My video turns negative

I am dragging and dropping AVCHD video from the media browser to the project. About half the time, the video image turns negative and I can't figure out how to change it. I also can't figure out why it only happens sometimes. Do I need to import a different way? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

When I try to crop in CS6 the image turns negative until I finish the crop when it goes back to positive. Anything I can do to stop this?

Sounds like you have a display driver problem.
If you're on a PC, go to the web site of the maker of your video card, locate their latest release for your hardware and OS, and download/install it. Follow their instructions carefully.
If you're on a Mac or can't get a display driver from online for some reason, in Photoshop go into Preferences - Performance, and try deconfiguring the advanced Graphics Processor mode to a lower setting or even turning it off.

PLEASE HELP ME !! All Videos downloaded to my I phone turn off ON THEIR OWN while playing. Some play for two or three minutes then turn off--some play for 15 minutes, then turn off. Plus rather than letting me resume play from the point at which they turn off--they all go back to the video starting point. THIS HAPPENS with ALL videos--!!! Videos from i tunes plus home made videos. I have taken the phone to my local Apple store--they had no idea why this happens and they gave me a new phone ( very polite and nice process) however the same thing happens on my new phone. I called Apple support--they had no answers. Please help--I spent a lot of money on the new i phone ( pre discount price) plus bought a brand new computer to make all this work with video and so far a big disapointment!! My computer is an HP Pavillion Elite - model m9040n- with an Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600,,memory 3GB DDR2, NVIDIA GeForce 8400 video card, using VISTA WINDOWS HOME PREMIUM. Thanks for your note. Glad to get all the help I can with this problem. Apple had me Update the phone several times and then restore the phone 3 times. None of this helped. I have even tried an update and restore wwith the new phone. PS: In your note you mentioned that Apple may have had an issue with video turning off before--did I read that corectly?

Youtube Videos Turn Green!

Sometimes when I watch Youtube videos on the Youtube Application, sometimes the video buzzes up and the whole video turns a green color. I can hear it but all I can see is a blank green screen, what's going on?

Monitor turns negative or overexposed

My older Powerbook, suddenly developed a problem with the built in display. All functions normal until I log in, within a few seconds the screen turns negative or over exposed. If I log out all is normal and if I log in as another user, the monitor function normal again. The problem only pursists while logged in as administrator so has to be a software problem. The computer functions perfectly normal, with a negative dsplay.
I've checked to monitor settings. All are normal. Expose is disabbled and screen saver set normal. Virus maybe? I'm stumped. Help?

Video turns grey when I try to record it using Quicktime

I am trying to save chapters of a DVD as movie files so I can share them online (this is a DVD of home movies essentially, so there shouldn't be any copying issues). I have been trying to save the videos using Quicktime's screen recording features, but whenever I click record and have selected the area where the video is playing the video turns to a grey screen. I can still hear the audio playing, but the image remains a grey box until I stop recording. Any suggestions?

That would likely depend on what you want to do.
The simplest approach would be to open the app and navigate to the VIDEO_TS folder on your DVD (or HDD if you already copied the folder to your system). Next select the specific "Title" you wish to transcode if there are more than one on your DVD. Since you indicated you wanted to share "chapter" segments from your DVD, you would then select the "start" and "Through" chapters to be included. (E.g., if you want to share Chapter 5 on Title 1 of your DVD, then select Title 1 in the "Title" pop-up, Chapter 5 in the Chapter Start pop-up, and Chapter 5 in the "Chapter Through" pop-up.) Next, you press the "Toggle Presets" button to open and select a target "Device" or "Regular" preset option as needed. Add the job to your queue window. When all jobs are queued or if you are only processing a single job, press the "Start" icon to initiate processing of your content.
You can, of course, create and save custom user presets but that implies you know how to use the various tab window options for best encoding results. This app is very powerful but can be used by anyone from a novice just starting out to an experienced pro depending on their level of expertise. If you can access your source content sequentially (i.e., copied to an HDD or have multiple DVD players loaded), you can use it to "Batch Process" multiple VIDEO_TS folders in a single session while you engage in other activities like sleeping or working.

Yeah, it's simple. You scan your images singly, then import them. Then, one by one adjust them. Under the adjustment brick, pull up the CURVES tool. It is one of dozens available from the pulldown menu on the left side.
So, with your image in view, you click on the adjustment tool, select CURVES (which will be at the bottom of a few other adjustment sliders such as EXPOSURE) under the Histogram and then grab the bottom of the right hand curve and swing it all the way to the left. Then grab the left hand curve and drag it all the way to the right.
The right curve represents highlights. The left curve represents shadows. Now the two are reversed. Your negative is now a positive. For added control, you can create mid-tone curves of your own and make finer adjustments. I haven't done this much so the experts might weigh in here with corrections and added advice.

I entered “convert negative to positive” in the search box.
The drop-down to the right of that entry shows that I’m using Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
The very first “Result” is for Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, not Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
It doesn’t do the job correctly.
There are no “Results” for Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.

Today my iphone 4s screen turned negative.

Today all of a sudden my 4S screen turned negative and it's not inverted colours as I already tried to turn it off and on. It hasn't recently gotten wet so I don't really understand what's happened. Has anyone got any clue what might have happened?

Video turns green

I have a sequence of clips and at a couple places, the video turns green for a split-second, as if it was scrambled. However, when I go frame by frame, the green doesn't show up. I export it out to a QuickTime file and the green shows up there, too. strangely enough, the green shows up in other areas when I go frame by frame, but not in regular speed.
What is wrong?

The screen on my 3GS running iOS4 just turned negative. Everything- home screen, wall paper, apps, photos- all appear as negatives. I reset and when it starts up it's OK, but during startup it changes to negative.Thoughts?

This feature is found in the accessibility settings under
Settings > general > accessibility > white on black
toggle this on and off as you see fit.

Video turning black after rending After Effects project to H.264

I am trying to be able to play an after effects project on my iPhone but every time i encode it the video turns out black. What am I doing wrong?

You may have had a frame rate mismatch. If you are rendering H.264 from AE you should either render to a lossless or nearly lossless production codec first or, if your project does not use AE's Ray-traced rendering option, load the AEP directly into the Adobe Media Encoder, or the rendered production version of your project and render your compressed delivery product there.

You can try two possible steps:-
1]Triple click the home button. You should get an accessibility menu.deselect the negative/black and white option.
2]Go to settings->General->accessibility->and deselect invert colours.
That should fix it

How do I import without turning my videos into negatives?

I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark ii with NTSC mode. Every time I import into premier pro and play video it is playing in what looks like negative film. Maybe I didn't set up my sequence right? Help?

What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
-If Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

ITunes videos turning purple??

I hope somebody knows what's wrong with my itunes, because it confuses the heck out of me. I recently tried to watch one of my music videos downloaded from the itunes store. I opened it and at first I got a black screen like normal, when all of a sudden it turned bright purple! When the video started, it looked like a photo negative in purple and teal. I honestly have no clue what would cause this.
I recently upgraded my video drivers (I use omega drivers), but I don't think that's the problem, because everything else works. It's only itunes that is haunted.
I hope someone can tell me how to fix this. I'd really like to watch my videos.
