My watches issue & rolling period logic

Dear Concerned:
I am unable to view my watches in control panel. I have been facing this problem since a long time , internet speed is awesome, other colleagues of mine can see their watches ,the page ends up in an error mentioned under

now in order to resolve the issue when i try to send an e mail to SAP network  using my official ID( i receive SDN correspondence on daily basis on my official ID  ) or other ID there is delivery failure and i am unable to send it to the concerned to get my issue resolved.
Secondly i am unable to understand the rolling period logic with regard to daily decline in ranking.. I am top contributor on Financial Forum...Today my score is 662, by tomorrow it will be reduced by 20 or 30 , if the 30 days rolling logic would be applied then it should also stand true for other contributors. Rolling period logic was explained to me by Daily Decline in ranking score
Their daily score does not decline. Why is that so? Would someone clarify the underlying logic.

    Hi,
    Budget control in BCS is working on annual/multi-annual basis, i.e. there will be no control on monthly basis even if you enter your budget period by period. If you want to implement monthly control, you might use FM object 'Budget period' which is available as from 6.04 release. If you are in earlier release you can make a workaround with some unused FM object, e.g. Funded Program. This issue has been discussed several times on SDN, so please search for available material.

    As far as I know OOQA transaction cannot be enhanced.
    One option that comes to my mind is, you can write in days to YEARS field and make your Z-reports accordingly. -take years field and show it as days-.
    Other than this, I don't think there is another option.

    At least Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X work correctly in Mountain Lion. Furthermore, Logic Pro X requires the latest OS X Mountain Lion version

  • Report with rolling periods

    Hi
    We have a requiremt of generating reports with a rolling periods functionality. The report has to return data for the recent one year ( eg., if today is 30 Aug 2007, the report should result data from 31 Aug 2006 to 30 Aug 2007).
    We are using XMLA connector to build the query definition as we want to have coustomized reports and do not intend to use standard BI reports.
    Please let us know how the rolling periods functioanality can be developed within Visual Composer.

    I apologize if you have mistaken my query. I am not referring to deletion of data from the data target. I wanted to know if we can can execute a report in VC which fetches data for the current one year. If we were using standard/customized BI reports we could have had the dynamic selection of the filter value using variables. But in our scenario we are developing queries using XMLA connector through the BI integration wizard. In this process we dont find a flexibility to have dynamic time periods (like the report fetching latest one year data). We would like to know if this functionality can be developed in VC through some functions.

  • How do you get the piano roll on logic pro x to show 1/64th notes?

    On the piano roll in Logic Pro X the grid only shows like 1/16 notes. I want to be able to zoom in and have the grid at 1/64 notes.

    Transport is at the top center of the Logic window. If you click on the "/16" which I circled in red, you will get a drop down menu to change the the note length you want.
    Your transport may look different and might not have the "/16" right now. I have a custom transport displayed. "Custom" can be selected by clicking the "gear" icon on the left of the transport. Various options for what to display in the transport can be accessed by right-clicking in the transport bar and selecting "customize transport and display." The option you are looking for will be in the "LCD" section - choose "custom" and check the box for "signature division."

    According to Adobe staff, a problem was introduced in Yosemite that is causing funkiness with secondary monitors is what I meant.
    It seems related, not that it's the same exact issue.
    Personally, I'd roll back to an older version of DW if that second monitor was necessary to my workflow within the program until Adobe or Apple push a patch.

  • Issue in workflow - Logically Deleted Scenario

    We have an issue in Journal Entry Workflow. The user has tried to upload a document for Journal Entry Posting. Document is in Parked Status. In the workflow, when it has come to the required step of workflow approval and checks for the document type, it has got logically deleted. Thereby the workflow got terminated.
    Kindly let us know as how to proceed further. What would have been the reason for this automatic logical delete? Mail us the solution regarding the same.

    Automatic Logical deletion ! I think this is not possible check with the log of the workitem whose user id is appearing then in the code check weter you have assigned any FM to locially delete the work item which is being trigered by mistake if not just start another WF and proceed with your work.

