My Two bits on BB OS and QNX
Samsung just released an update for their SIII and all Rogers customers are having issues with their phones now. Problems with OS are not exclusive to anyone company. Remember when iOS6 came out, how many issues were present there! Yes it is upsetting and they will get fixed, we must be patient. You have to remember this was a ground up build and the potential that exists within the QNX OS is massive. I truly believe this will be an OS that sets an example in the near future for all others to come. I have faith in Blackberry and will stand by them as long as they stand by us. I have friends that have iPhone 5's and Galaxy SIII's, they like there phones, but they both have their quirks. I just helped one out yesterday with her auto brightness control for her iPhone, works, but a quirky set up. Another friend who has an SIII, he likes his phone but he has to turn his data off until he needs, disconnects from wifi, bluetooth just to make it through the day before his battery dies, (he is by the way now looking at the Z10 after having played with mine). I am not against any phone company, I love technology and find it exciting. You will have the loyalists to their phones as you do with camera systems like Canon vs. Nikon or Ford vs GMC. People become passionite about their possessions and there is nothing wrong with that. Just do it in a way that does not demean others and be cordial.

Handbrake and MediaFork are now the same application... though they seem to keep switching between names. The MediaFork name was used for v0.8.0b1... but Handbrake is being used for v0.8.5b1. Either way, same app

On Win 7 64 bit, Firefox 7, 8 and Nightly all refuse to see Flash. I have uninstalled, installed Flash 11 several times.

Creating a two bit multiplexer
Hello,
How could two bit multiplexer could be created using labview.
That is there would be four inputs and one output.
The control of this should be numerically i.e when the numeric select control has input 1, the first input goes to the output and when it has 2 the second input goes to the output and so on.
I think that its not very difficult but needs an idea to be picked for the solution.

there might be several option, depending on what your "real" application should do at the end.
First question:
Is it fixed in your app, that you have 4 single values
Attached you´ll find two examples of how a kind of multiplexing could be done, if your selector is a numeric value.
Option1:
Build an array of the 4 values, and then use the "Index Array" function for selecting one of the data points and give it to the output.
-> Very easy to add new input lines to this "multiplexer"
-> Remember that array indexing starts at index =, if you want to give the user a selection from 1 on.. yo have to decrement this for reading element at position 0 (which is the first in the array).
Option2:
Use a kind of case structure.
This is useful, when - depending on your selection, only one part of the code should be executed for saving processing time etc..
i.e. You have 4 devices connected via serial connection, depending on your multiplexer choice, you read one value from one of the devices:

1) I work on a Mac and use Dreamweaver 8. Often I like to
embed Flash objects into a page and I do this by using
Dreamweaver's INSERT > MEDIA > FLASH. However, the SWF file
doesn't show up on the published web page and I’ve never had
this issue using previous versions, so I’m not sure what to
do? Here's what Dreamweaver generates when I use their INSERT
feature:

It seems a bit weird that the SWF file is not showing
considering Flash & Dreamweaver are the most compatible apps,
no? I’m assuming if Dreamweaver is generating this code it
should work, no?

It works. Most likely you have not uploaded the Scripts
folder referenced
in the head of the page.

Managing two bit-rates per song
Is there an easy way to manage two bit-rates per song? I wish iTunes would do this itself, under the covers. Similar to versions in Aperture. What I want is to keep an Apple Lossless version for Apple TV, but have a low bit-rate version for my iPhone and iPod (due to space limitations). I know I can store two versions of the same song but they are treated as two songs, so if I change a rating or a keyword it happens only to the one song. Or I have to manage two versions of the same playlist. Etc.
The short answer is no, theres no good way to do what you want. This has been a shortcoming of iTunes for years. Those of us interested in having a lossless library were forced to use lossless on out mobile devices, which doesn't make sense at all, or to maintain two parallel libraries.
What you guys really want is called on the fly transcoding. The idea is you store a high quality version (ideally lossless) of the track on your computer and that when this track is to be synced to a device it is transcoded to a more efficient format.
This is something that most media players have been doing for years, and yet Apple shows no interest in implementing such a feature.

i purchased two songs on my iphone and it did sync with itunes. Then i put the two new songs in a music folder and it won't sync the songs to the folder on my iphone. same phone same computer never had this problem before.
In iTunes, try signing out of your Apple ID & then back in: click on iTunes Store on the left sidebar of iTunes, click on your Apple ID on the top right, sign out, sign back in. Then try to sync your purchased music to your phone again.

Create two or more data sources and mapping to DSO

I´m using SAP Netweaver BI 7.0.
If there are two or three data sources which have to be mapped to DSO which field from Data Sources has to be mapped to which field in DSO?
Is it possible to have only one DSO or should it be three DSOs because of the three Data Sources?
The thing is I have created one view out of three tables. For the view I have created one DSO. Everything worked fine. But now the requirements have changed because of currencies.
The view I have created is now mixing currencies because in the view is only one currency field, which is filled from the three tables. Two tables have different currencies and one table has one currency.
The one currency of the one table is important and should stay like it is.
I´m thinking about something like three different currency key fields in DSO which are mapped from data source. Also for every field of data source mapping with corresponding field in DSO.
Some hints? I have found articles in SDN about creating data sources and so on but they don´t help me in this matter.

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
I have photoshop CC. I cannot open two files such as Tiffs and view them side by side. When I open the second file it overrides the first. Do I need to do something with preferences?

You can setup photoshop cc to be like photoshop cs2 was on your other mac, by going to Photoshop>Preferences>Interface and unchecking

What you need to do is both use the same Apple ID for iTunes content, but separate Apple ID's for everything else. So, you keep your existing Apple ID. If not a verifiable email address, you will need to create a new Apple ID for yourself. You also create an Apple ID for your wife, again a verifiable email address. You use the existing Apple ID for all iTunes content. The new Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc. Here's how to create an Apple ID:

I have set up two users, one for myself and one for children. The computer automatically logs in for the children with no password required. When the children go to spotlight and type in a search criteria all of my files show and open up. How do I prevent this?
Log in to your account, and move all your files to your home folder. No other users should be able to access them there and they won't show up with a Spotlight search.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?
