My Verizon section of website down?

I am trying to log in to my account and pay my bill, however, it just keeps taking me to this page https://ebillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/nos/sorry.jsp
I tried to go to my verizon on my phone and it says "Your mobile number could not be validated, please try again later."
I'm assuming this part of the site is down, can i Report that bug somewhere or find out when it's going to be fixed?

Like most websites on the internet, updates need to be done periodically. As you may know our Verizon Wireless website is no exception to this rule. We try to perform the updates at a time when the least amount of customer traffic is conducted. During this time, I encourage the use of other self serve option for bill pay. From your cell phone you can call #PMT to process a payment to your account. The payment is applied to your wireless account on the day that you make the call so this is a great last minute option if your bill is due the day of the call. Another option is to setup auto pay.  This is my personal favorite as I don't have to worry about logging into the site during the maintenance timeframe. I have mine setup with my credit card. This way, I get the airline miles from my credit card while keeping my wireless account up to date. For more info on auto pay and other payment options, please see the links below:

  • Idea for Verizon to calm people down

    Here is an idea for Verizon to calm people down.  Give each person that you pushed their ship date back beyond the original 09/19/2004 that most of us had due to allowing people to "cut the line" due to the ecdp error that they are claiming a free month of service for their account.  That would provide some satisfaction with Verizon allowing this to happen to customers.
    You cant open it to everyone though only people that got pushed back not people that got to "cut the line" or had no issue what so ever.  it is not like it will cost Verizon either as it would be considered a tax write off on your corporate taxes next year.
    Is there any Verizon Rep that wants to step in and discuss this?

    I am not saying it is different with other carriers, the issue is that it has been confirmed by CSR's that people that were talking there way into the "cut the line" which ended up pushing people back in line.  I congratulate those people for being able to talk their way into it, but Verizon at that point is shafting the people that should have been getting the phone on launch day with no compensation

  • All Support links on Verizon website down

    For the past couple of days I have tried to access the Support section of the Verizon website. I constantly get an error page. I would like to send an email to customer support but that link also goes to an error page. I am using Firefox. It is not a very good sign of customer service if your customer service section of your website is broken.

    Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
    Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
    To clear cache and cookies do the following:
    #Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and click History button, and then Clear Recent History... .
    #Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
    #Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
    #From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
    #Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
    Further information can be found in the [[Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox]] article.

  • Backup Assistant Website Down?

    I've been trying to access the Backup Assistant website for the last several days to restore a media file and a contact from the backup (which is working from our phones), but when I sign into the website it hangs on the spinning swirl screen (Please Wait a Few Moments while we process your request) and never gets anywhere.  Is the site down?  Am I alone?  The same thing happens when we sign in for different accounts from different computers and different browsers.  Any guidance is appreciated.

Have you tried accessing Backup Assistant via your My Verizon account versus going directly to the website? Have you tried to restore the media file and contact on the phone?

  • Suppressing sub-section with drill down OK

    This may be an easy one that I just cannot figure out (I hope...).
    I have created two details sections - details A and details B.  I would like to suppress details section B while still allowing for drill down capabilities.  However, that option is not available.  I can either suppress the entire details section (A and B) with drill down capabilities or suppress either A OR B with no drill down capabilities.
    Any and all help would be truly appreciated!!

    I can only think of using an on demand subreport which sits in Details b. but the row and the SR lable will be visible for all records.

  • Verizon DSL - High "Speed (down/up)" Low connection rate

    Hello -
    I am doing this for myin-laws, who live in a semi-rural area.  They have Verizon DSL, and have been having very slow connection speeds for the past few months (they have the 1.5-3 Mbps, and are getting between 200-700 kpbs.  Sometimes, for a few seconds, it can get as high as 1.1 Mbps, but it never gets to 1.5.
    I have tried lots of things.  We got a new modem, reset the D-Link router to factory settings, plugged the modem directly into the desktop, rebooted everything, then rebooted again, called Verizon and talked with their overseas people, who said they would have someone look at it.
    Everything, no dice. So I'm not sure what to do. 
    Here's one thing I noticed, however.  When I go into the Modem sign in screen, and look at it (It's the Red sign in, not the Blue, on a Westell 6000 DSL modem), they get a very high "Speed (down/up)" level.  Something like 1740 down, and 500-something up.
    But the actual downloads are nothing like that.
    Is that significant to anything? 
    My other situation is that I am not at their computer now (I am back in the city).  When I left their place, I did not know about these boards, and I can't remember any of the other information that is from the modem sign-in.  That one piece, however, seemed strange to me (a high "Speed (down/up)" level, but slow reality.
    As you think about it, could that lead to any clues or solutions I should look for the next time I go up there?

