My Trial CC " Serial Number "

My CC apps keep telling me to "enter a serial number" when I launch the apps. I have the 30 day free trial downloaded, and my account is linked with the apps. Any tips? please help

If your version is current you can contact Adobe, give up your old license and get a platform transfer. Apparently free, just not automatic. Not available for older versions; status of CS6 uncertain.
I don't know why your Photoshop JPEGs would be unopenable unless it's a naming thing. Make sure you don't take the .jpg off the name or put anything AFTER, the Mac is very unforgiving of that.
But, while saving as JPEG saves a high quality file for pro use, it isn't best for putting on the web as it's too big. Use Save For Web instead, also gives more control and previews showing the final image quality. But be sure to reduce image size FIRST.

    I've just downloaded the Trial version of Adobe Illustratot and the Setup is now asking for the Serial Number. How or where do I obtain this?

    To use the trial does not require a serial number - you get a serial number when you purchase the software.  If you are not being offered to continue the trial when you open the software, either you did not download an actual trial version or the trial has prenaturely expired.

  • LR 5 Trial and Serial Number

    I have a TRIAL VERSION of LR 5. It expired today. I just joined CC.
    LR5 is asking me for a Serial Number when I try to open it.
    How do I get LR 5 to recognize my CC membership?
    I also had a Photoshop CC trial on my computer which was expired, but that software has a button that says
    "License Software" and clicking on that allows me to sign in with CC membership, the Photoshop CC software recognized that and allowed me access.
    How do I get LR 5 to do the same?
    There is much I do not understand about the way Adobe does things. For instance if I go into Photoshop CC folder in Applications, there is an UNINSTALL option. I see no such option for LR 5 so that I could theoretically delete that and then reinstall LR from CC.
    There's something to be said for consistency in terms of ease of use by consumers.
    If someone could tell me how to get past the Serial Number Request with LR5 and get it to recognize my CC Membership that would be grealty appreciate. Just tried calling Adobe Support and the wait is nearly an hour.

    Please navigate to Application/Utilities/Adobe Installers and look for Lightroom uninstaller and uninstall it. Run the CC cleaner tool to remove any leftover ruminants of Lightroom: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html .
    Try installing Lightroom again from CC desktop.
    Please let us know whether it worked.

  • CS5 master collection trial with serial number!

    So i bought CS5 MC and i have the download one. Its not working right. So i was wondering....if i downloaded the trial and just put in the serial code will i still get everything or will i just get the trial version with stuff missing?

    It's not working right is hardly giving us anything to go on.
    What I can tell you is that the demo is fully functional and adding the serial number to license it won't fix anything that's broken.

    My office owns CS6 Creative Suite.
    I needed to get After Effects CC for work so we downloaded Creative Cloud and then bought/downloaded After Effects CC onto my computer.
    However- once we did this, my CS6 started asking to "continue trial" or for a "serial number"- but these are already owned applications. I cannot even get into them any more because of this.
    This is a PC.
    Does anyone know the solution to this?

    I downloaded the TRIAL version of CS6, and at about 70% the way complete, I get a dialog box that wants a serial number. That same dialog box says I have "00" days remaining in my trial.
    What is going on here?

    I have tried 8 times now to download and install the TRIAL
    version of RoboHelp 7 on my PC. Each time it asks me for a serial
    number. I do not get a splash page to select trial version versus
    "I have a serial number" or anything.
    I called "customer service" and the guy I talked to (Jason)
    told me to delete the old files I'd downloaded, restart my
    computer, then sign up with a different email address and try
    again. I tried it and it didn't work. I've now tried 8 different
    email addresses and I'm out. :)
    I am supposed to do a project for work here in the next week
    and it takes longer than that for the regular version to be
    purchased by the powers that be.
    Any other suggestions? Do you have multiple servers from
    which to download and perhaps the download on one of those servers
    only has the "real" version? Is there a URL I can go to directly to
    download the actual trial version? I know it's possible because I
    did it at home.

    I only wish the people in "customer service" would have told
    me that when I called them to begin with. It would have saved me a
    bottle of Excedrin and many hours of screaming in frustration.
    I am getting RoboHelp 7, but the process takes a long time. I
    was hoping to start contributing sooner, but I guess I won't.
    Notice I had to select a new Nickname for the forum. After
    using 8 different emails to try to get the download to work I've
    forgotten which email goes with which nickname! This will make a
    funny story to tell people when I can view it in hindsight.

