My upgrade and phone number has been reversed back to orange..no signal

Hi My contract and number were reversed from EE back to Orange on the 9th July I've gone back to a iphone 4s after the wrong upgrade handset was sent out...an iphone 6. I still have no signal.  The text I received from EE said this would be done on the 9th and no-one I speak to at CS seems to be able to help. Can anyone advise? Thanks Neil

Are you using the old Orange SIM card?
Have you tried to reset the network settings as below:
Note: Resetting the network settings will clear all WiFi passwords and refresh device network connections.
From the home screen, tap Settings.
Scroll down to, then tap General.
Scroll down to, then tap Reset.
Tap Reset Network Settings.
Tap Reset Network Settings to confirm.
Note: If a security code is enabled, this will need to be entered between steps 4 and 5.

    Yes, if you don't bother to change your password. You may also want to seriously consider turning on two step authentication.

    I would really appreciate some advice.
    My mother’s phone number suddenly changed a few days ago. BT says it will take weeks to get it changed back, and tell her that she has to reapply as a new customer and set up a new direct debit agreement. She’s been in the same house with the same number for almost 50 years, a BT customer since BT was invented, and there’s no reason for this to have happened. 
    When she first noticed the problem (people couldn’t contact her as her number was ‘not recognised’, but she could still phone out) she contacted BT and was told that her old number would be reconnected the next day (on 8th Sept) but that didn’t happen. Luckily she had the presence of mind to ask BT what number she appeared to be phoning from, to find out what her 'new' number is.
    Today she’s been on the phone to BT for hours (mostly on hold, being cut off, etc). Now she's being told that she cancelled her contract, which is not the case (and in any case, why does she have this new number, and why was she told something quite different when she first called?). 
    Is there anything you can suggest to get her old number back quickly? If she does have to reapply as a ‘new customer’ can she be sure of getting her original number back?  My mother is in her 80s and I am really upset that she is being put through this.

    Oh dear, one of those phantom disconnections. You know they are actually so common BT have a specialist department that deals with them. I think they are called Priority Back in Service, there is no actual phone number you can ring them on, you have to call 150 as normal and the customer service team are supposed to raise the issue with them to sort out.
    You could contact that Mods but they sometimes take 3 days to reply, especially with it being the weekend.

    Hi having a big problem with this!
    Two weeks ago we stopped being able to recieve incoming calls, it would just ring and ring but still had a dial tone and could call out. We tested with a different phone, checked that our number showed when making outgoing calls. Phoned up BT and an engineer came out and said he got everything working and left. Tried to call our number, still just rang and rang. Called up BT again and they then sent another engineer out as no notes had been left. During the time between engineers everytime we tried to call our number it now stopped ringing and would just get the wrong number dialed beeps. Second guy turns up and asks if we are definatly with BT, bit odd I thought - he said if you call that number a guy answers who is with Virgin and has had the number for two days. Sure enough I rang our number and some block answered. I make a call off our line and sure enough I can still call out from the same number. I am now stuck on what to do - I have called the helpline number several times, each time I get told there are no notes on the system, no notes left by the engineers, every time I have to explain my story and have promises of calls back. Everytime I get asked would you like a new number as it would be easier - no I don't want a new number I want my number! Is there a number I can call to actually get some help? Also how the heck did Virgin manage to use my number?

    You're in the wrong forum.
    Try changing your iCloud preferences. Sounds like your son entered his Apple ID in the iCloud account information instead of yours.

The font has been changed to a very narrow typeface and the greyscale has been altered to reduce contrast. The background is now grey as well rather than white. The accessibility options permit only three choices. First, increase type size. With the the low greyscale, thin typeface, increasing type size makes it HARDER to read. There is no option for contrast enhancement. Third, the background switch options suffers from the same deficit as the white background. The third choice is to enhance brightness but without the option to change contrast, this is useless. Am I missing something? Can this be fixed? How? When? Are you planning a similar negative "update"/change to other devices?

    I am having the same problem. I have gone through every setting, set the bold font, contrast, larger font....everything I could find in any post to try and help - and between the new color scheme that makes it virtually impossible to use the pictures of my grandchildren as background (the picture colors now become the theme colors - which now match the colors of many of the "flat" icons...) I am finding the phone very difficult to use--espeically things like the calendar which has now become very hard to "see" and use. If I can't revert this thing to iOS6, I may have to get a different phone.

    Hey, There are afew things you can try.
    - Simply turn your phone off and back on again
    - Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
    - Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
    this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
    - Close all open applications

    A month ago I received a spoofed call at 6A - obviously I was not happy. Came from 000-0000000 as I recall.
    Tonight I had two irate people call me minutes apart saying I called them - I was eating dinner with my wife with my phone turned off in our eye-sight.
    I cannot believe that we allow spoofing software and spoof cards these days, with only a crime if someone asks for money or does some similar fraudulent activity.
