My voicemail is messed up. Help?

Every time someone calls me, if I don't pick up, the call gets sent to a different phone on the same account. If I call my voicemail from my phone, i just end up calling the other phone. This only started happening after I damaged my original phone and got it replaced with an identical phone. My voicemail worked perfectly fine before that. Anyone have any clue what to do?

It sounds like you have call forwarding setup on your phone.
I don't remember the short code to turn it off.

My "Save As" menu is messed up - HELP!

I am Genie and I work on a MacBook Pro and PSE9. Somehow while working with my pictures tonight I have messed up the Save As menu. Only the name of the picture appears without jpg or psd(I think those are the other letter for Photoshop format) after the name...i.e.daisy copy...with no letter after it. I usually save to Photoshop in Photoshop format and to the desktop in jpg so I can upload to my blogs. I can save but when I go to upload Blogger will not take the shots. I know the letters need to be after the name, but I cannot figure out how to get them back there. I am wondering if it has something with how I am working on my pictures. I upen the original and then make a copy of it to work on. Then I close out the original so it is not damaged. I know that the name daisy copy comes up in my layers panel. Should I not be doing this? Can anyone help me? Genie

Itunes is messed up help!

ok so now when i pull up itunes something comes up first that says, "this service could not be deleted" then itunes comes up normally. But then when i hook my ipod up to it, it says the ipod software was messed up or something like that and it needs to be reinstalled. So I go to uninstall itunes and i go to "add/remove programs" on my computer and itunes is not showing up there. I try coming here and reinstalling itunes any way but on the last step of the installation wizard where it says "itunes+quicktime", it compltely freezes and the only way to close it is to end the task then a message comes up saying itunes couldnt be istalled. Please help.

Voicemail is messed up!

i returned my last iphone and got a new one. i rerecorded my voicemail greeting and set it as my voicemail greeting thing. but everytime someone calls me and it goes to my voicemail it doesnt give them the option to leave a voicemail.
please help.

When I first got my iPhone I had a similar problem. I was already on an O2 contract here in the UK and switched to one of the iPhone tariffs, but when I activated the phone the voicemail stopped working. I eventually called O2 customer support who helped me to turn off voicemail completely, turn it back on, restart the iPhone and then called the iPhone to check that voicemail worked as it should.
I needed to call them using another phone than the iPhone to do the whole procedure properly though.
Don't know if it'll help, but it's worth a shot!

well my screen got scraped, some parts are scratched, and my earphones are all messed up. i can still listen to it but its really bothering me. i just got it two months ago. so i can still return it. but im not sure if they will take it. if i do get a new one what will happen to all my songs? will they be on my new ipod automatically? or do i have to get them all back? i dont know what to do help please......

Adding covers for local albums is messed up, HELP NEEDED

I know there are already threads about this but I couldn't find any reasonable fix in any of them. So I started adding my local albums today and I can't seem to add covers to most of them. I'm using mp3tag software to embed the covers into the mp3s and it works fine, Winamp shows them so there are embedded there. However, when I load the albums into Spotify the covers don't show for most of them. They either show the cover of last listened album or no cover at all. So far I managed to get only cover working for Frank Ocean - Nostalgia, Ultra. I'm using JPG files and I tried various sizes, various folder names, I tried restarting Spotify - I tried it all. No matter what I do I can't seem to get them to work. This is really annoying Spotify, how hard can it be to implement a feature in the software itself to add your own covers? With all the updates you do almost every week one would think you would actually start doing important updates like the one mentioned above instead of just re-arranging design and changing colours. I don't even believe you will fix this so I'm going to ask members around here - do you know any working way of doing this? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Anything? I'm seriously considering moving to this new Apple Service at this point. Spotify is getting more and more annoying by the minute. BTW: I'm a paying customer, I've been buying premium for almost two years now so I do support you. But when something's messed up then it's messed up and it should be fixed.

If you are using one of the newer 1.0.xx.xxx Spotify desktop apps there is a major right click context menu feature missing which would help many users out enormously here. The right click context menu option was called the Unlink Track option for local files linking up with the Spotify content and messing up user intended cover art on local music files added into the Spotify desktop app. Sadly most of the local file support has not be added back into the 1.0.xx.xxx app version, and there are missing key features such as the Unlink Track option in the right click context menu, as well as the music file Edit Info... feature in the right click context menu that used to be there. That was the sad news I am afraid.
The Great news all these features are available in the 0.9.15.27 app version, if you still want these features you will have to roll your Spotify desktop app back to a 0.9.15.xxx version and you will also need to use a workaround to prevent the auto update feature, or the app will auto update on you and you will be back to a 1.0 app version again. This is all I can suggest until all the features finally get into the new 1.0 app version, and it might take some time to get there. With some key features missing with local music file support, there just is no way to get the newer apps to behave how you wish the app to behave.
I think I waited a good year before the 0.9 app versions got to a point that I could use the app and be satisfied with the results and the function of the app. I slogged along with an 0.8 app version for a long while until a good chunk of the bugs where gone in the 0.9 app version, and there are still a few lingering bugs around with this app version 0.9.15.27 but I can live with them. If you are an ad free user this app won't play the last track on an album and/or playlist if an ad comes on and it is the last track to be played, the user has to manually play it. This app also has a slight bug about keeping login user name info for some reason, and sometimes the drag and drop of tracks or albums into playlists hangs up and becomes unresponsive and a log out log back in is required to clear it up.
Now there is a trick and a workaround to get the newer apps to display local music files correctly with the correct cover art and all when the local music files play, and also so all local music files are not linked with Spotify catalogue content. The whole thing involves using an older app with the local file support still intact, making sure all Local Music files are fully unlinked from the Spotify content catalogue, and also making sure all cover art is displaying right when played, and all track information is set and correct before saving and backing up the local-files.bnk file. Which can be found under this file location C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Users\SpotifyAccountUserNameorID#-user. And then one has to actually reinstall a new app, unselect all music sources from in Preferences and then log out of the app, and add back in the back up local-files.bnk into the file location again under C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Users\SpotifyAccountUserNameorID#-user and replace or copy over the one already there with your back up file. But just using an older app, and rolling back would probable be best in the end anyway. This is a really just a dirty work around to get things to work right with regards to local music files that is.

