My touch typing won't work on phone page, but it works on messages or eMail? is there a reason for this?

When I try and type somethink on my Phone page of the iPhone it seems to have hund, yet I am able to send SMSSes, eMails, etc.? Is there a reason for this?

Firefox won't remember my passwords, even though I have told it to. Is there a fix for this? I am running Windows7

I have told Firefox to remember the password(s) I use on many different websites. It never remembers any of them. Is there a fix for this? I am using Firefox 4.0.1 and Windows 7.

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If Firefox doesn't offer to store passwords in the Password Manager then check that you aren't running Firefox in [[Private Browsing]] mode.
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

My search bar in google now turns blue and I can not see what I am typing. Why? I read somewhere it's a problem with Firefox. Is there a fix for this?

I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but one day my Google search bar turned blue when I tried typing in it. I couldn't see what I was typing. I did some research and some forums said it was a problem with Firefox. Have you heard of this? Is there a solution for it?

For me, the google search bar turns blue once I've typed in a search term, but then want to click on it again to change or add something. The entire bar turns blue. I can still type, but it's hidden. Then when I click Search, it does bring up my search results and now the terms I've written are showing in the search bar, with no blue.
The only way to get out of it when the blue is there, is to reload the page.

IPAD 3 - 3rd Party apps stop working. Only fix is to re-install each app. Is there a fix for this?

I am an IPAD 3 owner. When I install apps such as facebook, twitter, linked-in every week to two weeks the apps stop opening and the only fix is to re-install the entire app. Is there a work-around or fix for this?

Richard, you haven't mentioned if you've tried anything other than a re-install....but if it were me, the first thing I would look at is memory( and other basic) issues...using the restart/reset/restore process...

Before I updated today to Lion OS, my multiple monitors worked fine. Now my macbook will not detect them. Is there a solution for this?

I've been running multiple monitors for over a year on my Macbook. Updated today to Lion OSx and well Steve, it didn't just work. My macbook will not detect my three external monitors, and after scouring the last hour on Google of how to remedy this and trying the basic suggestions of restarting, unplugging, replugging, to no avail. Anyone else have a similar problem since they've upgraded to Lion OSx?

No. Time Machine should be on a separate HDD and will take care of deleting backups when necessary on that drive.

All Macs using Time Machine will experience the same conditions. The problem is that many users do not under stand what 'Other' is and that leads to confusion. There are many essential OS files in that category that should not be touched as well as some user files. The issue is not to reduce 'Other' as such, but reduce the total amount of data on the HDD if space is becoming a premium.

Not working either way? Do you still receive messages? If you remove them but can't send them check Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field. Set it to off.

Take it to an Apple Store and see about getting an out of warranty replacement. I believe it will run you about $150.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (Clear Cache on iOS 4) and also Clear History
If you stillc an't access Facebook via Safari then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
There are a number of Facebook apps (including an 'official' one), which might be better than accessing it via Safari

My first thought is to make sure that you are actually logged in using the same AppleID on both devices. Many folks share one AppleID for their family's iTunes Store account yet use another personal AppleID to log into iMessage settings and iCloud settings.
To confirm that the AppleID and password you are using is correct I would suggest visiting http://icloud.com and attempting to login there. If you get in, then you know for sure that that is a valid AppleID/password pair.
If that still doesn't reveal the issue then I would try opening Notes app on both iPhones, and then typing your password out where it can be seen clearly. This may reveal if your are typing it differently due to iOS 8 changes in the shift key indicator, or possibly that a screen protector or case is causing your touches to not register the same on both devices.

I had the same thing yesterday. After google gave me nothing and after I was sure my phone had enough charge to restart, I did a reset on my phone...
Holding down the Power button, volume button and selector button on the front - for about 30 secs (or untill I knew the beeping had stopped).
I cant remember if I then restarted it or it it restarted itself, but now its back to normal! No memory loss from the phone either.
Freeked me out as its a new iphone 4s but glad to have it back! Without having to take it to get fixed by a pro.
