox before going through the update/upgrade process.
I wouldn't mind so much if there was at least some way to get my bookmarks back (1000's, ordered and tagged), but I really don't know what else to do except wait for the day my old, dead desktop computer can be brought back to life and I retrieve them there.
I'm thinking the fact that wasn't able to De-sync has something to do with it, but maybe not, I dunno. Any ideas?

So no ideas? Is there anything else I could add to help identify the problem?

  • IPhone 4 isn't recognized as my device and doesn't sync to itunes after a failed software update using itunes

The title says it all, but today I had the option to update my IPhone 4 through itunes and so I did. After a few minutes as the process was in effect an error popped up and said the update had failed.
Currently my phone is plugged into the USB port and is showing me a charger pointing to itunes; the complication is that my IPhone is no longer registered in my name and it also isn't sync'ing or being recognized through my itunes.
I've looked through the support pages and have done as many things as I can find which included:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
I ran the diagnostics and went to this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363?viewlocale=en_US
None of these actions gave me the answer I needed.
I've also taken my phone to the nearest AT&T provider and they weren't completely sure what's going on.
I did realize that I tried to update my IPhone when the itunes wasn't at it's most updated platform.
Any help would be much appreciated! I'm all out of ideas.

    Hy there,
First you have to try connecting your device to the computer an then reinstall the drivers by following these steps:
1'st step is to go into the device manager
2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)
3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers
4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that your itunes must detect your device in DFU mode an you will have to push the restore button and it has to restore.
    Good luck,
    Andrei

  • Classic iPod isn't recognized in iTunes / Cannot Sync

My iTunes is up-to-date with 12.1.1 version.
I have a Classic iPod that was working fine until the last 2 updates.
Now it's not recognized and, therefore, won't sync.
    Here is what happens:
    (1)  Open iTunes.  It freezes
    (2)  Finally opens.  Plug in Classic iPod.   Sometimes icon shows sometimes not.  Have to often manually eject (Windows 7 won't let me as 'it's in use').
    (3)  Once finally showing.  Try to Sync.
    (4)  Get error message stating computer isn't authorized.  (Have already deauthorized and reauthorized several times).
    (5)  Then get message with 2 other UserIds that they need to be authorized or I will lose 40 songs.  (Have authorized those as well).
    (6)  Then get error message that device isn't recognized.  I have run diagnostics in iTunes as well,  Device isn't recognized.
I am fairly computer savvy, but not a computer expert by any means.  I hope that this is an easy fix.   I am concerned my iPod has outlived its time with all of these new updates.  Also, wondering if there is a driver or something I need for my iPod.
Would appreciate any help I can get.  Thank you!

  • After replacing the OS on my laptop, how can I sync my bookmarks back to that laptop using my existing sync account? There doesn't seem to be a path to doing this based upon the instructions I've seen.

I've done a clean install of Windows 7 to my laptop and so have of course lost my previous Firefox installation. I do have a sync account and have sync'd my bookmarks to my Android phone. I can't find an option in Firefox to sync bookmarks back to the computer from which the sync account originated. There is of course no sync account set up in the newly installed browser, and my only practical option is to create a new account. I am afraid to enter my current account information here, because I don't want to take the chance of having Sync overwrite my stored records with the pristine state of my newly installed browser. When I click the link for existing accounts, I'm directed to the "Add a Device" screen, but this screen presumes I'm sync'ing to a device other than the one I currently working on. I can't discern a way of adding my laptop as a "new" device.

    K Thanks Coach,
The problem isn't so much that I dont have the facility to rate the files... I can rate tracks from my library using Media Monkey.
The issue is more that I have a couple of thousand unrated tracks - most of them are new songs that i've never listened to before (I work in a music store!). I want to be able to listen to them and rate them when I go for a run, and then have the ratings transferred onto the computer library.

  • I reset my apple ID password here on the website, but my computer isn't recognizing my new password. what should I do? I just need to update my adobe flash player but it keeps asking me for my password but won't take my new password I just updated.

