When opening the App Store a pop up window comes up and will not let me close it even when I touch outside the window
Close apps
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen

Icould backup popped up on screen and will not let me exit out of it to use my ipad
An icon popped up on my screen about my ipad not being backed up in two weeks. The "ok" button will not work and the icon will not go away. I can't unlock or turn off my ipad and i tried plugging it into my computer but that didnt help either.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

i have connected it to itunes like i was told to do and it wont do anything because its locked with a passcode and its frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter myt passcode and after a while it just shuts off, it has been doing this for almost 48 hours. I was told to hold the home button and power button to shut it down and that I could then restart it and it would work... Nothing has helped, What can I try???
Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that does not resolve, restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If all else fails, take the device to Apple (or whomever provides support in your country) for evaluation and possible replacement. -
My ipad screens apple picture keeps blinking and will not open
my ipad screens apple picture keeps blinking and will not open. I have tried pressing both top and bottom button together, pressing just the top, etc. and nothing...it just keeps blinking the apple?
Hello llp03,
Thanks for the question, that definitely sounds frustrating. The following troubleshooting assistant provides steps that may lead to a resolution:
Apple - Support - iPad - iPad Troubleshooting Assistant
http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/ipad/
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes
- Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
- If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
- If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode.

iPhone 4s will not turn on, a screen shows up telling me to connect to iTunes to restore and update to iOs7, but when I try to restore error 2001 comes up and will not let me restore. I still cannot turn my phone on. None of the troubleshooting tips work, help??
Error 20, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 34, 36, 37, 40
These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process.
FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue.
In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -
My MacBook Pro 15in mid 2010 4gb 1067, 2.4gighertz i5, os 10.9.5 has locked up the calendar screen displays "The server responded with an error" and will not let me exit the msg or the screen I can use the rest of the computer. I tried your suggestion but it did not work (hold shift down when re-launching calendar). Here is the message I keep getting. Help - this endless loop prohibits me from accessing any calendar functions.

The screen is black, vibrates and will not let me off
the screen is black, vibrates and will not let me off
First try reseting your phone by holding down the home and lock buttons for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't fix your problem take it into an Apple Store to have it serviced.

iPad 2 will not accept Apple id and will not let me do anything on it. It just keeps popping up on my screen
Don't know how it happens. Have you signed in successfully with your Apple ID in App Store or iCloud? Is your iPad connected to network?
You should make sure that your iPad is connected to a stable network. And then you should type in the correct Apple ID password. -
I am in an endless loop on my other iMac computer. I happened upon a page where it said "phishing site ahead" and then a pop up comes on screen telling me to call a certain number and then I click okay and of course do not call and it will not let me out of this endless loop. Shut down computer, quit Safari, but when I reopen Safari it still takes me to that same page and will not let me out or use any menu items or toolbar items. Just the same little popup box telling me to call a certain number with an OK button and I can't go anywhere or do anything on Safari. What can I do?
Also I copied this from my other computer web page:
Reported Phishing website ahead. Your network ha been monitored. Your network has been compromised due to Browser hijacking. The browser hijacking software may redirect you towards phishing websites that try to access your Login Password details. To fix this browser redirection issue we recommend you ask for instant help. Help Line 1 877 899 1824.
Then another smaller popup window pops up
http://www.pcassists.info
Security Error
Call Helpline 1877 899 1824
So this is what I was talking about, and the small popup window plus the larger Window stating "Reported Phishing website ahead" will not go away and I cannot use Safari anymore even after I shut down my computer, disconnected it, and then signed on again and reopened Safari, it still takes me to that page and I cannot get out of it.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! -
I channged my Appleid at appleid.com and now the phone stills shows my old id and will not let apps that require id/password prompts work.
Just scroll to the bottom of the screen in the store, log out and then login with the new ID.
As long as you changed it from the manage account option at https://appleid.apple.com/ (ie. replaced the primary email address with a new one), then all your old purchases should be fine.
