My web-page works in Firefox 3.6.13 but in 4.0b11 it's blank!
My shopping cart page, using javascript and EJEJC_multiAdd, works fine in Firefox 3.6.13. But in Firefox 4 beta 4.0b11, I'm told it's just blank!

The url in the system details is the production page. I understand both have the same problem in 4.0b11.
Any ideas what might be the problem?
Hi, I checked your page with safari and chrome (on mac) and it is exactly the same, it does not show anyting below the banner as in FF4. Same thing in IE8 on Windows but it works on FF3 on Win.

When loading ANY web page, it take firefox 3sec to load a blank page. I have tried everything, starting firefox in safe mode and dissabling all add ons, turning 6v on and off, turnig proxy on and off, reinstalling firefox, restarting my computer, and reinstalling drivers. I can use another browser to surf the internet but finding one that is as capable to firefox isn't easy.
ps. Firefox did start at one point and then just stoped.
I use Linux Ubuntu 11.04 single bootCreate a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

Web pages saved with Firefox can't be opened with Firefox
Web pages saved with Firefox can't be opened from my file manager (Thunar/VectorLinux) with Firefox. Why is this? I can open them with Opera and other browsers but not Firefox.
What file extension do these files have?
Does it help if you rename them and add a .html file extension?

I have some web pages that loaded completely when using 3G but partially loaded using Wifi.

Can you rule out the NoScript extension as a cause of the issues on those sites? Even if you allow the main site to run scripts, often a website will spread its content over additional servers, so you may need to visit the "S" button menu a second or third time to get full functionality. (Over time, you'll recognize some the servers as being for ads, tracking, or sharing buttons and you can just let those parts of the page not work.)

I'm using iweb 3.4 and trying to load audio files to my web page. Everything looks good in iweb but after publishing instead of having a control bar i have a "?". Does anyone know what to do?
Where are you hosting the site, how are you uploading the files and what's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand?
Adding audio files by dragging onto the web page forces the viewer to have Quicktime installed on their computer in order to be able to listen to them. Look at the audio player options on this page of Roddy's iWeb for Musicians site: Audio Players for your Music Website.

Went on the internet on Friday but a box appeared saying firefox could not verify web page and somebody could be trying to impersinate the web page this was my home page it gave me two options the first was get me out of here or that I understood the risks and to continue I clicked the latter and my home page came up this box continued to appear on each occasion I tried to acess any web pages but when I tried to acess Facebook the box only gave me the option of get me out of here it also did this when I tried to acess Mozilla Firefox to see whether there was a problem with the browser I tried to reinstall the browser but the problem persisted I finally got round the problem by reinstalling my computer to an earlier time before I did this I also have the option for Google chrome on my computer and this browser worked fine Facebook etc I prefere Firefox but although the warning box hasn't materialised since I reset my computer Firefox has become unstable where it has frozen on a web page and the only way I can get out is to start the task manager and end the programme even though the task manager is saying that the page is still working correctly but after I have ended the running of the programme it will not reload the firefox browser but again google chrome is fine I have to restart the computer to fix this problem any ideas thanks.

Why can't I print a web page on my HP 1600 with FF4 but is works just fine with FF3?
For example a web page that shows a recipe. It won't print. I select print and nothing. Works just fine on Firefox 3

When I want to mail a web-page or link firefox keeps opening new windows and cannot be stopped.
My laptop is a Samsung R730 (quite happy with it). I use Eudora for e-mailing. If I want to mail a web-page or link and click under 'file'to send it, Firefox starts opening new tabs without stopping up to over a hundred. I have to brutally switch off my lap-top, start agaiu. Restart Firefox which wants to open all the old tabs, click it off quickly. After that I can reopen to normal.
You get that problem if you select the Firefox program to handle a file if you get an "open with" dialog.

Which is the lie, the first page or the second web page?
The details are that my first time user impression is that Firefox is a liar, or that the web page is developed by liars; or that the program doesn't function well as it said that my Firefox was out of date, but the link to fix the problem said that is was up to date. So, the only purpose of the statement that it was out of date was to get me to register, and that the company doesn't care what I think about it. I am totally open to another logical explanation. I mean you could give me an illogical explanation based on emotion but I'll just reject it and then uninstall Firefox because, well, that should be obvious. yahoo is home page. yahoo music worked with firefox till I upgraded to firefox 4. Works with ie and just tried chrome. Screen comes up, video doesn't play, just grey in video screen. Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
If it fails regardless, you can try changing the user agent like this:

2. pressing tab to change data entry cell in a web page
