My "tap to tweet" & "tap to post" buttons are gone

I Reset all the setting on my iPhone 4S yesterday, and now my tap to tweet and tap to post buttons are gone from the notification center. How do I get them back?

Somehow you've turned off "Share Widget". Go to Settings>Notifications>Share Widget--then turn from OFF to *ON*

  • My code/split/design buttons are gone. How do I get them back?

    I must have hit some command but my code/split/design buttons are gone. Also are the "live view", etc. How do I get them back.
    I looked under both the window and view tabs but couldn't find anything that retrieves them.
    Attached is a screen grab of the area that is missing.
    Could someone please tell me how to get it back
    Thanks in advance

    Right click the toolbar area and make sure there's a check by Document, or go to View > Toolbars and check it.
    EDIT: Make sure you have a document open (even a new blank one will do) or the options may not show up.

    I tried to rent a tv show today and discovered the rent buttons are gone. What Happened to them?

    Apple removed TV show rentals, citing lack of customer interest (ironic, I know).

  • Installed 10.4.8, now my yellow buttons are gone...

    After installing 10.4.8, some (not all) of the yellow "minimize window" buttons are gone. Anyone else experience this, and if so, what'd you do about it?
    Tks!
    Butch

    Hi Butch,
    Are you using any third party menubar items (haxies)? Try a safe boot holding the "shift" key.
    If this works look in System Preferences >> Accounts >> Login items and disable any third party login items.
    Let us know.

