MY TOOLBAR DISAPPEARED WITH THE STUPID UPDATE AND I NEED TO GET IT BACK
I don't have time to watch video's or try to figure out how to get my toolbar back.
THIS IS WHY I HATE UPDATES
they always screw something up that was fine before and so i spend a day trying to get stuff back to a usable state
STOP FORCING THESE UPDATES AND STOP SCREWING UP MY COMPUTER I
I HAVE WORK TO DO
YOU SNEAK THIS CRAP IN WITH WARNING ABOUT SECURITY UPDATES

My Firefox just updated, and suddenly unless I hold the cursor ay the top of the screen there is no toolbar, but worse, even if I hover there, annoying to be sure, the Firefox button with the drop down menu containing my bookmarks and the 'find' utility has completely vanished!
OK - I experimented and found my own way out. I hovered at the top until the toolbar appeared, then in an empty spot I right clicked and when the drop down menu appeared I clicked on cancel full screen (or something like that - it won't duplicate now!) but it stabilized the toolbar and renewed the orange Firefox button.

I updated the IPAD with the latest update and now when I turned the IPAD on, I get the itunes logo and then nothing else. How can I fix this to let me use my IPAD?
YOU ARE IN RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -

Try a Reset holding the Sleep button and the Home button together until Apple logo shows up and then wait for the Reset to return you to the lock-screen. If you still don't have service check Settings>General>About and then scroll down to Carrier and see if your Service Provider is listed.

My AppleTV (2nd gen) crashed last night with the latest update and now all I have a flashing light. What to do? It showed a USB symbol point toward an iTunes symbol and won't reset after resetting with the remote. Same thing.
usb symbol pointing toward an itunes symbol is apples way of trying to get you to connect the appletv to your computer running itunes so it can restore the apple tv's software

Im trying to install Photoshop Elements premier 12 on my new Mac with the latest update and i keep getting the same failed to initialise message. I was able to register the key code at first but now im not able to either open the program or reinstall it.
What is "Photoshop Elements Premier 12"? Do you mean Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements? Were your files copied over from a previous mac that had PSE installed on it?

I tried to update my itune with the latest update and now i can't use itune at all . I have tried reinstalling it . all get is MSVCR80.dll and then I get Error 7 (windows erreor 126) . Need help please .
Similar problem here. iTunes11 notified me it was available. However, auto-update failed. So, I downloaded for manual update. That failed with "permission" message. I am administrator on this machine (WIN7). I tried uninstalling old version, but it failed with same permission issue. I now can't start iTunes... throws permission message. So, I'm completely dead in the water. Does this stuff get tested before it's shipped?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Help. Deleted Quicktime using the Trash and I need to get it back!

Quicktime was not playing .avi files so I though I'd delete it and reinstall it to clear up the problem. So I dragged Quicktime into the trash and emptied it. When I tried to reinstall it I got a message saying that Quicktime cannot be installed on this disk because Quicktime X is already present. I need to get Quicktime back, can anybody help me please?Extract the QuickTime X player from your Mac OS X 10.6 DVD and then run the combo updater for your Mac OS X version.

If you can't play a given AVI, install Perian. If you still can't play it, it probably can't be played in Mac OS X.
