My video has some weird kind of horizontal pixel misalignment. Whats going on?

I think the picture will explain everything:
I zoomed in on a segment of the video. When I'm zoomed out a bit in after effects, you don't see it. I have the composition linked to a premiere pro project, and when I rendered the video out there, you can clearly see this tearing in the final render when its being played. The video was recorded on a Sony HD camera.
The raw video that I recorded was a .mts. I applied a warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro to the video and exported it as a .mpeg. The .mpeg is what I have in my After Effects composition. When playing the .mpeg with windows media player, there is no tearing. I tried rendering out the composition as a lossless .avi and there is still tearing. So...must be some kind of problem with the composition settings?

You should not be using mpeg files in production unless they are camera originals. You could have introduced all kinds of artifacts and interlacing errors. Frame rates could be off. Without knowing your export settings or your comp settings we can only guess what's wrong.
For intermediate renders pick a production codec and stay away from MPEG of any kind in production. As Todd said, check you original footage, make sure interpretation is correct, and then render the stabilized footage to any production codec like Jpeg2000 QuickTime or even an image sequence. Also, make sure that you are using the right frame size for you render. I have no idea what the comp settings are so I can't help answer the question about composition settings.

Is it possible that you have moved or renamed any of your Event clips through the Finder? If so, iMovie will not be able to find them. The solution is to move them back and change the name back to the original name.
Also, if the clips are on an external drive, make sure that drive is attached.

Hi, I purchased some content from the iTunes store tonight (no bigger than 1.5Gb max) and during the download process iTunes has hung or partially hung the entire system over half a dozen times. Any suggestions on how to clean the system up so it stops happening? I've downloaded from the store glitch free since upgrading to Snow Leopard and today's the first time iTunes has given me any grief.
Any guidance appreciated.

My Ipod Video has some of my music under my video file

well i got my ipod video for xmas, and i uploaded all my songs that i had on my computer to my ipod, well when i went to go use my ipod, i found that some of my songs were missing from my music file, and had been placed on my video file...can someone please help me...

Final product of my video has some error

This can happen occasionally and I have never been able to pin down exactly what the problem is.
Try switching FCE off and on, disconnecting and reconnecting the camera etc. and keep your fingers crossed !

Installing a SIM card will never rectify the device being in recovery mode.
Put the device in DFU mode and attempt to restore it as new via iTunes. Google "DFU mode" for instructions.

If the clips are not actually missing, you could try to refresh the timeline by using cmd-0 and then going to the timeline options tab. Then select name only where it says "thumbnail display". Press ok to accept the change, then repeat the process to add thumbnails back to your timeline.

You may have installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cacche. Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safar/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
Doubtful just visiting a page in within the LinkedIn site triggers a script of any kind.

Ask your friend to supply you the DVD as a data DVD using either DV or AIC as the video format, burning the DVD as a DVD for a DVD player will degrade the video quality.

As Tom states, that's interlacing.
Interlacing was invented when the TV was born, to carry 1/5 the frame with each Hz of the electricity rating. In the US, that's why you use 30 fps (or 29.nnn) in the US and we use 25 fps in europe as the electricity is 60Hz/50Hz.
Interlaced video should ONLY (I repeat ONLY) be used for analog TV signal transports.
Each and every digital TV set today, including all the computer screens, is Progressive, updating the full frame at each screen refresh. And most TV's even refresh much quicker, newest TV's refresh a 800Hz..! (giving then problems with the newest LTE spectums..)
If your source media in interlaced, ask why! And stop shooting interlaced.. ;-)
If you have interlaced video, make sure you apply the DeInterlace setting when you import and transcode it.