  • File Watcher issue...

    I am hoping someone can nail this or point me in the right direction because I seem to be hitting a brick wall...
    Until last night I was successfully using my file watcher job and then it just stopped "watching" for some unexplainable reason. The file watcher and the event job is pretty straightforward based on several examples provided in this forum and elsewhere. Few details;
    Oracle EBS R12 (12.1.3)
    Database Version:
    BANNER
    Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.2.0 - Production
    CORE     11.2.0.2.0     Production
    TNS for Linux: Version 11.2.0.2.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.2.0 - ProductionFile Watcher and Job DDL. Please note, this is not the original piece that I was working with when the problem started, but in an effort to diagnose the issue I picked a simpler version from one of the posts on this forum (posted by 'RnR'):

    1. I have tested and confirmed that 'Credential' works. This was tested by using another 'External' job which moves files from location A to B.
    2. I altered 'REPEAT_INTERVAL' attribute of 'FILE_WATCHER_SCHEDULE' from the default 10mins to 3mins.
    3. Created and touched the file "file.txt" at frequent intervals in anticipation it will get pooled.
    However,
    1. **schedulerjob_run_details* and **schedulerjob_log* does not show the said job as expected.
    2. The file watcher is created correctly and appears in dba_scheduler_file_watchers.
    3. The file watcher job appears in user_scheduler_jobs as ENABLED
    4. From table dba_scheduler_global_attribute the value for attribute FILE_WATCHER_COUNT is 6. Which sounds about right before things stopped.
    5. Finally (no quite as I tried several other things in-between), as a last resort the database server was bounced, but still no change.
    It almost feels like the background process that queues the file watcher queue has stopped!! Just a guess. But I have no idea how to check for that. I have looked at dba_running_jobs to see if sys.file_watcher job is running, but no. I am not sure if this is something I should be looking for....
    So, please any questions, suggestions, thoughts, etc... will be truly appreciated.

    Our DBA pointed out a BUG ID on metalink 11715143: FILE WATCHER DOESN'T EXECUTE THE JOB WHEN THERE'S FILES IN THE WATCHED DIRECTORY
    The symptoms listed in the bug note are very similar to my problem with two exceptions: 1). Our server is not generating a trace file for filewatcher (it did generate trace when I screwing up with 'External' job types), and 2). As mentioned previously, file watcher was working until 24Hrs back.....

    suggestion :
    set parallel_instances=trueYES. The parallel inst attribute for the job was set to TRUE. Not for the job in the code snippet I posted, but for the original code that was working successfully - as expected. In the latter test code case I was creating and touching files every so often (my default job class interval was changed to 3mins.
    I know you have done this but I would triple check :

    FROM user_scheduler_credentials;YES. Creating Credentials was the first heartburn I had because it would get created, but just couldn't run any OS commands. Sorry, can't remember the exact error msg, it was something others had experienced on this forum. After a lot of digging on google and here it finally started to work after (re)linking libpam library (64bit).
    So, it appears in the scheduler credential table and have frequently tested it by running another job of type EXECUTABLE to move files around from the same source location where Filewatcher is polling from.

  • Issue with Period Control Table after copying Essbase adapter

    Hi Experts,
    I'm working on version 11.1.1.3 and have copied the adapters (Essbase, Pull + EPRi) in the work bench so I can add an additional target for the FDM application. However, I have an issue with the import process; it returns an error with the Time & Periods (I guess it's something to do with the Periods category).
    I have reimported the Periods Control Table and updated the new application's Target Period & Year (whilst changing the system code in the Application settings to the newl adapter) and still receive the same error message.
    Any direction or thoughts would be welcome.

    The time periods do not copy. You need to maintain them through the UI or upload them from excel. There is a KM article on this if you need additional detail.

