Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain a known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.
It is also completely possible that the impact has caused physical damage.

Itunes wont work anymore...error 7

My itunes wont work anymore on my latop, i uninstalled it and reinstalled it but when i try to get in to my itunes and error 7 message will pop up saying that it was installed incorrectly and ive installed it several times to find the same thing happening. I dont know what to do anymore so if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it a lot!!!

I got an upgrade iTunes request from Apple. And upgraded. I should never have done that. Now it says that "iTunes is not properly installed". Other strange messages are also coming up, like missing .dll files etc.
I have deleted all Apple programs. Used Revo Uninstall that also deletes registry files and left over files. I have used ByeiTunes and Registry mechanic. I have used everything that is suggested on this site:

After doing all this, I got the same error message. So what wrong with Apple? When you have bought the product, you are left out in the dark. I have given up. Synchronizing the calendar with Outlook I can do manually, pictures that I have downloaded to my phone, I can access directly, and pictures taken by the phone I have to send to myself through e-mail. Music I never download using iTunes.
I have had enough. After this and after Apple has changed the plug that leaves me with 8 useless chargers and stands, there will be Samsung next time. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bits.

I have a problem with my L500-128 Satellite.
After upgrading Windows Vista(64bit) to Windows 7 home(64bit) my FN button wont work anymore.
I installed the Toshiba Value Added Package and Flash Cards supports utility and it still doesnt work.

the switch on the side is not for changing from noise to vibrate. It is a mute switch to turn sound off. For vibrate go to settings>sounds and then look at the first two switches and chose the settings you want for them

I need these Devices because they are my only network access via the Asix USB to Ethernet Adapter.

Mini displayport wont work ANYMORE?.

Hey all.
About a year ago I bought a mini displayport to HDMI adapter, and it worked fine. But then it began to only work sometimes. And now it wont work at all.
Sometimes I try to plug it in and then pull slightly to one and the other side, and sometimes a picture actually accurs on my external screen - whick got me thinking that the problem must be a loose connection or something?
My question here is: Do u think that it is the adapter or the port?.. Has anyone ever experienced a broken Mini displayport?..
(it is a Moshi adapter, and it looks like new on the outside..)

CD-ROM drive wont work anymore

Help!
My CD-ROM drive doesnt work anymore...if I try to put a CD or DVD in, it doesnt automatically take it in. It goes in almost all the way and then there is a sound and it spits it out. What do I do? Where do I look for it in my system profiler to know if it is being detected? Nothing has happened bw the time it work and now...Not sure what to do. My laptop is maybe 6 months old.

Aaron..thanks for ur reply! I was hoping there was something else that could be done bc now Im afraid I may have caused the problem, although Im not sure I did bc what I think could be related to this happened after the first week I got my laptop....
There were some posts about resetting the powerbook etc but wasnt sure if that actually worked for anyone...
I will inquire at apple I guess too...both my ipod and my powerbook are busted after 6 m onths...makes no sense.

ICal wont work anymore after 10.6.3 update

I have been receiving a error message out of the blue that goes like this: “Calendar Cache” couldn’t be moved because you don’t have permission to access “Calendars”.. I have reset the permissions and this doesn't work and iCal has become useless on my MacBook as it just shuts down after the error message. Has anybody else had this issue and if so, have you fixed it and how?

Ipod touch built-in speakers wont work anymore. please help

Like I said my ipod touch built in speakers wont work now yesterday I was able to hear and use them when I was using the pianist app from the itunes store and it worked fine and today I redownloaded the digidrummer lite app since my old one for some reason didnt work and once I did download the app I synced to my ipod and tried to play and noticed that no sound came out so I tried other apps and also my music and also no sound. with headphones connected it works fine sound comes out and all.

K, so last night I tried the home+sleep/wake button hold thing and reset it that way and also just normal shutoffs which didnt fix it and also tried the ideas that you guys said and no go. everynow and then it would make the sound when I unlock it. so i just left it on and let the battery die see if that would do something it got to 10% and shuts off i guess so then i charged it on my stereo system with an ipod dock and was listening to music then i disconected it and to my suprise it started playing through the internal speakers again. I was skeptical at first so I turned it off and tried again it worked. so i went to the app that I think caused the problem in the first place called digidrummer lite I was able to hear the drums tom toms etc went to the home menu tried again played that app once more but this time there was no sound. I went to my music and everynow and then it would play but fade out or not play at all. so I took digidrummer off and so far the speakers are working again but I will still need to test them more.