"If you've forgotten the Apple ID password how did you log in to make the last post?"
Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.
As far as the link you provided, I already looked to that for help earlier. It states:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Users & Groups, click the lock to unlock it, then provide an administrator name and password. Select a user, then click Reset Password.
I did these steps, but I don't remember my admin password. The question is: How do I reset my admin password so I can reset my log in password.
Is my admin password the same password I use to log onto this website to post questions? If so, like I said previously, I already reset that password and my computer isnt recognizing it.

  • My iphone 4 isn't recognized by my computer or itunes

my iphone 4 isn't recognized by my computer or itunes. when plugged in, nothing pops up. my phone does not begin charging or ask me anything. i know the plug is fine because it works in my wall and my computer makes a noise recognizing that something was plugged in.
i found an apple support link and followed every instruction (twice) to install and do all those things to my apple device manager. nothing has changed. i just want to sync with itunes! someone please help.

    Hello Lawrence,
    I do have AppleMobileDeviceService.exe running.
My USBs are plugging in straight into the laptop.  All 4 work.  Just today, I synced my iPod with multiple USB ports.  It works for the iPod, but the iPhone won't pop-up.  The iPhone does not appear in iTunes as a button anywhere.
I am unable to use another computer for this.  I can actually go into iTunes, add file to library, and add photos that way.  So, it's recognized by my computer.
This should have been seperated.  Basically, I don't have another computer accessible to me to back-up sync on iTunes with.
The last part means in iTunes, I can click "File > Add file to library" and the iPhone is shown as a camera icon.  I can click on it and have access to photos.  I can add those photos to the iTunes library.  That's about as far as the connectivity goes with the iPhone right now.

  • My itouch 2G isn't recognized by any computer

hello ,i' ve had this itouch for over 3 years now and the cable finally died so i got a new one and i already had a couple of errors in itunes but i could still sync ; now it isn't recognized by anything (tried 2 computers and my PS3 the systems don't even know it's there) but it still charges up . I've trieD everything on this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 but it won't even show up on the The Device Manager  not even as "unknown device" . All that's left is to check my cable but it' brand new so i don't know.
    I tried VISTA ANd Win7

    - Did you try resetting the iPod. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Look at the dock connector on the iPod look for abnormalities like bent of broken contacts, foreign material or cracked or broken plastic. The iPod uses different contact for syncing and charging.

  • Ipod classic isn't recognized by the computer & keeps on restarting

    hii
I am experiencing very strange problem. My apple ipod classic isn't recognized by my computer nor it formats or restore & keeps on restarting on it's own when tried
to open any application.it also shows that there is 0kb free & 0kb used.
    please help
    highly obliged

I have the exact problem. My ipod (and now there's two of them!) used to work fine, sync, etc. with this computer. A while back, it stopped recognizing the ipod. I tried all the stuff (the 5r's), checked my usb ports (work with all other devices), different cables, etc. Finally, I got another ipod. Now I've got two perfectly good ipod classics that I can't get music on or off of. grr.
I guess it's something in my computer set up (which is still strange, since, to my knowledge nothing has really changed from when it used to work)...but it my laptop also won't recognize either ipod. so that's two computers that I'll have to take to some expert if I can't figure this out. frustrating!

  • My phone isn't recognizing it's registered?

    Hi,
I had an iPhone 4 since they came out earlier this year. Just today, I took it into the Apple store for some water damage and got an entirely new phone. Before I went to the Apple store, I synced my old iPhone's data onto my computer. When I first plugged my new phone into my computer, I skipped the initial registration (stupid me). Now I have no way to get my old iPhone's data onto my new phone. I got the link to register the phone online, which I did, but my iPhone still isn't recognizing that it's now registered. My main concern is just getting all of my old contacts, my old phone number, and all my apps onto my new phone. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Hello Isabel185,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information, take a look at:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3281
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
    Have a nice day,
    Mario
