My trackpad keeps quitting and I need to reinstall it

For no reason that I can identify my trackpad stops working and I need to set it up again. I have plenty of battery power, and it is close to the computer. It seems to happen when I am on Safari. I have OSX 10.9.2 on an iMac. It has stopped twice while I have written this message.

Operating System - Windows or Mac?
Version of CS6 - are you fully patched to the latest version (Help>Updates)?
Do you use any 3rd Party Plugins (Help>Manage Extensions and look for 3rd Party Plugins)
At what point does it crash? How are you exorting/printing?
What file type or action are you doing when it's crashing?

this is what you need to do to exclude everything apart from desktop.
on time machine preferences, click on Options
click plus sign, on the new window, click macintosh HD
do a Control + A then deselect users then click okay
go to options again, plus sign, go to users, control +A then deselect your user account
go to options again, plus sign, go to your user account, control + A, deselect desktop
start the back up.

Uninstalled Acrobat Pro (part of CS 5.5 Design Standard) and now need to reinstall. How??

I am so confused. I have CS 5.5 Design Standard running on a Windows 7 computer. I have the serial number. The problem is, I stupidly uninstalled Acrobat Pro and now need to reinstall it. What do I do? I downloaded Acrobat Pro X from the download link on the Adobe site but it won't take my serial number. I am guessing because the serial number pertains to the entire Creative Suite, not just Acrobat.

I own a copy of CS3 and I need to reinstall onto an old MacBook. I purchased the Suite in 2008 and have been happily using it for years without issue. However I had to reinstall the entire operating system and this has fried my optical drive, so I cannot remount the software via disks. Is it possible to download this version direct to OSX? As I say, my Optical Drive has died and the Mac is VERY old, but a direct download would work...
