My Thuderbird has stopped allowing me to add attachements from my desktop.

Today for some reason my Thunderbird will not allow me to attach documents from my desktop. I have been doing this for some time as I find it is the easiest way to attach a document to an email. When I have attached a document I move the file into it's required folder. I think the default setting is to open the most recently opened folder, but if this happens I have always been able to click on the 'back' button to go back to the desktop and find and attach the file I want. For some reason today Thunderbird has stopped listing the desktop as an option and doesn't show the desktop on the files or libraries list, and will only attach files from the most recent folder opened. There is no option to go back to the desktop. Why is this happening and how do I reset this so that Thunderbird gives me the option of attaching files from my desktop? Help !!

That's a great question. Let's get those tones back on. Here are the steps to turn on the dial tones when using the dial pad.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Sound Settings.
3. Turn on Audible Touch Tones.

Try going to "Tools" at the top of your screen. Then go to "options" and then to "applications". Scroll down the list of "Content type" until you come to Adobe Acrobat Document. Click on the "action" to the right of this line item and choose Adobe Acrobat (or whichever program you want to open the document with). And then click "OK" at the bottom of the screen.
Sometimes when you install a Firefox update, it will delete this setting, and then you have to go back in here to re-set your preferences.

I am using EBS R12, i need to allow user to add attachment from notification.
This is the scenario:
HR will submit workflow to user, this user will open the notification and the user must add attachment and then return it to HR. So can we do that?

I tried to authorize my Computer and eBookreader with a new Adobe-ID, but it says I've done used this ID too often, even though it was brandnew! Can't copy my just-purchased eBook because "Copying is not allowed".
I hold my thumbs for you that Adobe solves this Problem fast enough. Other ways I'll sell my eBookreader and buy the Kindle-Reader from Amazon and say GOOD BYE to Adobe!

Try updating to version 9.5.2. I seem to remember that one of the earlier updates did this and a later update rectified the issue. I don't have that issue with 9.5.2

I saw one post where a user said dust got inside the small microphone hole. Using a vacuum cleaner removed the dust and restored the audio.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

HT1535 my iphone is set to "manually manage music and videos" and it still does not allow me to add music from my other computers.

I have followed the steps in order to manually manage the music on my 3GS iphone. (used the latest version of itunes and my iphone is up to date with iOS5) and it still is not allowing me to add music from another computer.
when i plug it into the second computer, it is asking me to click "manually manage music and videos" again. when i do that, it says it is going to sync with this new library and erase all music that is already there. i dont want this to happen! i only want to add a few select songs from each library. I have waaayy to much to add and erase every time.
both of the computers i am using are PCs and have my itunes id for homesharing... please help me!

ACR has stopped allowing to upsize to 4113x6144 automatically

I have used ACR to upsample to 4113x6144 by years, because my camera is a little older and doesn't shoot at the capabilities I need.
This past week it has stopped working and limits the upsampling to basically nothing, it keeps it at 10.0 MP and is shrinking my images now. I have to print 12x18 for a class I am in and I just noticed this problem. Does anyone know how to get my ACR back?

The newer ACR version has a different way to specify the output size, either during Save Image or Workflow Options but your enlargement size should still be available within the constraints of the aspect ratio of your images. If you're only getting smaller than native options then check to make sure the Don't Enlarge checkbox is checked. If this doesn't look like your Workflow Options panel then please post a screenshot of yours:

I have a problem with the RFX, we did an upgrade to SRM7.0 from SRM5.0.
The RFX that existed before upgrade in the server does not allow me to add new items from catalog.
each RFx I created after the upgrade works fine.
My client needs to work with the RFx still open, add items and make bids.
I have reviewed the upgrade guide and found nothing regarding an update of purchasing documents.
I have
SRM 7.0 SPS03 EHP1
MDM 7.1 SP06
MDM catalog 3.0SP10

in SRM 5.0 the system was MDM catalog. Actually, after the upgrade , i have SRM7.01 with MDM catalog.
i donn´t know if it is about version, SP or compatability issue, but i believe the upgrade not affect the purchaser documents.
Those look as locked to modify. on tap Position, the buttom ADD LINE, only i can see Position, not anymore option like MDM catalog, free text.
it is a big problem, because the client has documents opened. i need to resolve this issue. Actually i am working in a sandbox system, but i afraid to have the same problem in PRD system after upgrade.

I'm trying to create a form for my users to fill out when they want to request my help with a project. Often times
they might have a document that they would like to submit with the request it might be a PowerPoint file, a MSWord or Excell file
I am currently using Version 7 and also have Version 8 available.
Is there a way to accomplish this.

If windows Xp or later try this HP Hardware Diagnostic Utility
Veriify the printer firware and software up to date Go Here select your OS and verify
How your printer is connected to your computer USB, Wireless, Ethernet ,ETC)
if networked check the firware of the printer is the latest as well
