My very old IMac G5 has been scrapped..now using pc, but cannot access hotmail..on any computer!
Had to scrap my G5 10.4 too old no good for anything. My husband always accessed his hotmail account on it. Now that it has gone, he has tried to access emails on my pc and other pc's, but cannot. Just a recent problem, never had any trouble before the Mac died! I always sign out of my account (now Outlook of course) but when he tries to sign in it won't recognise him. Thinks it's still me!
It's most likely leaving a cookie behind that remembers your account name.
Many services, such as gmail, have a link that says something like "log in as another user".
If that's not available, your best bet might just be to make another login account, on your PC, specifically for him to use.

My iMac (2011) has been persistently throwing this error message: "SafariDAVClient quit unexpectedly." This started when I moved up to Mavericks, from Lion. Nothing crashes, and all I have to do is click "ok" to get rid of the error window. Still, annoying, as this darn Error message pops up at least every 60 seconds Help?

That's related since the process is attempting to load your Safari bookmarks from iCloud, and is crashing for some reason.
Try this:
Select the entire line that follows (triple-click to select it), then control-click, and from the contextual menu that appears, select Services > Reveal in Finder:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.iCloudHelper
Drag that entire folder to the Desktop.
Quit Safari.
Attempt to open iCloud Preferences again. If it opens de-select Safari.
Launch Safari again and determine if the problem is fixed. -

<Email Edited by Host>Whatever you bought from iTunes is yours forever and can be downloaded as many times as you want. This assumes what you purchased is still available in the Store.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On a computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
Whatever you have that did not originate from iTunes will have to be obtained from whatever means you used to obtain it in the past. -

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Iam trying to erase and reformat my old iMac, it has a 1Tb hard drive in it. Error pops up and I noticed it is saying that the hard drive is 8Tb.How do I correct this?
I found another forum that had a solution. Instead of using the recovery discs that came with the mac, use snow leopard to perform the actions that I needed to do. It worked. No input/output error and the software recognized the 1Tb hard drive.

There's a black and white striped glitch on the left side of my screen on my Macbook Air! Its happened before and has been an easy fix, usually just restart or turn off my computer but don't know what else to do. Is there anything I can try now? Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

My Credit Card has been used by someone else to purchase Skype Credit without me being aware. I need help to identofy the user that hacked by Credit card details and used to purchase skype credit. Or at least to prove that I have not used it. This is very much traceable if I can get the help from right people from Skype. I have not been able to locate a phone number to call the customer support. Please help me in this regard.
Some Background: I have filed a fraud case against the Bank that issued me the credit card and their investigation led to the conclusion that the purchase has been made from skype.com. I have not done any purchase. In fact I have not even registered by creedit card with my skype account yet. My purchase history is clean... But I need to provide more details to the Bank so they can continue the investigation and hence I need help from Skype support.

i have just dowloaded the icloud control panel on my PC and i am am able to see everything that has been pushed to icloud from my ipad. However i cannot see my email. i can send from the computer using icloud, but i do not see any mail that is being received by my ipad, which is set up with my mail server. What haven't i checked lol?
turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them
