My templates are in spanish...or maybe french...well, something at least

whenever i open a template the writing is in french. how can i change this, it's driving me crazy not being able to read what all hte text is. there is nothing in preferences? do i just need to go learn another language?

welcome to the Pages Discussions. I think you mean the original Pages templates. This is not french but some kind of latin. It is only a "blind text", a filler for replacement. It is only for instant showing, how a layout will look with styled text without filling an entire page with your own thoughts, what would take a while longer. There is nothing of interest in that texts.

The scary language is Latin, quotes from Cicero to be precise.
It is Placeholder Text designed to show the appearance and layout of the document.
You click in it, something most people try, and it is selected. You then type to replace it.

WDK8 Templates are not loaded to VS 2013 Ultimate automatically?

I have installed the WDK8.1 and checked that a "Windows Kits" folder was created with all respective files in it.
However, in Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate the templates are still the same!
Do I need to configure them manually or what could be the problem?
PS: Platform Windows 7 64 bits, Visual Studio was installed before installing the WDK.

Please restart VS2013 then check whether the driver template appears under Visual C++ template. If still no driver template, one possible reason is WDK8.1 was not installed well, and maybe we need to configure something else to get the driver template, but

Flash CS4 Sample Templates are missing

My sample templates are missing, all that shows now are Cateregory: Advertising and different size banners. I searched my harddrive and found the rood folder where they are stored but only the folder for Advertising exist.
I haven't deleted anything, so could it have been a glitch at installation, I had startup problems with Flash constantly crashing at the splash screen and finally had to uninstall and reinstall.
Running WinXP SP3.

I do remember them being part of an earlier version maybe MX. Did some checking around as I was under the assumption they were part of CS4 due to some diagrams found on pages 264-265 of "Flash CS4: The Missing Manual". The bottom line is it is now listed in their Errata.

If that is what you are seeing, you just select it and type in your own text.

Help - Templates are not displaying in English

For some reason, the templates in Pages (as well as in iWeb) are not displaying in English -- although that's my default language on my MacBook. I would think this is something easy to fix, but I must just be overlooking something. (MS Word displays its templates in English).
Can someone please help -- it is a bit annoying that the templates are displaying in a different language. Thanks.

iWork uses a "filler" text known as Greeking to let you see how the templates look with text without having text that would distract you from the layout. This is a fairly common question, so DennisG wrote a user tip about it - Placeholder text in a foreign language.

I have installed SSDT 2012 on azure machine. After installation, VS 2012 shell application is available in the Azure machine with below details.

XML Template are not publish in EBS

I've create Invoice Voucher in BI Publisher and it's working fine in EBS. But I have to print this report from Invoice Workbench so I have done it by the help of Form Personalization but when I run this report from Invoice Workbench the template are not publishing its only generate XML.

LMS 4.0 Prequisites of baseline templates are ignored if used for direct deploy

I'm want to use baseline templates for conditionally configuring several hundert access-switches.
What I expect to work:
Write a baseline template with prerequisites and parameters and use
Configuration> Compliance> Compliance Templates> Direct Deploy
The baseline template works perfect for
Configuration> Compliance> Compliance Templates> Compliance Check
if I use regex instead of parameters
- compliant devices are detected
- commands are generated only for non compliant devices
But I don't want to enter several hundert parameters manually if
I want to deploy the job after compliance chek...
If I change the regex into a parameter then direct deploy will unconditionally
generate the commands, regardless whether the prerequisites are met or not.
Is this by design or a bug?
My task is simple:
If interface Vlan1 has an IP address matching a certain pattern I want to deploy the global command
ip default gateway [same-prefix-as-interface-vlan1].1
Like I mentioned above: the regexes are OK: compliance check works as expected
When the regexes are changed to a parameter the command ip default-gateway will
always be generated regardles wether the prequisite is met or not.
Any thoughts or insight?

Solution was simple:
In one of the old release notes (Cisco Ressource Manager Essentials, around 2009) I found a note that prerequisites in templates are not supported with direct deploy. There are no notes for newer releases but the behaviour is exactly like described.

Anybody know where the default templates are stored?

I'd like to access the location where the default templates are stored. I've checked in: "Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic" but did not find anything.
I see that user templates are in: "Macintosh HD/Users/PROFILE/Library/Application Support/Logic/Project Templates"

User Project templates are stored in the location you stated but the Default Project templates, which is what the OP asked about, are stored within the app as Blueberry stated....

How Web Templates are transported

In order to show BW Query at portal we need to create a template and need to create a Web Query in that template. I have done both.
When we create query it ask for package and request I have saved in package RS_BCT_MM_EN with request and released that request also.
Now since query is assigned with request when I release request it is transported to test system.
But when we are creating template it doesnt ask any package or request.
Since no request is asked we cant release/transport template.
As templated is not transported at test system i am getting error
template "XYZ" not found.
Now question is: how templates are transported.

Go into RSA1, go into the Transport Connection, select objects by type, choose Web Templates, and select the one you'd like to transport.
When you click the transport button, you'll be asked for a package if needed, and then for the transport to include it in. Then you can release and import the transport as you apparently already did with the query.
