Have you checked all of the Preferences you have set up for TrackPad? Is it possible that you have the "Three Finger Drag" option on? If so, then turn it off....

Sounds like you can't update your device. You don't mention an error that it gives you. Take a look at both of these articles to troubleshoot.

If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

allison i had the same problem to but then i figured out! You have to put in a credit card number so you can purchase a game thats free or 0.99 cents or higher then you have to fill in other stuff then press next on your ipod touch or computer then it says you have succesifully created an apple id! DVD and CD sharing will not let you play or share DVD movies and audio CD's. Does any one know of a way to get music from a CD on a MacBook Pro wirelessly to an iMac?
I cannot find the eMac install disk, and I haven't been able to get it to start up from my 10.3 CDRm (holding down option or c), though I read something somewhere about these not being able to start up from system folders earlier than those they shipped with. I've dealt with this sort of thing several times before, and it always seemed to work to simply use target disk mode.
It definitely won't start up fromt the 10.5 DVD-R, and I'm pretty sure I tried putting the MBP into TM to use its optical drive as well, but it didn't work. But it's worth trying again, and I appreciate your input greatly. -

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

Photos 10.10.3 will not let me play or move my videos and keeps sending a message saying "can not find file". What do I do to get the videos back? It is only during videos that I previously uploaded off my phone. It loads them and tells me how long they are but when I go to press play it says can not find file. I have restarted my computer, what else can I do?
Check the information on the song, Right-Click -> Get Info.
In the fist pane, (Summary), you will see the AppleId (Account Name) that was used to buy the song.
Be sure to login to use this account to register this computer to play the song
What I often see, Is that people have many different AppleID, sometime not even knowing it, which is a big problem. -

Once software is installed on your computer, you can usually launch by clicking the icon on your computer's desktop. Or by looking inside Start > Programs (Win) or Applications Folder (Mac).

My ipo will not let me download apps or sync them either.
There are a million ppl having this problem right now and it seems like Apple is ignoring it. It's been real bad since May, even worse that last week or so. Basically all we can do is sit and wait to see what excuse or help, if any, will be given. I've used a Walmart pre-paid card and I'm sorry, but who really incorrectly types a 3 digit number a million times?! Also my account is saying I owe iTunes $40 for in-app purchases. Bull!! My card sends me a balance twice a day via text and because of this, I know what, where, and how my money is being spent. Also it's pre-paid, how can you have an over draft?!?! Here's a real kicker though...my card balance is in the positive!!! Hmmm, obviously not a fault on my part, the part of my card, nor my iPod. It's all in the system!!!

My computer's anti-virus software recently expired. A few days later, I went to download a new anti-virus software . . . when I opened up Firefox, I received a warning that claimed Firefox was infected with "Trojan-BNK.Win32.Keylogger.gen", and gave me two options: "Activate XP Security 2011 (recommended)" (this was a $60 charge and required credit card info) or "Continue unprotected (Dangerous)"
Since I needed to install new anti-virus, I figured I would continue unprotected, download my new software quickly, and remove the virus. But when Firefox opened, it gave me a message saying: "Firefox alert. Visiting this site may pose a security threat to your system!". Gave me three options:
1. "Get a copy of 'XP Security 2011' to safeguard your PC while surfing the web (RECOMMENDED)"
2. "Run a spyware, virus and malware scan" (I already did this)
3. "Continue surfing without any security measures (DANGEROUS)"
I tried clicking on different links, but the same warning kept showing up, even on verified and safe sites. I tried to choose the third option so that I could download my anti-virus software quickly, but nothing happened when I clicked on it - the page reloads and the warning shows up again.
My computer is still without anti-virus software because Firefox will not let me surf the internet. Please help!It sounds as though your PC is infected with fake antivirus software. The detailed cleanup instructions vary depending on which fake AV you have. However, as a first step, try this:
Download the following on a different PC, copy them to a USB flash drive or CD, and then run them on the infected PC:

Hopefully these will get you back online safely. If not, search for clean-up instructions for the specific malware. -

Since updating my Imac 27" 8 month old computer it will not let me open up any programs including safiri and iphoto. it is pretty much saying that i need to install all the program again, which i can not afford nor have the time too. can someone please help me be able to get it back to the way it was or help me to fix it so i can keep using it with this software update
For starters, you could boot from the OS X install DVD that came with your iMac (insert the disk, reboot and hold down the "C" key after the bong). On that disk is Disk Utility; run that, choose the iMac's hard disk, and run Repair Disk. If errors are found and repaired, try running it again until it's deemed OK.
If that doesn't help, try to get the OS 10.6.8 combo updater from Apple and run that. It will replace a lot of the Apple software that's already on your iMac and may refresh things so that they'll work. -

I have an Iphone 4S and It won't let me watch videos on my safari, which I do everyday. It says that I am connectef to a tv, yet I have not connected it to a tv during the entire time i've owned this product. I have not connected it to anything bluetooth either. Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.

I have nmot been able to rent a movie from my apple TV. I am logged into iTunes. When I try and rent a movie it tells me that I need to varify payment on my computer. Check you are using the correct location in the Apple TV store settings.
Try changing a few details and changing them back before updating when you verify in iTunes, also check that your details are correct (ie that you have filled the state field out properly and so on)
Rentals don't just show up on the Apple TV when you have rented then on your mac/PC,you need to transfer them.
