My wife and I were sharing the same iCloud account. we now have separate iCloud accounts, I've switched over iCloud, FaceTime, iMessage, but I can still see her old iCloud Tabs that were in her iPhone before we switched iCloud accounts. How can i fix this
I have also turned off iCloud on my iMac, donme complete resets with clean fresh restores on my iPhone and iPad but her old iCloud tabs are still there?

Yes, but if you want these devices to have complete capability of calling each other they each must have their own separate, individual e mail address. If they don't have individual e mail addresses, the i phones will be able to call each other because you'll be using their individual phone numbers -- the Mac mini will be able to call the i phones, but, the iphones will not be able to call the Mac mini. This is because the iphones will be using the mini's e- mail address to make the call, and if they have the same e mail address, they will think they are calling themselves, so the call will not connect.
So, the way I see it is, if you keep all of the email addresses the same, the only thing you'll loose is the ability of the iphones to call the mini.
EDIT: Thinking about it, my first sentence needs to be modified. Your iphones can share an email address but it must be different from the Mac mini address.
This isn't rocket science, but it can make your head spin. LOL -
My wife and I are using the same apple ID. Up until last week we used to buy an app and pay for it only once, but use it on both devices.
since last week, the app store asks me to pay again for an app i already paid for on one device. On both devices automatic downloads (in settings) is and was always turned off.
what can I do to fix this?Actually no. After installing an app on one device, I used to see an "install" button on the second device (since it's already been paid for). Now i get the full price button on the second device. I didn't want to proceed with the purchase because i didn't want to be billed twice.

When I create a text message from my contact on my iphone 5, the contacts mobile number appears and not there name. But when they respond to my text, is shows up as a new text message with there name. How do I fix this?
Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears. -
I have now downloaded all of my CD's to my itunes library and have since only purchased new music using itunes Store. This itunes library is stored on an old Dell Desktop that I am getting ready to replace with an iMac; how can I move the music? 86GB

When I upload photos to iPhoto from my iPhone and then press delete from iPhone it does not delete them, how do I fix this?
I am having the same problems as this person. I see that someone said there is no way to retrieve the pictures once it gets stuck in recovery mode.
Then further along someone said that there are data retrieval methods except they have something to do with jail breaking a phone.
My phone is already jail broken. It was kind of a gift from the company I work for- it was a fellow employees before. He jail broke it and then it was given to me. After I got it I activated the 4 and tried to back up everything. It didn't work and "Springboard" forced the phone into safety mode. So I could use it with the old dude's apps and my contacts. I made the mistake of using the phone for wedding dress shopping with a friend. I took tons of pictures.
After this I found out the messages I was seeing meant it was jail broken. At&t said to force restore the phone - iTunes wouldn't recognize it in safety mode. I'm an idiot and didn't realize what this meant for my pictures. It didn't work (error 1611) - thankfully. Now it is stuck in recovery mode (iTunes icon and USB cable picture).
Can I access that media in any way? It never suceeded restoring itself so is it still there? The phone is jail broken already so is there a method I can use? -
I got a new apple iD so when i try to update my apps it wont change the last one that i had so i cant update my apps. How do i fix this?
- Go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -
I have like five GB's of ghost data (data the device claims is not there but it is still taking up space) on my I pad 2 from a failed movie download attempt. How do I fix that with out resting my iPad? I have only 1GB left of storage
The movie had gotten to the point that I could watch it all the way through but it still said processing and got stuck at that point and when I turned off the wifi to try to restart it, it deleted its-self but did not free up any of the storage It was taking up

Some thing similar also happened to my old laptop when trying to download the iOS 5 update to my laptop when it came out. It kept getting disconnected and every time it would try to start over and act like what had already been downloaded was not there though it was still taking up the storage space.
And it continued repeating until it took up all of my storage space. The data file would not show up anywhere so I had to restore my laptop to the factory settings and that worked for awhile but I eventually had to get a new laptop.Did you try to set it up as new device, as explained in this article?

After updating my OS, I couldn't get onto my gamecenter account. I created a new nickname to see what would happen. Now I can only access my new nickname, but not my old one. However, my old account has all my scores! I want to delete the new nickname and re-access my old (i.e., original) nickname. Interestingly, my friends can still see my old nickname.

Itunes will only download 2KB of a podcast that should be +20MB. Then calls it complete. How do I fix this problem.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

I keep getting "The old version of Bonjour cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group" How do I fix this?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another install. Does it go through properly this time? -

If you are talking about Game Center, she can migrate to a different iCloud account and keep her Game Center ID the same (it doesn't need to be the same as her iCloud ID.
To migrate her iPad to a separate iCloud account, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep to her camera roll (unless already there) by opening her my photo stream album, tapping Select (Edit in iOS 6), tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward pointing arrow (Share in iOS 6), then tap Save to Camera Roll. If she is syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to her so she can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in her new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect your iPad), choose Keep on My iPad and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7). Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create her new account and choose Merge to upload her data to the new account.
Once she is on a separate account, you can each go to icloud.com from your computer and delete the other person's data from your account.
To avoid getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls, make sure you are not sharing the same Apple ID for these services. If you are, on her iPad go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID (such as her new iCloud ID). -
WIFI AND 4G on at the same time
I received a software update yesterday and after it started show my WiFi connection and 4GLTE symbols at the same time. Does this mean they are both running eating up my data plan? and it seems they both are transferring data at the same time according to the green/orange arrows. It this a bug or part of the upgrade?
thanks for the suggestion on Caller id. now my note 3 has decided to not handle email.... freezes and gets really really hot to touch... called TS they advised me to swap phone ASAP and not to use it until I do.... might be a safety issue.... happy days.... sometimes technology sucks......LOL... heads up if your phone freezes gets real hot..... internal issue no fix return!!!!!!!
