My video is buffering

I've had a BC site for 18 months in which I host video, files the stream through a flash player. Starting a few days ago my videos will not completely download and stop showing buffering that never lets the video continue. If I host the videos at another site they work fine, as I mentioned the videos have been working flawlessly on my BC site for the past 18 months.

Why do videos keep buffering and play when I select them?

I am in Florida, and have a comcast business account and get download speeds of 22mbps (as tested).
The Apple tv is hooked directly into the modem with ethernet.
We have tried about 6 different routers with apple TV and none of them make the Apple Tv perform without stuttering and buffering. So we decided to use direct hook up.
I have called Apple repetitively because when trying to watch a trailer/preview, the preview stops and the buffering starts.
This will also happen when watching movies.
Lowering TV resolution to 600x480 does not help either.
Apple fail to tell me where their Itunes servers are located, so it's impossible to do a traceroute to see if there's a problem on the way.
Desperate with this situation I opened a DSL account with Centurylink :same problem!!
It seems that Apple should fix their Apple TV product before placing a product on the market that does not perform as stated.
We took this a step further, and purchased a few Apple Tv's which we are setting up with different Internet providers to see what the results are.
You may think I have nothing better to do, but I'm building a case against Apple and shall get to the bottom of this. There are no excuses for placing faulty products on the market.

Video keeps buffering

Hi I am absolutely going out of my mind and I am hoping someone can assist. I am a frequent visitor to "The Food Network" site and I watch the videos daily. In the last few days the video keeps buffering and is stuck in that mode. I have downloaded adobe flash and shockwave as they suggested from their FAQ section but it still is stuck and continues to say buffering. I really would appreciate any assistance. I am definitely a beginner on MAC and really have limited knowledge in any area.

I also am having this problem. It's driving me crazy as I love watching the video's. I e-mailed through the Food Network help team today to see if they could provide any info. I also had another friend try from her mac. Same problem.

Is there a way to force full video clip buffering before playback begins?

i have 138K download radio link and ALL flash videos on websites that don't download pause every 5 seconds and buffers for 3.... is there a way to buffer the whole thing before playback?

Flash player plays when video fully buffered

Hello there, I'm having problems with the flash player on firefox. Every flash video that I want to watch only plays after it's fully buffered, it won't even show the buffering bar at all. On IE and Chrome it works fine.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Why does my video keep buffering?

I am trying to watch a video on PBS.org with my MacBook Pro but am unable to because it keeps buffering. What's odd is, I am able to watch the same video on on the same website with my iPhone 4 with no problem. Why is this? Both the phone and the computer are connected via the same wifi network and both have strong signals. To my knowledge, everything on the computer (software, adobe flash) are up to date. This is a MacBook Pro I got a week ago. What is the problem, and how do I fix it?

Streaming video keep buffering after enabling SSL connection

Hi,
I am running Adobe Connect Pro 7 /w SP2. I started having this video streaming problem (buffering on the status bar) in my presentations after I enabled the SSL connection on the server. I tried different video format and it didn't seem to make any difference. Other content types are playing properly.
Does anyone has similar problem as mine?

Hi, thanks. I wouldn't think that you would need to update your graphic and video drivers with Win7 but that is recommended as well as turning off the h.a.
Sometimes an add on in the browser, especially if it is the same in all browsers may be the issue. The Anti-Virus program would be the first I would check since most all Install add ons into the browsers.
What Anti-Virus do you use? Is it the same on the XP or different?

You Tube Videos Hanging/Buffering

Hi There, have been using Firefox for a while without any problems until this evening.
Haven't used Firefox for a few weeks, however this evening started watching some music videos and its buffering and hanging permanently a few minutes into the video?
Could anybody please tell me a way around this?
I have reset Firefox to no avail.

I just started experiencing this same problem too. I open same video using Explorer 11 as my browser, and I have no problems. What is causing slowness and pausing of videos when I use Firefox 33.1?

Exporting video with normal settings but video plays buffered

Hi,
I have a preset in APP that i always use for TVC, today i went to use the same preset (with good quality footage) and when i go to play the exported video it plays very buffered and you can barely watch it.
I exported a video yesterday using the same preset and now that does the same thing (yesterday i worked fine) on other computers too it also buffers.
Any ideas?

Did you try manually lowering the bitrate as I suggested?
If the original MOV footage plays fine, I don't see a reason for it being an issue after being exported.

W520 will not play flash videos unless buffered in all browsers (youtube works...)

