My Weather Mobile

For you weather junkies like me, this is the greatest weather app yet for the iPhone.
Be forewarned however:
I downloaded and installed this app last night and immediately was unable to connect (spinning wheel) to any of my mail accounts. Pandora would take forever to load and when it did it would play for 10 seconds.
Deleted My Weather Mobile, restarted the phone and all was back to normal with both mail and Pandora.
Other than the phone, Mail is my most important app and then Pandora.
I will try to contact the My weather Mobile folks to see if they have any answers.

You're talking about two separate issues. Push notifications are available for 3rd party apps (a feature of 3.0) - IM apps, AP news, etc., make use of them. An app must be specifically written to use Apple's Push Notification servers. I don't see that My Weather Mobile supports Push notifications at all - so, if you're expecting them to, any delay is on their end, not Apple (and AT&T has nothing to do with Push notifications, other than carrying the data just like email or web browsing).
MMS is also a feature of iPhone OS 3.0, but that one requires cell carrier support. Carriers in many countries worldwide support MMS for the iPhone, but AT&T currently does not. They have stated they will support MMS on the iPhone in "late Summer" - summer ends on September 22nd.

My location isn't available in Apples native weather app. Why?

I live in a very small town, and when I enable location services for the weather app it appears like this (i.imgur.com/4M4Eu.jpg) and doesn't resolve. I also search my town via post code and name directly, it doesn't even appear. I am confused, because the location is available in most other weather apps just fine... Can I get it to work in the native version? Can I submit locations to apple perhaps..?
My location IS avaliable via Yahoo weather, which the weather app uses.

Well after a bit of searching, my location doesn't appear in Yahoo Weather mobile website, But it does on the desktop version.
So this isn't really an Apple related issue as far as I can understand... any other ideas of what I can do?

Why are bookmarks pinned from Firefox android less attractive than ones pinned from stock browser

I want to pin the BBC weather mobile site to my home screen for quick access.

If I do this from within Firefox then I get an unattractive, generic bookmark symbol on the home screen. It works but doesn't look nice.
If I do the same thing from the stock browser the generic bookmark symbol doesn't appear. The symbol is a BBC logo pulled from the website.
Why is this? Is it a bug?

R3.0 Release and PUSH Capabilities

It has been several months since I jumped on this discussion grp... so this may have already been addressed? If memory serves me, the new (free) R3.0 release was to provide 3G (2nd gen) users a form of "PUSH" technology which was to accommodate some app store app's PUSH functionality (ie My Weather-Mobile), as well as MMS and snd'g pix via MMS now? Correct me if I am wrong on that...
If correct, I was informed by My Weather Mobile team that they were waiting for AT&T to make this available over their network... and I seem to recall APPLE indicating that the delay for snd'g pix on MMS was also an AT&T network delay. Can somebody bring me up to speed on whether this is truly an AT&T issue, or if it is APPLE? I just got off the phone with AT&T tech support on drop-call issues and asked them about this, and they claim that it is an APPLE delay...? Thanks

Images go black once web page has loaded

I use my blackberry to look at the BBC weather pages. When the page loads the images load and can be seen but once the page has finished loading all of the images go black. Any ideas.

New email notification...

So, my mail icon says I have three unread messages, when I go to the account with the allegedly unread messages, I see Inbox (3), but there are no unread messages. any ideas?

Does it say 3 messages total, 3 unread, download more messages?
If yes the only way to fix that is a restore. Same thing with me. I found an app that cause mail on the phone to do this and removed it. Unless I restored, no mail would be visible in that account ever.
Restore is a pain, but I've even deleted everything on my phone to make sure there weren't any files left (2 hours for a 16 gig phone) and restored yet again. Mail on the phone still doesn't work for more than 2 or 3 hours before I have to shut the phone down and start up again, but at least I can see the mail.
What apps do you have on your phone? My Weather Mobile (a great app BTW) at this time screws up my mail. I'm waiting on an update on that app before I reinstall it.