  • Bought full version, but insist it is trial. no serial number + error message + customer support

    1. I just bought a full version 12 year subscription, after first downloading a trial version. It now insists on remaining a trial version, and ask me to submit a serial number. I can not find it.
    2. I have made a combined pdf, and edited text into it. This worked until page 70. Now I keep getting an error message, and it won't allow me to edit more text. I use a Mac OS X 10.9.2
    3. Is this actually the customer support that adobe offers?

    Then i get a serial key and i install it on my systems.
    So it run under OX10.08 on my macbook pro late 2008.
    I bought a new macbook pro and what i must do, to get my iworks on the new one?

    To start with, if you didn't purchase a family pack license, the Apple end-user software license limits the installation to one Mac at a time. If you didn't get the family pack license, you're better off buy the iWork apps you need through the Mac App Store. You can then install them on any Mac meeting the system requirements using your Apple ID & password.

  • Installed Aperture 3 then asks for Trial Aperture serial number, why?

    I did try the Aperture 3 trial before buying Aperture 3 and installed on my Macbook Pro. I had no problems installing on my iMac which I didn't us the Aperture 3 trial. I've tried pulling the Aperture System ID out of the ProApps folder to my desktop but it didn't work. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thanks

    the thing which cracked it seemed to be removing the com.apple.RegAperture.plist file. Note however that in Lion this will be hidden in the by default in the Finder (Libraries Folder). I used the free utility from http://nicholasworkshop.co.cc to reveal the hidden files.

  • Trial mode and serial number issue with Creative Cloud

    Hello,
    I recently bought a CC membership but I seem to be getting the same trial mode/serial number window others have been receiving when trying to open a Creative Cloud app. I've already spoken with two Adobe techs without any resolves. I've uninstalled and reinstalled CC, I renamed an OOBE file that the tech suggested I do and looked into the Language preferences. I'm on an iMac 10.8.4.
    I'm really not technically minded but to me it seems like something continues to read my original CS6 trial I had previously. I've since uninstalled it but something remains perhaps My only thoughts at this point would be to make sure I have any recent files backed up then perhaps use Time Machine and revert back to before I installed CC then try installing again OR do the trial and hope once the 30 days are up it will read my paid account.
    I would really appriciate any feedback. I've used far too many excuses at work having missed deadlines due to this issue.

    Okay, I think I have it solved *fingers crossed* by following this:
    Mac:
    1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
    2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
    3. Remove the entries and save the file
    4.  try again launching any product from CS6

    I did a backup of the hosts file and labelled it "hosts-backup" and put it on my desktop, then made another copy of the hosts file (since you can't alter the original). This time I removed ALL the Adobe entries and named the file "hosts", and saved that to the desktop. I then replaced the original hosts file with the altered saved version by dragging it into the etc folder.
    I started up Flash cc and it worked! I've since downloaded PS cc and it's opened as well. I just hope it continues to function...

  • Moving from trial to full version.  Serial number not valid?

    Trial version will not accept new serial number for authorization. 
    I bought the full version today from the Apple store (for $99 -- I guess I spent too much due to it being $79 on the App Store).  Apple sent me the new serial number, but Aperture won't accept with the trial version serial number or the new serial number.  What is going on?

    While you're at it, you should see if they will just refund your money then you could go to the App Store and get it for $80.
    If the above number doesn't work the web page Contact Apple might help.

    Since all Adobe software is downloadable as a free trial, the Serial Number is what you are purchasing, and it identifies itself with YOU (IF you register your purchase, that is).
    Moral of the story: "always keep your original software materials."

    I have an active cloud membership but I am stuck in trial/activation/serial number limbo. This is quite frustrating. From day 1 a trial popup appeared which I hoped was some kind of bug an update would fix. Now the trial (!!) has expired and it asks me for a serial number. Tried to deactive with another app but was disabled in help. I did all installations via the application manager. This is a clean install on this Mac. I used on signup an old CS4 licence I have for the discount.

    If updating the AAM doesnt work then please check the Hosts File.
    You need to look for Adobe Entries in the Hosts File and if found please delete them.
    Click Go/Go To Folder/ type (/etc) and look for Hosts file.
