My volume on my iPad mini won't work when I play it out loud or with my head phones it first started when my volume on snapchat wasn't working I have tried
turning it all the way of that didn't help what can I do

Try a PRAM reset:
If no success, look in the audio output port. If there is a red light, the internal switch is stuck. Insert the headphione jack a few times and see if that will trip the switch.

Which kind of account are you using?
If you are using a business account (for example [email protected]) you must set POP account info properly, filling all the blank fields (name, email address, description, password, Host Name, user's name, SMTP). Just one field blanked causes error in sending/receiving.
If you are using a default account (iCloud, Yahoo!, Hotmail...), fill all the blank fields (Name, Email account, Password, Description) and sign in.
If not works, delete the account and sign in again

They will replace it with a refurb of like kind if the problem is deemed to be hardware related and not caused by misue. They will probably try restoring the device and troubleshoot it on their own before they replace it for you .... And I'm talking about an Apple Store here.
You should probably try this next.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.

For the update to run Aperture must be installed in the system Application folder and named simply Aperture, not Aperture3.2.2 or anything else.
I don't know if this would also affect photo stream but if your Aperture is misnamed or installed in an incorrect location fixing that to see if it clears up the problem would be a good first step.

Please help... I took my iPhone 3GS to the Genius Bar on Monday because my volume won't work at all on any part of my phone. They said it was dust in my ports and they blew some air in the ports and it worked again. Unfortunately, it didn't last. I certainly didn't get my phone dusty. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks

You can go again Genius Bar and tell them about previous repair attempt, they can check if still same problem, or it was something else.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I discovered this lovely little forum entry that solved my problem!
(Remember this is for Windows, I'm not sure if the same will work for Mac)
This is what you do:
1: Have iTunes up and plug in your iPod.
2: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons down until the iPod shuts down.
3: When the screen is blank, release the Sleep/Wake and just hold the Home button down for about 15 seconds.
4: After then, iTunes will recognize an I iPod in Recovery Mode.
5: That's when iTunes will ask you to Update/Restore your iPod.
I'm pretty sure those are the steps.
(If anything is wrong, can someone fix it, please?)
But that really does work.
The writer said that his iPod was "stuck on the apple screen, and not going anywhere after that."

The alternative HD version has been optimised by the games developers to perfectly fit the larger iPad screen without doubling the pixels and they have chosen to charge for this HD version separately to the standard iPhone version.