    The closest proper sync rate that the modem would show for speed would be 1792/448Kbps, which would be the 1.5Mbps provisioning of the 1.5-3Mbps package. Verizon usually configures the speed lower if the line is not capable of holding a full 3Mbps or even an "optimized" flavor of it (which is ~2600kbps down, 640kbps up). Anyways, the next time you get the chance, I'm going to need the following information from their line:
    1: What do their modem Transceiver Statistics look like? If running a Westell modem, visit http://192.168.1.1/ , choose System Monitoring, Advanced Monitors and then click Transceiver Statistics. Post up what you see there. For ActionTec modems, check the Status pages of the ActionTec for DSL Stats. The address to ActionTecs are the same.
    2: Find out if the slow speeds are taking place all the time, or only during the evening hours
    3: Go to http://visualroute.visualware.com on their PC and choose the closest server to them. Let the Java applet load, and when it does it will show you a "Trace" box with your relative's IP address filled in. Press Trace and let it complete. When it completes, move the mouse over the second-last Circle (second from the right) and take down the name of it. If you see "ERX" in the name, please tell me.
    If you are prompted for a Username/Password while doing Step 1, try the following:
    admin/password
    admin/password1
    admin/admin
    admin/admin1

  • Trying to get DSL internet. Verizon central office just down the Road less then 1 mile away.

    I am trying to get service to my home and its a bit frustrating when the county physical address does not match with any other maps to try and get service. (its not just you). My property has 2 addresses associated with it

    There is a central office just down the Road with your logo on it (less then 1 mile when traveling on a Road with power/phone lines)
    My neighbors address is {edited for privacy} if that is easier to find
    Our property is on the intersection for {edited for privacy}
    The Central office is RONETXXA
    when i try to play around with the address trying to find one that is (somewhat close to my address to use as a reference point)
    What seems to be the case is so far i have found that i can get Phone service and direct TV through Verizon.
    Is this due to the distance the system thinks i am from the Central office or is it just that you do not provide Internet other then wireless even though there is a Central office and phone lines already set up in the area and to my 2 houses.
    Also last year we got all the way too getting a phone rep who told us that we would be getting a call from engineering to look into our problem...... that never happened.
    I would be most appreciative if you could please look into this.
    If there is any more information you need to better understand my situation please do let me know and i will do what i can to provide it.

    after the holidays i will again call customer support and hopefully i find them more equipped then the check for service plug in i also have access too and no way of dealing with difficult questions.
    Is there perhaps a more equipped customer support number that i can call to save me time/effort because my issue is not just a simple plug and check issue.

    A. the system is not showing my adress distance correctly
    B. the central office is not providing dsl internet even though the lines are already set up. (that kinda seems odd to me)

    This is a customer to customer forum, with a few support folks floating in from time to time...
    I work extensively with WordPress, took the liberty and ran a scan of your site and it's not blacklisted on any of the major listings.  It came up on my phone just fine using wifi, but if I turned off the wifi and used my 4G data connection, it timed out and wouldn't load the page.  Is that what you mean by being "blocked" by Verizon?
    Unfortunately, I'm just a customer and have no access to the inner workings of Verizon's IP blocking stats (if this is what's happening).  I can't do more than confirm that I can't see the site using my 4G Verizon cellular connection, but I can, on the same device, using wifi.

  • Verizon call assistant "server down" and login issue

    i downloaded the software a month ago & keep getting the server is down message.  i was told that the vca app is in the middle of an ungrade and therefore the app wasn't working.  i'm still unable to login.  am i doing something wrong?  do i need to register a new user id and password for vca?  i'm assuming the login in is the same as what i use to log into myverizon.com

    Hi there.  You mention that you downloaded the VCA software but are unable to login.  My first question is basic - where did you download the software from?  Did the link come to you in an email from our business office?  The reason I ask is that if you did not receive an email with the link, you might not be correctly registered.  If you are not correctly registered, the folks that would handle that are at 866-697-0853.  If you are registered, than let me know and we will continue to work.
