My videos from go pro hero 3 black edition are no longer available
After update ios7 I can not longer play my videos which were taken with go pro 3 black edition ! Why? I did not pay apple for this ! Go pro black edition isn't a cheap thing and having waisted all memories that were taken and played simple before on same device!

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help try adding a new video to your Camera Roll. Perhaps the update process caused the problem. If a new video plays correctly then reload your older videos from your backup.
Perhaps some other users can provide more assistance.

Someone told me that exporting movie to DV video QT from iMovie share option, for burning in iDVD, is the best quality possible.
Is this true ?

As usual, this is really a matter of individual opinion. I personally prefer the Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC). It is newer codec specifically designed for use as an "intermediate" editing compression format. It is slightly more efficient than DV-25 (18-20 Mbps for audio + video vs. 28.5 Mbps) and is less restrictive (i.e.,the user has more control over certain settings). On the other hand, the very nature of having a highly standardized (few user option) compression format does appeal to many users since there are fewer things the user can mess up.

Bit rate, frame rate, and encoding dimensions are part of the standard and do not have user parameters as such other than selecting the NTSC or PAL standard. With regard to the aspect ratio, you simply select which you want to use—4:3 or 16:9. However, as I've previously mentioned, it is possible to distort your output by either entering the wrong aspect or to actually "lose" the embedded flag/value in some work flows. (I.e., a 4:3 aspect movie displayed at 16:9 makes the people an objects appear short and fat while encoding a 16:9 aspect movie as 4:3 will make them look tall and skinny.) Movies should always be encoded in their original aspect ratio since any modern digital TV will allow the user to disport—i.e., force a 4:3 file to fully fill a 16:9 display screen. In fact, some will even allow you to spread the distortion evenly across your screen or to the spread it proportionally. (On my set these features are called "H-Fill" and "Justify" respectively.) If you were to use the AIC video compression format rather than DV, then you would have to manually enter the display dimensions for the "standard" and/or "definition" format you are targeting. -

When exporting video from Premiere Pro?
When exporting a video from Premiere Pro it makes a .m4v file instead of .mp4, even though it saids in the Premiere Pro that it will make a mp4 file - and I can't use them afterwards. It has been there after I have updated last time.
Also, make sure that you check the box marked "Export Audio" if you want a MP4 extension.

I want to use my I Pad mini to play videos from my Gopro Hero HD camera and also to use as a monitor if possible? What software would i need to use ? I movie is what i use with my I Mac not sure if this will work on I Pad Mini?
At first I thought that this solved my problem, but alas it didn't. It does appear to add display area for your computer or to suplement it. But it is not a view screen for your Mini. I guess I will just have to live on with my monitor and use my Ipad and the "remote" app to run Itunes.
Once I have the system all set up, I could use the display but I don't know why I would. Thanks for your help. -

When trying to sync my ipad i see that I have 10.6 gb of video on my device. When i looked at my itunes under rentals i see that is where all the video space is coming from. These videos are no longer available to watch and I didn't know how i can delete them to free up the space on my ipad??Did you try to set it up as new device, as explained in this article?

well, the video is probably in a format that iTunes doesn't recognize. Convert it using an application like Handbrake.

I updated my mini, but some of my apps are no longer available. One of them I purchased from the Apple store. They are grayed out with the word "waiting" underneath the app. Any suggestions?
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

I was in ITunes, in my Podcasts list. I hit the icon (semicircle, with an arrow pointing clockwise) and all my podcasts were deleted. They were also deleted from my IPod. The podcasts were from 2010 and are no longer available in ITunes. Is there any way to retreive them?

I used to be able to access my Events from my iphotos on my ipad and iphone. They are no longer available on either device since upgrading them
I have seen this problem before. Does it also ask you for a voicemail password (even if you don't have one). If so, call your carrier and have them deactivate your voicemail password and it should be fixed. What happens is, it asks you for your voicemail password and the default way to listen to voicemail is to call a number to listen to them. However, the iPhone has a Voicemail tab where all of your voicemails are stored, but the default probably got reset during your iOS upgrade.

No you won't be refunded, it's your responsibility to keep copies of your purchases. Have you not got copies of them on backups ?

My purchases from Apple TV are no longer available on the device.
I'm not sure what I've done but my purchases from Apple TV are no longer available on the device. They can only be found on Itunes under 'library/tv shows' and 'apple tv/tv shows'. How can I transfer the shows back onto my Apple TV and then erase the files from itunes? Once accomplished, how can I prevent my Apple TV purchses from syncing with my itunes (to save space on itunes, I prefer not to sync purchases from apple tv).

You haven't done anything wrong, this is the way it is supposed to work. You cannot sync the content back to the Apple TV and then erase it from iTunes because the Apple TV mirrors iTunes, and if it is deleted from iTunes it will also then get deleted from the Apple TV.
You might also see this, however I strongly recommend against it. -
The basic sliders disappeared. Including the Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks, Clarity and Vibrance Sliders are no longer available. I need help to get them back on the program.
I can't figure out where the sliders went and how to put them back on. Anyone have any suggestions?