TS4009 I need to get a message to Apple, iCloud...having so many problem with it. I just went in and deleted all of my iCloud emails, that just stay stuck there. What has happened now is that it was synced with Yahoo. I've lost all my yahoo mess. HELP!

I am so sorry that I ever signed up for iCloud. The only thing that ever worked is that I had two messages drop into iCloud when there was an open wifi connection. It is synced with Yahoo. It was taking up so much space as I had a lot of attachments, nothing sent, they just sat there, I had to cut and paste them into my Yahoo! account and send them.
Last nigth were were looking at the reason that my brand new Mac Air had ZERO memory. It was the iCloud messages that were stuck. I then went in and deleted everything. I have tried to turn iCloud off via a pull down menu. Did not work. I have now lost all of my sent and received messages in my Yahoo Account. My inbox is completely empty. I believe I still have sent messages though. These were messages that I had cut and pasted into Yahoo! to get them sent. Now my Yahoo! is wiped out.
I am a writer. I need those messages recovered. I am an end user. I need instructions in English on how to recover this. If there is anyone that can help me, I am desparate. I imagine Apple could retrieve them for me though there is no where to contact them.
I thought it was cool until, such time as I LOST EVERYTHING.

I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. Graphical mess-mapping help needed: select single segment from many

I am sending a standard PO IDOC from R/3 and converting it into a file before sending to 3rd party.
The IDOC used is ORDERS.
In this IDOC segment E1EDK14 gets repeated in R/3 and I want to use the value of 009th occurance (E1EDK14 009) to map my values.
When I look at XML, it looks as follows

Mac Mail totally messed up - HELP!

I have seven email accounts I organize through mail. NONE of them are allowing me to send right now. One account just re-downloaded 800 emails for no reason. The connection doctor says everything is OK. But NO emails are sending. If anyone knows why, PLEASE help me.
Also, please let me know third party applications that are reliable. This is the third time this has happened since switching to Snow Leopard.

I'd guess that by now, with 3 failures you might look at getting an external hard drive and setting up Time Machine. With so little data about your account types servers and other settings I don't know where to start. You didn't say if they are POP or IMAP or both, or mention if you are sending through each accounts SMTP server or the one provided by your ISP, or much of anything else. If you had a TM backup, you could just reload the files or even the entire system from before the failure.

It's kinda nice, and has hundreds of Add-ons, and I've seem the tabbed emails on the Windows version. It works well.

I've got quite a few PC clients using Thunderbird because it was so much better than MS Outlook Express. I haven't needed to try it on the Mac, but the Mozilla support is pretty good. I do use their FireFox browser because of the Add-ons I use every day.

I hated itunes 11, tried to put 10.7 back in on Windows 7 and now have a mess! Help?

I hated itunes version 11...found another couple postings that told how to uninstall it and reinstall 10.7 on my Windows 7. Tried to follow them...didn't work. It opened the old version, but only found a few songs in my computer. Most of my songs are in an external Lacie hard drive. So...I uninstalled and tried to reload the version 11 again. That gave me the same results...just a few songs in the library! Help!! I obviously am very clueless and if it sounds like I know what I'm talking about with any of this....I really don't. Keep it as simple as you can? Thank you so much in advance!!

I dropped my iPod mini today and now the screen only shows up HALF way. everything else works fine though. can someone please help? i called the apple company and they said they don't deal with screen problems .__. is the only solution getting a new ipod?

Ok I just got my iPhone 4 (16GB locked to at&t), i just cant believe how slick and perfectly designed this thin little device is, and the quality of the screen is as they say it, it smokes my 3GS out of the water!
So after I activated it and shut it off and on the screen now looks like rainbow colors..
It has mostly red and green and blue all over it.. But it worked perfectly fine before when I activated it..
I took a screenshot to see if you could see it but it just looks normal when you see it on your computer.. Whats wrong with it?
I live like 2 hourd away from the nearest apple store, what the **** do I do???
BTW: If you have ever taken a HUGE magnet and placed it on or beside a tv for a while, thats what it looks like. The colors on the screen are all messed up and deformed or something.

i do not own an iphone 4 BUT what i have read on a simliar issues like yours it's possible that after a few days of usage the screen distortion/discolouration might clear up, due to a bonding agent being used that needs to cure (dry/evaporate)
i'd give it another day or so and if it does not clear way, return your phone
hopefully your phone is ok as far as the proximity sensor and reception issues are concerned!