I just bought my W520 referbished and I cannot watch flash videos unless they are fully buffered. Several places suggests it has something to do with F-secure which does not appeared to be installed. It also only effects certian players - not all. I tried it on a verity of websites and have found that JWPlayer is one of them. Youtube works fine. I have tried reinstalling Flash - I have updated all of my browsers (IE, Firefox [default], and Chrome). Could this be a hardware problem? Something to do with Optimus?

Can you share the links for both of the videos which work and does not work fine?
We tried our W520 streamming 1080p video from youtube and they work fine. Not sure if we got your issues right.

Unable to view You Tube Videos - Constant Buffering

Unable to watch ANY videos on Samsung Galaxy S4 - 4G LTE. The phone is constantly Buffering after 5 or 10 seconds. Have rebooted. Removed battery. Closed (and uninstalled) apps. Anyone else have this issue?

I am seeing the same issue with YouTube video streaming on my Note 3 over 4G data network. I reduced the video quality to 360p and still see buffering happening every 5 seconds. I already tried Force Stop, Clear Data/Cache and reboot device. But that did not help.
When I switch to Wifi network, the same video plays just fine even at 1080p quality.
Please fix the issue with your network.
EDIT: This issue has been happening for last couple of months or so. It used to work just fine on 4G network even with 1080p earlier.

Video jitters/buffers/severe loss of framerate

I'm out of ideas, I don't know what to do. Whenever I change the duration of a clip (speed it up), the video framerate drops for that clip. It buffers and jitters and just looks awful. Why is it doing this, why can't I just speed up a clip (it's supposed to be a time lapse) without losing quality.
I've tried it on multiple different computers, yet same result. So I delete the clip, reimport it, apply the speed reduction again, same thing happens. Why?

Actually never mind, when I export the file into my final video file (mp4), it is perfectly fine.
However the issue now is that there is no sound in the exported version. But the sound is fine in premiere. I tried audio PCM, Dolby Digital, and MPEG format. Sound didn't work for any of them.

Videos stop buffering/streaming until refresh (BBC iplayer/Youtube etc).

This problem appears to have come out of nowhere.
If watching a video on youtube I can watch it for quite a while then it will stop streaming, the grey bar stops getting longer. It then just shows the buffering circle continuously and doesn't continue unless I refresh the page and resume from where I was stuck.
This happens on Youtube and on BBC iPlayer, although I assume it must happen elseware, but I don't use anything else to know this.
I've tried reinstalling flash and Java, using Chrome, Firefox and IE, it happens on them all. My internet connection can't be the issue as a laptop on the same network has no problem whatsoever and the BBC iPlayer test shows I am way over capable of streaming HD videos.

Exactly the same problem here:
01) Starts after Adobe Flash Player upgrade to the last version.
02) Same problem with Internet Explorer and Firefox (both last versions).
03) Same problem with both Antivirus (NOD32) and Firewall (Comodo) uninstalled.
04) Same problem with Ad Blocker Plus uninstalled (AdBlock Plus).
05) I've tried to uninstall AFP version 11.4.402.278 and install an old version (10.3), but the problem persists.
No problem with the above HTML5 video sample from Chris, but the video streaming stops with the Non-HTML5 video sample.
All the published possible solutions on other websites and forums (and the complaints are many) are not working (cleaning caches, cookies, and the like).
My System: Windows 7 64-bit, Service Pack 1, Internet Speed Connection: 50 MB/s.

Youtube videos quit buffering - hang.

Flash 11.9.900.152
I have tried everything I can think of. HTML5 videos do just fine. Flash videos do okay on Chrome. Under Firefox, sometimes the videos play okay. When they do hang, which is often, I can almost always get them going again by moving forward or back in the video and hitting pause and go, or by refreshing the page.
I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Firefox and Flash. I set all Flash settings, local and global, to defaults.
What can I do?
P.s. Even when the Flash vids buffer up, they do so much more slowly than HTML5, and do not buffer nearly as far ahead. Flash shows many, many "dropped" in the stats. HTML5 always says 0 frames dropped.

Chrome has its own Flash Player built in ("PepperFlash"). It functions independently of the plugin for Firefox or even the ActiveX for IE.
And HTML5 is MP4 which doesn't require Flash Player at all, but is rendered using the browser engine.
Of late, I've experienced YouTube videos that previously played through with no problems freezing, and I have to refresh the page to get them to play again. I'm not seeing it anywhere else, like news or sports sites, so I suspect it's something on YouTube's end. I'm seeing it with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 & 8.1 as well as Mac OS 10.6, 10.7 10.8 & 10.9.
