My synced bookmarks are not correctly corresponding to what they should be after syncing, how do I correct this?

Hi, I have been trying to sync my bookmarks/tabs from my laptop to a new PC running windows 8 on my laptop and windows 7 on the PC. It took a while for any of the tabs to appear. When the finally appeared on the PC in Firefox, I checked the bookmarks but they do not correspond to the right website ans many are missing. Will this correct itself in time while the data is being synced, or is this a permanent error?
I've transferred the bookmarks many times over the years quite simply in the past, but this time, it has taken ages to work it out and see anything actually appearing on the new device (My PC). I don't know if this is normal or if I should I expect it to take a few days or hours! Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Try a hard reset of the Nano. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
I assume you have double checked to make sure you are plugging the headset all the way in meaning the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Nano?

Using LR 5 to make slideshow and images in the preview are correct but when I play the actual slideshow the pictures are a lot smaller than what they should be. Help!

Each camera must be supported explicity and your LR version is years older than your camera.
According to Adobe's Camera-support page, you need at least LR 5.3 to work with your D610 NEFs in LR:

If you don't want to upgrade to LR 5, or can't due to your OS being too old, then it might work to use the latest DNG Converter and create DNGs from your NEFs, which should open in LR 4.x. You can find the DNG Converter here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates

My e-mails are not sending. "connection to SMTP server timed out." How do I get this working?

As of yesterday, I am receiving e-mails fine; however, unable to send. Everytime I try to send an e-mail, I get "Sending of message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to SMTP server (my mail address) timed out. Try again or contact your network administrator.
I received help from lunarpages (they host my domain); however, they were unable to resolve the issue. They suggested something is blocking IP, or need to update Thunderbird, or there's a firewall there...

First of all make sure your download is complete. If you bought the disk that gave you Snow Leopard, it would probably have been 10.6.3. That means you need to download and apply the 10.6.8 Combo updater and do some software updates too.

Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

Aurora 27.0a2 (2013-11-15) ModernUI - SYNC´ed bookmarks are not visible

Using ModernUI in Win 8.1 with SYNC seems to work on hand: Typing in keywords associated to URLs displays the right SYNC´ed URLs. But the bookmarks are not displayed.
In desktop mode the SYNC runs properly in all aspects.
How can I enable the visibilty of the SYNC´ed bookmarks on ModernUI?

You're using [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/aurora/ Firefox Aurora], which is a pre-Beta build of Firefox. These builds may contain bugs that will eventually be fixed in the Beta or Release version of Firefox.
In other words, Aurora is a test build that "isn't ready for prime time".

On the iPad, go to Settings; iCloud; and turn Bookmarks to Off. Then when you connect via iTunes, under Info; Other; this allows the Sync Bookmarks to be checked. Don't ask me why it doesn't work via iCloud, but this should at least fix it.

I recently installed the new version of firefox sync on my computers (by unlinking the old version, and creating a new account), but the bookmarks are not synchronising. One of the computer turns with Windows 7 and the other with Ubuntu 14.
I created the account with the firefox on the Windows computer, and some things were well synchronized on the Linux computer (ie Addblock was installed), but the bookmarks on the Linux firefox are empty.
Could you please help me to solve this problem?

Yea bookmarks are not synchronizing. That's basically it. I'm tired of having to wait and hope for updates for things that should be a standard feature. I know there is a lot of magic behind a browser, but all i really need are the bookmarks i can open anywhere.

Not a problem. Come to think of it, Xmarks syncs across all browsers, but let's fix sync first. If you open the sync options on each of the devices that are set up on the new sync, please see this to verify each are on the new sync: [[How to update to the new Firefox Sync]], you can make sure "Bookmarks" are checked.
And if they are select sync now if there was a change. For debugging, it is actually not plural: 'about:sync-log' and these have to be turned on. By default however you should not have to do this and they are turned off as to not take up space, but to enable logs: in 'about:config' change the settings referred to here: [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Services/Sync/Getting_Started#Debugging_Sync]

Bookmarks are not showing up

Local bookmarks and Sync'd bookmarks are not visible. I have reinstalled Firefox, tried to import *.json file, sync'd from another computer and restored from previous date. I can see the Bookmarks Bar and i can add bookmarks to it but not old bookmarks. any help is appreciated. thanks

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.