  • DNG CONVERTER 8.3 Selection Buttons are gone!!!   :(

    This question was first posted by elizabethnengland Nov 25, 2014 9:59 PM and has NOT BEEN ANSWERED.
    I now have EXACTLY the same problem.
    So I am copying and slightly editing her original question in an effort to expedite this process.
    I am using Windows Vista 32.
    elizabethnengland, did you ever resolve this in your case?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The issue I have run into is kind of hard to explain.
    I downloaded the application & it worked fine the 1st 4 times I used it.
    I closed it out,  came back to the DNG converter the next day later & now it won't work.
    I will click on the icon & unlike a normal program it doesn't pop up on the desktop. Instead, the icon will appear on the task bar & that's it.
    So I click the icon on the task bar & it does take me to the program however, all of the selection buttons are not there.
    There are either black boxes, or transparent areas showing whatever is under the program. (folder, etc. For ex. If there is no program running under, the desktop background is transparent in the program. Where the buttons should be, I can see my background.)
    I do not have the option to do anything except minimize & close. I can not pick what files I want, where to put them. Anything.
    I have deleted this program, reinstalled 8 times!!!
    I have no idea what to do next.
    PLEASE HELP!
    OFF TOPIC:
    I do not use Lightroom at all.  I tried it in its first iterations and thoroughly detested it.
    However, Adobe applications do not call on parts of each other, which is what I understand you to be saying in your last paragraph.
    Inconsistency between or among applications in the artificial "suites" should come as no surprise.
    The "suite" concept is a total fabrication of Adobe marketing and bean-counting types.  The engineering teams are totally independent of each other, they are not only in different buildings but in different cities and states of the American Union, even in different countries.
    The fact that they have little if any communication among them is highlighted by requests occasionally made in these forums by top Adobe engineers to let the other teams know when there are problems in one application that impact our workflow in another one.
  • Running FF 34.0.5 on Windows Vista OK, but on Windows 8.1all custom buttons are gone every time I close and then open Firefox
    When I open FF on Windows 8.1, buttons are always gone. I have to use customize again to add the buttons I want.
    Hi,
    Thanks for the suggestions.
    I tried many things, finally found the problem.
    It was FoxTab 1.4.9 that was stopping custom settings from being saved.
    I also tried updating FoxTab to 1.4.10 but that version also prevents custom settings from being saved. With FoxTab disabled custom settings are now saved.
    In the Add-0ns Manager for FoxTab there are many reviews about this issue. Many reviews are for 1.4.9 but 1.4.10 has issues also.
  • Goolge Toolbar Buttons are Gone After Installing FF 4
    After getting the new FireFox version 4 I see no Google buttons anymore even tho the Google Toolbar is active. It is installed and ticked and there is even a row but it's blank. When I click View ->Toolbars and untick the Google toolar the extra space is gone.
    I uninstalled the google toolbar and installed it again, tried using oldbar, and any trick I could think of but they just do not appear.
    OK, I managed to figure it out and resolve it.  For those who might encounter this problem...
    I started the project in FB 4, so when I installed the trial of 4.5, I just pointed the project to the 4.1 folder (because the 4.5 SDK caused some issues in my project).  When I uninstalled 4, the SDK was also removed.
    The solution was to download the 4.1 SDK to the 4.5 folder, then point to that.  I had an issue in that 4.1 was the default SDK, and I had a hard time getting the "Configure SDK's" dialog to open (it kept failing with an "invalid values" message.  I finally found that clicking "specific SDK" allowed me to open the dialog.
    Hope this helps someone else.
  • HT1695 My iPhone 5 will not connect to my home wireless connection.  My ipad works fine.  Now the forget this network and renew lease buttons are gone.  I have several things.  Now it won't even sync to iTunes.  Do I need to go to the apple store?
    Phone will not connect to wireless.  It's been giving me no service this week too.  The apple store is 45 minutes away and I really don't want to go.  Do I need to go there?
    Have you reset the phone by holding the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up? Then if that doesnt work, you need to restore your phone in itunes first from your backup, then if still not, then fron as new.
  • Submit buttons are gone on many websites and other sites are just messed up since 3.6.13
    Messed up: MSN Hotmail
    I have a multiple blueish overlay over the words "Inbox" & "Folders"
    The overlay has wording...more actions for Inbox or Folders/depending on which word it is laying over. (This is only in the Firefox browser)
    I wish to remove that option not knowing how it got there and it serves me no purpose.
    Several sites, and I cannot name them all so I will name one "YahooAnswers" where one answers a question and hits the "Submit" button. The submit button is now gone and there is no indication that it ever was there. The mouse "can see it" and activate the empty spot (and it is only after activation does the word "Submit" reappear.
    Both of these issues are only when I use the Firefox browser and it seem with the update version 3.6.13
    I am using XP.
    My only recourse (to me) is to kick it back to an older browser version.
    I have used Opera and there is none of this problem anywhere.
    I.E.6sp1 is clean as well.
  • Click to Tweet and Facebook Posts from Notification Center Stopped Working????!
    Ok right now I am REALLY confused. About a week ago, I went to post something on twitter. Naturally, instead of having to go to twitter.com and signing in, I used the Notification center "Click to Tweet" button to make my post. It worked just as you would expect. The little screen popped up, I typed my post and tweeted it.
    Just a few days ago, both the Tweet and Facebook Post buttons stopped working. I can click on them all I want, but the little index card-like screen never shows up. I don't know what the issue is, since I had both buttons working a few days ago. To try solving the issue I:
    1. Went into the settings for notifications and "Hid" the buttons from Notification center (that didn't work)
    2. Removed both my accounts from my laptop and re-added them (that didn't work)
    3. Checked to see that the password was correctly typed in... it was (and that still didn't work)
    The only thing I have left to do is try shutting down my laptop and restarting it. However I recently had some iPhoto software updates that required the laptop to be restarted. Even though this was after the problem started, it still didn't fix it.
    One more thing to note is that in Safari where the "Share" button is... that still works fine. I shared a website I was on to Facebook and it posted successfully. The only problem is the functions in Notification Center.
    If anybody has a solution to this issue where the Tweet and Facebook Post buttons stop functioning for Notification center, I would really appreciate it. Thanks
    - Dan (ThunderBow98)
    NOTE- One other thing. Notifications from Facebook and Twitter still work, however. For instance, I just got a friend request approved on Facebook and that appeared as it should with the little banner notification as well as it appearing in my list of notifications. Somebody re-tweated my tweet and that appeared there too. The only thing that isn't working is the posting features.
    Same thing with me but the Safari thing also doesn't work. I recently changed my twitter username so I thought that might be the problem, but no it isn't. Unfortunately, I can only complain with you, not help you, I apologize, Dan!
    What computer+ Mac os are you using? I am MacBook Pro with 10.8.4?
  • After recent update, button graphics gone?
    After the recent Safari update the all the buttons for actions are grey. It is the same in mail too. The buttons still work. I am trying to figure out if this a coincidence or not. If it isn't a coincidence, do others suffering the same problem have a solution. I am a mailtags user, and I wondered if there was any incompatibility there.
    Thanks for looking at my question. I see I wasn't specific enough. The graphics on the buttons are gone. They are only grey. I can see a picture would be useful.
  • "Tap to tweet" and "tap to post" options have gone in my notification centre
    I have the iPhone 5 and I noticed when I first had it that I did have the "tap to tweet" and "tap to post" options in my notification centre but they've somehow gone and I'm not sure why this is. Somehow the "share widget" option isn't in my notification section of settings either because apparently that's how you turn it back on! Somebody please help???
    Check Settings App > Notifications. Then scroll down to Locate the ShareWidget. The Twitter and FaceBook aps also have to be turned on (in general, but not in Notifications).
    After checking eh settings, if you still do not have those options, Ttry a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
  • When I swipe down the notification center, I can not find "tap to tweet" or "tap to post." How can I put it back?
    When I swipe down the notification center, I can not find "tap to tweet" or "tap to post." How can I put it back?
    Hi there,
    When I swipe down the notification center, I can not find "tap to tweet" or "tap to post." How can I put it back?
    I can help you with that!
    Go to Settings > Notifications > Share Widget and toggle Notification Center to ON.
    If Notification Center is OFF in the Share Widget, then the Share Widget will be located under the sub-heading "Not In Notification Center."
    If Notification Center is ON in the Share Widget, then the Share Widget will be located under the sub-heading "In Notification Center."
  • Am I the only one who wants the "tap to tweet" or "tap to post" option back? It was available on iOS6 but not 7.
    I was very disappointed when I found out you can't tap to tweet or post to facebook with the new drop down menu. I don't know if anybody else misses this easy, convinent option but I know I do.
