My Toshiba laptop crashed and I was wondering if there is a way to reload it through itunes

In September 2013 my laptop crashed and someone helped me recover my Itunes library (music, movies & TV). The laptop crashed again but no I think it's the motherboard and/or screen. I have a netbook that I'd like to be able to access everything again but I can't figure out how to do it.
I have my iPod (old school) and it was recently backed up so it probably has everything on it. I'm just afraid to hook it up because I don't know if it will delete everything and just load what's on iTunes now. (one album)
Would all of the information still be accessible?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Use your backup copy to put everythihg back.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod:  File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