My ipod will not stay connected to my computer. When first plugged into the usb port, I can see it as a drive. Within seconds it disappears. If I look in the devices area, I can see it but it has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point beside it.

When I connect my ipod to a usb port on my computer, I can see it in my computer as a drive for a few seconds and then it disappears. It can be seen under devices but as a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. If I run trouble shoot, it states windows is disconnecting this device.
I can see it in itunes as a device. However, this is a brand new computer, running windows 7. My last one bit the dust in mid use. I want to save the songs on my ipod and to do that I believe I need to be able to see the files on the ipod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great Troubleshooting on your own so far!. (If you got 2 PC and 2 iPod would be much easier, some of the people in this community has more than 2 of each.)
Hope you did not connect it to a USB Hub, the sync cable must be plug in directly to a USB2 port at the back of the Desktop Computer.
If you have a spare Notebook, with iTunes, connect it to the Notebook, to check if the iPod is working or hung.
Can you iPod run and play songs, when disconnected from the PC? (Sorry, for just asking the obvious)
Anyway, just hard reset your iPod, so that we can start from scratch
1. if your iPod is hung, reset it by pressing Menu and Center button for at least 10 secs till the Apple logo, comes on. (this won't delete your songs in the iPod, if they are not corrupted))
2. Connect it back to your Notebook or Desktop.
if your iPod screen is dead, try charging the battery by connecting it to another computer. if it doesn't connect to successfully to another computer, it may need servicing.

Since downloading itunes 11.03 I cannot get back movies on my ipad or music and i have no clue how it works anymore after many years of enjoying it, I now have no clue and I'm about as angry as anyone could be. What has happened !!

Please help , I have downloaded upgrade 11.03.. Now I have lost my movies and music files from my ipad and cannot reinstall them , try as I might. Having used itunes for years I cannot believe I cannot mkae this work and feel very let down by itunes for allowing this upgrade to mess everything up still havent put it right. so can anyone help or are we all waiting for apple and itunes to sort themselves out. They must be loosing money as I can see from so many comment pages else where I am not the only person by far that is having the same or similar issues. I have wasted hours and still no further forward. I have lost all faith in apple itunes and reluctant to change anything or download any other updates, sad for someone who has a ipone , ipod and ipad.

I copied this from an extremely knowledgable iTunes for Windows user in another discussion. Maybe this will help.
In Windows, you can restore much of the look & feel of iTunes 10.7 with these shortcuts:
ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit (iTunes) > Preferences > Store anduntick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album (Grid) view use Edit(iTunes) > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
With iTunes 11.0.3 you can enable artwork in the Songs and playlist views from View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) making it more like the old Album List view.
If you are a Mac user, all you have to do is start navigating through the menu items at the top of the screen to find just about everything that is mentioned here.

Software Update won't take you beyond 10.6.8 which is the highest incremental update for Snow Leopard. The fact that it won't let you upgrade to Mavericks suggests that your Mac is not compatible.
You should start by checking that your Mac can handle Lion, for which the requirements are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
The original early 2006 MacBooks have only a Core Duo processor and so are not compatible, but the models from late 2006 on have a Core 2 Duo and so should be.
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). You will get a code which you can use to download it from the Mac App Store.

Time machine backup wont work anymore:(

My backup wont backup any more, I clicked on the i next to the Failed message, and it said, that the files seem to be in "read only" how do I change it so it will work?

IPod wont work anymore?

I have been using my 5th generation iPod fine with my iMac for a couple of months now but it suddenly stoped hooking in. now a message says that my power is too low and I need a USB 2.0 port, but the problem is I've been using it and it has worked fine. What should I do?

I seem to have the same difficulty. ipod (5th generation) was docked into my Altec Lansing iM7, this afternoon I removed it from the dock and the screen was blank. I plugged it in for aproximately 1 hour and the screen remains blank.
I understand that a light will come on the screen (for three seconds) indicating that the battery is dead, if in fact the battery is dead. So, I assume that there is another problem that I am not quite understanding.
Is there anyone who can send me in the appropriate direction.
(I am letting the ipod rest for a while before I attempt to charge it again…)
