My usb cable has poor charging connection
My usb cable has poor charging connection after use for three months. I have 5s, ipad mini, iphone 5. All three cables has problems for charging.
I hope i could get a change from apple.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

I have an iMac running OS X 10.8.3 and have connected an Epson Workforce 2540 printed that is allegedly Airprint enabled. I can connect and print with a USB cable but can't connect via Airprint. My colleague running 10.7 can. Is this a feature of 10.8? Any ideas for a fix?
iOS devices use AirPrint to connect to a supported printer. OS X will use Bonjour to locate and connect to the same printer.
With the Epson connected to your wireless router, when you open Print & Scan and click the plus button to add, does the Epson appear in a small box with a heading of Nearby Printers?
If not and a window appears showing Default, Fax, IP and Windows in the toolbar, do you see the Epson with the Default view selected? -
I have 3 Dell laptops at home and I am unable to connect my iPad 1 to any of them using the USB cable. If I connect the iPad to any Apple computer using the same USB cable, it works perfectly. I have installed the latest versions of iTunes and iOS, but still no luck. Apple Store Geniuses helped me determine that it wasn't my iPad causing the problem, but were less helpful when it came to dealing with non-Apple devices.
Options?Does the OS see the iPad at all? In other words does it show up in either the My Computer or Device Manager?
I've had problems in the past where I had to modify the registry to get my son's iPod to sync with a particular HP laptop.
If it doesn't show up at all have your tried using an external hub (with or without power)? -
IPod will not connect to iTunes. USB cable works (iPod charges)
I can drag and drop files into the iPod and everything. However, it just won't let me do anything under the "Version" tab. I cannot do a system restore or see what version I have. It says it needs a USB cable...but I have 2 and they both work since when I put it in the iPod beeps and charges.
Why won't itunes allow me to restore?Okay, try this:
Click Start, then type "Device Manager"
In the resulting window that comes up, find your iPod driver and delete it by clicking the red "x" icon in the action pane.
After that restart your computer and your iPod, unplugging your iPod in the process.
When you turn you computer and your iPod, plug in your iPod after loggin in.
This should get your iPod working.
After this, I don't know what to do although I can do further research if need be. -
Hi everybody, I got my Zen Microphoto last week, charged it up using the supplied USB cable, transferred a bunch of music and a few photos, all is well. However, the USB cable seems to be a very sloppy fit in the socket on the ZMP; if I move the cable when charging or transferring then I can lose the connection. Has anybody else experienced this? It's not the fault of the supplied cable, as the AC adapter I bought (original Creative) is just the same sloppy fit.
Never seen this before, all my camera cables fit good and tight in their sockets.
Comments, anyone? Do I need to send my lovely ZMP back?Try a different cable. If it dosen't give you that problem you probably just got a bad one. I never experienced this problem with mine so it might just be the one that came with yours.

Can I use logic remote with a USB cable rather than wifi connection?

You are mistaken..
The iPad does support a USB to Mac connection.. use the Camera Connection kit for iPads 2/3 and the USB connector for iPad 4s or later...to achieve this...

Try to get it to recognize it by using DFU Mode. Then restore.

Exploit? - My iPod Shuffle 4G USB cable has IC's in its Type-A plug end
I purchased a cable for a Shuffle 4G and as a result of the cover from its Type-A USB connector-end coming loose I noticed some unexpected and potentially alarming chips installed on a PCB concealed within the connector cover.
This may be quite normal but to allay any fears I would like to know if the iPod Shuffle 4G's sync cable is 'active' - that is it understood that it will contain some electronics.
I want to assure myself that this cable isn't a USB Exploit device.It's probably legitimate. I've taken apart the little "dock" for the 2nd generation Shuffle, and it contains a circuit board with a dozen or so components. They appear to be mostly passive (resistors and capacitors), not ICs, so it may not be "active" in the usual electronics sense of the word, but it clearly isn't just a plug and some wire. Thus, I would not be surprised to find electronics in the 4th generation USB cable.
Think about what the cable has to do. One end presents a standard USB "A" plug interface, with standard power and data in/out impedances and voltage levels. The other end plugs into a jack on the Shuffle that is a headphone output most of the time, and which might actually be playing audio at the time the USB cable is plugged in. So a certain amount of electrical isolation between the two interfaces is a good idea.

Your current car charger for the original iPhone will never work with the iPhone 3G because the firewire pins were removed from the iPhone 3G dock port at the bottom.

Your iPhone is in recovery mode, You need to connect to iTunes in order to recover your phone. Once you do that, you will not have to connect it into your itunes again.