  • Error during goods issue-Posting period not open

    Hi ,
    I am getting an error during goods issue which says posting period not open.I guess that we have had deliveries that were created and in process while crossing over from one financial period to another quite frequently before, but we were still able to goods issue them in the next period. Can anyone tell me why this error happens and if there is any work around for this?

    Goods issue takes place, say on a given date and this should be updated, so that the plant valuation changes are recorded. But the periods need to opened to do this. Normally there are two posting periods available, one is in MM, done by t.code MMPV and the other in FI, t.code is OB52.
    So, in MMPV we need have the current month as the posting period. But in your case it was allowing, probably because you have marked the indicator " allow posting in previous period " in MMRV t.code as our friend just conveyed.

  • Strange CPU Performance issue Mac Pro, Logic 7.2.3......

    I am experiencing a strange issue with Logic 7.2.3 and my Mac Pro.
    I am running about 70 tracks in a tune I'm writing, with a lot of the EQ and dynamics processed on a Liquid Mix, but am experiencing a lot of CPU spikes, and drop outs in logic.
    The System Performance meters are showing that one of the CPU cores is at full capacity, whilst the Activity Monitor is showing a total usage of about 40%.

    I have tried every combination of settings in the audio preferences, but cannot seems to get this track to play properly.
    With 71 tracks, this machine is currently LESS powerful than the G5 that I have been working on until purchasing the Mac Pro.
    I there anything else I can try? Are there any other means of controlling buffer size?
    I have a suspicion that this may have something to do with the Plugin Delay Compensation set to 'All' - But without doing this, I cannot use the DSP effects of the liquid mix to work on a Bus! Very frustrating.

    Thanks for the tips guys.
    I have tried to find an offending loop or part in the sequence, but cannot find anything at all thats causing the issue.
    My suspiscion is that using the focusrite Liquid mix on a part, that is in turn going into a delay compensated bus, which has another Liquid mix plugin on it, is causing the issues. I use the total mix software in the fireface to perform the summing of the busses, which I think in turn may be causing the PDC to glitch a bit more.
    Which is a bit annoying, as the mix in this tune is my best yet!
    So I will attempt to remove the liquid mixes that are running in series in a chain, and see if thats the problem, but if that fails, time to re-format again!
    I'll let you know how I get on in the next couple of days!

    Let me give you a clear picture of our issue.
    1. *memberset() command which is used to retrieve a list of members of a particular dimension, is not being recognised in 7.0NW version.
    We want to know if we have any replacement or other format for this command.
    2. After declaring the dimensions using XDIM_MEMBERSET statements for all the existing dimensions, if we need to manipulate on all the existing combinations we use

    In this case, the star to the right of the when is not recognised. Even if we replace * with <ALL> the result is not achieved.
    We would like to know what must be used to select all the existing dimensions.

    Thanks for your advice. But here is my problem: I have two selection screen exit variables one for year and one for Period. If the user enters
    005 and 2006, I should be able to calculate the following:
    5,4,3,2,1,12,11,10,9,8,7,6 for periods and the year should roll from 2006 to 2005. That's why I had the user-exit, It calculates fine for the first column but all other columns remain blank.
    Also, I tried your solution:
    When I use fiscalyear/period variable, and use use offsets ( 0, -1, -2 and so on ), only the first column is getting populated and the others are coming out as blank.

    I am trying to understand how to enable the note names in the piano roll editor, according to some posts it should works creating a mapped instrument, I follow up each step but for me this solution does not work.
    Basically I have created a software instrument with Drum Kit and I would like to see the names of each component of the drum when I am editing(for example snare, kick, toms HH etc), currently I only can see values as C4, C3, C2 etc

    Well it is a shame because the "Piano Roll" is a good and quickly tool for edit drums and midi software. I have used Cubase, ProTools, Reaper and they have notes names options available, I do not understand why Apple did not think in that option as well.
    By the way today I have practiced with "Step Editor" option, it is interesting option but it is not better than edit with "Piano Roll".
    I hope that Apple think in this little option but great tool for the next release.