Most YouTube content requires the Flash plugin. Sometimes it's necessary to uninstall then reinstall that plugin.
Uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Very important to uninstall the currently installed plugin first.
Now launch Safari and try a video.
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
You may also need to delete the cache associated with Safari .
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go the move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a video.

Weather Widget in a6000 mobile

I had purchased lenovo a6000 mobile and accidentally deleted the weather widget can any one tell me how to reconfiguire it.

It is a widget you see when you swipe down from the top of the screen.

As the attached article shows, AirPlay Mirroring requires an iMac to be from mid-2011 or newer.
You should be able to use AirPlay to send music (but not video or pictures) from your iMac to speakers.

Weather app error

Hello Sony,
I am receiving "Server error" or "internal server error" every time I am clicking on "15 day forecast" in weather app. Clicking this opens my browser (Opera mobile in this case) and displays the error message.
I am on WiFi with very good signal strenght.
Please solve the issue.

It seems it was a temporal accu weather issue, probably they reset the server. It is working fine again. Please close this thread.

Animated Weather Maps?

Animated weather maps, radar ect, don't move on my droid x. I have tried weather underground's mobile site that has worked on all my pervious phones. I have also tried their regular site and I have tried all that accuweather has to offer. What gives? These are great weather sites, I want them!

Safari Mobile and WiFi troubles

Hi,
I have some troubles with WiFi connection in my school ONLY, but *only with Safari Mobile*. Weather, iTunes, App Store and Maps work perfectly well, but Safari is lock on the white waiting wheel on a darken screen.
Bellow is what I can find in the logs. The most interesting line is surely the last one. The school uses a radius authentification and a proxy (only HTTP/HTTPS is allowed).
On any other network I have no problem.

The iPad was never designed to be a laptop replacement, and being a reletively low-powered mobile device, where security and battery-life are of utmost importance, doesn't have all the same features as a laptop computer running a full desktop version of Windows or Mac OS X.
Seems like you should've checked whether the sites you need to access are compatible with mobile browsers (not just on the iPad) before spending your money.
Even if Apple suddenly allowed the installation of plugins, that wouldn't instantly solve your problem, since you couldn't just install plugins developed for Windows or Mac OS X. The developers would have to write them for iOS, and there's no guarantee that that would ever happen.
Even Microsoft have virtually abandoned Silverlight, so don't expect that to be appearing on new devices, especially ones not developed by, or using a Microsoft operating system.

U didn't understand my question . Samsung mobile have live weather , as u unlock the screen u see the sun and in night it appears moon with weather report live all the time . If u know any software name , let me know so that I can download from iTunes

Apple certainly is not monitoring these forums for suggestions, they do not monitor these forums.
It is highly unlikely that any app developers are monitoring these forums for the ridiculous ideas that some "genius" throws out for the world to see.
Especially when that "genius" cannot be bothered to reply to their own thread instead of creating a new thread as reply.

Creating Custom Mobile Application with CRM

After reading some staff about the CRM Mobile client solutions , I have not figure it out weather I can create my own mobile applications using the CRM Mobile Technology .
I know that the mobile clients need CRM Middleware server for synchonization and for access to backend systems, but can I call any rfc on any backend system (for example R3)
for synchronization meaning that my CRM server will be used only as middleware server to access non crm functionality on other backend systems

What you can do is the following:
data-save on MSA triggers an outbound sbdoc (containing the update objects)
-->this one is sent to CRM by the conntrans
--> the sbdoc is created from the data, stored in the inbound queue, and processed through it's CRM flow (meaning mapping to mbdoc, processing of inbound mbdoc, creation of outbound mbdoc and mapping to outbound sbdoc).
What you can do is use or exit the bdoc flow to trigger whatever other process you want.
What exactly is the requirement?

ADF Mobile - XML Parsing

Previously I posted on calling a remote webservice - Calling remote service using ADF Mobile and I get my weather application working already.
The webservice returned me a string which is a XML form. I want to parse the XML to make it easy-read.
The currently output from the webservice (http://www.webservicex.com/globalweather.asmx) is as below.
