My tab groups did not restore on restart. One was related to my job.
I accidentally closed my Firefox window by clicking the upper-right-hand "X;" when I restarted Firefox, none of my tab groups were restored; I got the home page. I can't click on "History/Restore Previous Session." One of my tab groups was related to my job. Can anyone help me restore?

Anything you purchased from the iTunes Store can be downloaded again, as often as necessary, as long as it still exists in the iTunes Store.

You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.<br />

I lost all my unpinned 30 tabs and could not restore it, when Adobe update opened a link by firefox, which was not running in the background.
I guess what I have experienced might be a special case of 'Restore previous sessions'. The actual situation was that after I rebooted my laptop, Adobe update jumped out indicating an update being finished successfully. After I clicked on the 'close' button of the Adobe window, it automatically started firefox and linked to its website. But I did not find the 'Restore previous sessions' page this time. Then I restarted firefox, this time there was a start page with 'Restore previous sessions'. However, sadly enough, it is only restored my pinned pages plus the Adobe website. Actually, I am using 'bookmark all tabs' from time to time to secure opened tabs, but this time I did not expect such an incident. I would suggest to improve the 'Restore previous sessions' with multiple time tags and appear in all cases including my reported case here, after updating firefox, crashes etc. I like firefox in most occasions, therefore believe and hope it becomes better and more robust. I purchased an iPhone 3 and had taken some photos on it. I started having issues within 30 days and could replace it. So I created an iCloud account and saved those photos as a back up on iCloud. I did not restore my new phone from back up because I did not realize I needed to restore and not just activitate it. How can I save the new photos, apps, and other stuff but retrieve the old photos?
If all you want is your old photos, you could backup your new phone using iTunes, then restore it from your iCloud backup, import the old photos to your computer, then restore it from the backup your made in iTunes returning your newer data to your phone. If you want your old photos on your phone, sync them there from your computer using iTunes. The process would look like this:
Connect your phone to your computer, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on it and select Transfer Purchases; right-click again and select Backup.
Disconnect from your computer and go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to return it to new
Go through the activation setup, choosing to Restore from iCloud backup. Make sure your phone is plugged into a charger and has access to wi-fi as this can take hours to complete.
When complete, without connecting your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Now import the old photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)
When done, open iTunes, right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose the backup you made in step 1.
Go to the Photos tab and select the photos you want to sync to your phone and sync. -
How do I Restore previous session when I have it setup correctly and it did not restore from last session? I have General is set to Show my windows and tabs from last time and Privacy set to remember history.

There is No option to restore previous session when I go into History. There is No Recent history in the History. It will show my history if I click on show History, but it won't restore it!Hi StuckAtHomeMom
try in PRIVACY panel to set : Firefox will: Use custom settings for history and :
Uncheck: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
Uncheck: [ ] "Clear history when Firefox closes"
check everything else and in Accept third-party cookies, set Keep until: they expire

I upgraded my 3GS from s.w. ver. 4.0 to 5.1, but iTunes did not restore my apps. Can I retrieve them somehow, o do I have to download them again individually?
Sync from iTunes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer. Select iPhone under 'Devices' on iTunes left Pane, then select 'Apps' tab on the right Pane. Make sure SYNC APPS box is checked then click the SYNC button on the lower right window.
Alternatively, you can re-download individually from your Device

tabs: previous versions of firefox allowed for saving all tabs with a group name, so you could open them all again later at your convenience. The new firefox 4.0.1 has a new tab feature, but the tab groups do not seem to persist once you shut down, and are not saved as a folder in your bookmarks. What am I missing? How can I do what I want (save permanent set of tabs as a group that is available later, like the folder of bookmarks was)? Thanks

I have multiple apple ids was backing up everything to iCloud from iPhone 5. I just bought iPhone 6 and perform a iCloud restore. I received a message that all files did not restore. How can I restore apps, files manually?
Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.

After clean install of Snow Leopard, Time Machine did not restore all files. When I try to restore these files I get "Not enough disk space" error. What do I need to do to get these important files back onto my Mac from my external hard drive??

For what the Apple Store's charge you can buy almost buy a new computer.
Just for giggles I brought my old laptop in for a drive upgrade and asked, they wanted $600 for a drive that only cost $120 at the time and it was a slow 5,400 RPM drive. The new Mac's of a similar make were going for $1000.
I did the drive replacement myself, got a faster drive of better quality for $300 instead.
Then another time I asked for a RAM upgrade from 4GB to 8GB, they wanted to charge $400 + $35 for the labor.
The same RAM is on Crucial.com for $90 and all I need is a 00 micro phillips screwdriver.
So you see what's going on here.
I think what you should do, if your out of warranty/AppleCare, is to call up the local PC tech guy who also does Mac's and have them fix you right up.
They can offer more personalized care which you need. Clone your old drive to the new and everything.
With Apple they are overworked at the Genius Bar and just place roadblocks so you buy a new machine instead.
For instance, all new iMac's now have proprietary drive software installed on the hard drives for heat monitoring. So now the only choice a user has is to bring their iMac into a Apple Store for a very expensive drive upgrade, which a person then decides the money is better spent buying a new machine. -
Please, I am wondering if there is chance that i will be able to retreive my info. I restored from icloud. the app that did not restore is "passkeeper". It's a password storage app that works really well. Tha problem is that it did not restore.
Do you recall what you did? if you remove an extension through the Add-ons page or use Firefox's Reset feature, normally your passwords are preserved. Not sure what else would have been recommended.

If the phone has already been set up, you will need to go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to be able to go through the setup again. This time use Restore from Backup.

ThanksWhen you open the mail app in an account you can work with Time Machine in the mailboxes for that account. To deal with the mailboxes for another account you need to go out of Time Machine, make the other account active and go back in.
