My Verizon account website will not open
does not let me add text to my verizon website. This adding text feature works well on internet explorer. I can click on add text, the box opens up but I can not type in the box for some unknown reason. What can be done to correct this problem ...
Try using Firefox's Safe Mode to disable the add-on.
First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, start Firefox in Firefox
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] and temporarily disable add-ons so you can uninstall the problem one.

Google, Yahoo, and very random websites will not open
Google.com will not open, yahoo will not open and anything google- or yahoo-related will not open (including their search engines, which is killing me) as well as very random websites. Other websites open immediately. This is happening exactly the same on both Firefox and Safari.
Mac OS 10.6.8. The other iMac in the house (OS 10.7.5) is working fine as well as our Macbook, iPad, and three iPhones. I believe the problem started after we changed Verizon modems and wi-fi networks, but I cannot be sure, and I don't understand why the other devices/machines would not also be effected. There is no spyware that I know of installed on this problem machine. When I do a repair verification on the Utility Disk I get a lot of messages that read in different variations of the following: Warning:SUID file"System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contens/MacOs/Ar dAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.It is the same with the other accounts on the machine, but not with any other Mac device in my house, including another iMac. I have a few domain computers that cannot open any webpages, 90% will not open. MSN CBS ABC NBC none of these pages will open. nothing loads on the page, it says connecting to.. If I click work offline, the page will load minus and video or pictures. just a format and wording appears.
I have cleaned cookies, reset to default, safe mode, rebooted, checked the firewall, checked the domain controller, re-installed, turned off IP V6, I followed every troubleshooting guide i can find. i check the network settings, check proxy, checked DNS, If i click help and try to get an update from Firefox, it just sits there at like 2.5 KB and says downloading forever.

Certain links/pages in a website will not open.
My wife has an iPad 2 running iOS 6.1 and I use the original iPad running 5.1.1 - both work perfectly on the same wifi network. Since this morning however on the iPad 2 my wife can open www.guardian.co.uk but then the links to some pages do not open (but will open in a separate tab) - other websites work normally. Yet sitting on the other sofa I have no problems with same website on my original iPad and have no problems opening any link. The only difference I can see are the different versions of iOS. Any ideas?

Apple website will not open on new laptop
Hello, i have just bought a new laptop, and it is working fine, but it is not opening the apple website properly, the page is not downloaded properly and appears partially with broken links. I have checked my internet connection on another computer and it opens it up fine. What could be causing this and how do i resolve it?

Fillable Form posted to website will not open web links in new window-wipes out data
Using Adobe Pro X, have a link to open a web link, but this is posted to our website and when a user clicks on the link, it does not open in a new window, so when they go back to the form, all the typed data is gone. I do not see an option for the link to open in a new window. Help!

I tested it with Firefox, which does not support filling in of forms and makes you open it with adobe reader, which it fine once you get to that point since you are no longer on the web. I have Adobe Reader XI. I am not aware of any clipboard policy.
I have actually found a fix that requires a java script that solves the issue.
Under link properties/Actions/Run a JavaScript-input the below.

To truly fix this issue, I believe there needs to be an option of "in a new window" when you choose "Open a Web Link".

AppleCare tried to help, but since Safari is working fine on both accounts, they said the problem was with Firefox on the personal account and they could not help me any further than what they already tried I do not want to lost it on my business account as well.

Website will not open correctly
I haev a website that that I use with no issues on my Desktop computer, but when I open webite on the ipad some things don't work, and the owner of the site says it's Safari. Anybody have a solution?
Different browsers sometimes display sites differently, especially if the website creator hasn't bothered to test the site in different browsers when developing it.
Sounds like the website owner hasn't bothered to test his site in the most popular mobile browser on the planet. Possibly he just tested it in one browser and nothing else.
The only person that can fix this website to work in different browsers is the website owner/creator.
Safari is one of the most standards compliant browsers available - so if it doesn't work in Safari properly, the website creator probably doesn't know what he is doing. -
Links on websites will not open unless I right click and open in new tab/ window
This just started yesterday. Whenever I go to a website I am unable to just click on a link on the page and be directed. When the mouse goes over the link the info appears in the bottom bar but when I click nothing happens. In order to navigate to the link I have to right click and open in a new tab or page.
Please help on fixing this issue.

Typically, I have to use the default android internet app to view pdf files on my android. The last page I tried was my progressive website to view my policy documents. Firefox just does nothing when I click on a pdf file. When I go to the download folder, the file is there but has 0kb size (or empty). The default android app goes right to download and shows up in the top android status menu showing it is downloading.
This problem has been around for a long time now and is still not resolved.Here is one I just tried. It works on my ipad2. When using my android, the file shows up in the download folder, but as usual it is an empty file. Even when the pop for "view file in cloud viewer" is choosen, it loads a blank page.

A page on a website will not open. Most everything else will excpet this one page on the website.
The page sits and tells me it is loading and never does. The webpage has other places that work fine.
HAVE had similar experiences:
1. doubt it is a firefox issue. 2. The server could be having problems finding the page (whose name is valid, thus no 404), but un-retrievable due to OS or hardware problems (infinite search loop). 3. Waiting for a display tool like Adobe Acrobat Reader to be loaded for PDF files; start Acrobat and check your downloads and click on the list item wanted; usually it is automatic unless you turned off the linkage relationship. 4. Same applies to DOC/docx, png/jpg and mp3/mp4 files. WAYS to figure out the problem: 1. drop the last section from the URL, go there and look for a newer link to the file you want. 2. check whois.net to make sure the website is a safe place to visit (some mal-sites fake a stalling search in order to download malware in the backgound). 3. google the same information you want and seek it at another URL. good luck. -

I need help! My itunes will not open in Windows Vista. I have tried everything suggested by the apple website. Even when I open itunes in safe mode, it still will not allow me to continue. My mac will not open this specific website.
Ok so I enjoy playing this game called rigs of rods. Very entertaining. Anyway all of a sudden my mac will not open this website no matter what I do. Every time it just times out and says can't connect to server. I know it isn't the website because I can access it on my phone over 4g and over the same wifi network that my mac is on. I have reset safari and logged into the guest account and it still wont work. The only way I have gotten the site to work was by using a IP blocker or booting into safe mode and using safari. I have tried to use 3 different browsers and none will work. I'm almost for sure it has to do with my network settings but I cant figure it out. Help would be greatly appreciated as this is getting very frustrating.
Since you're running Lion, just try a new system install - it won't affect your data or apps, but you should, anyway, have a backup regardless.
Boot to your Recovery partition by holding down the Command and R keys whilst booting. At the Recovery window, first repair permissions again, then verify and, if necessary, repair your hard drive. Then quite Disk Utility and elect to reinstall the OS anew - it will only overwrite system files and the like, not touching your data, apps, etc. It may take awhile to complete.
After completion, reboot and see if the problem still exists. If it does, I'm just at a loss...
