My wife has no use of her hands and virtually no voice, she can turn on her iPhone 3G with a Bluetooth device that has a large button connected to it that she can touch with her arm to turn on the phone ready to redial the last number typed in......however she cannot activate the "Swipe to Unlock" feature? Is there an App or any way I can get rid of the Swipe to Unlock button or replace it with a Large Button she can hit, we have tried the Security code method with no sucess.
Any suggestions from the experts out there very welcome. ( There's an app called Nose Dial with two large buttons in the German iTunes store but I cannot get it easily from Canada) Dave

It sounds like you are getting prompted to back up your device but you are unable to join your updated Wi-Fi setup. I recommend the troubleshooting from this article named:

I have Mac itunes and a touch 2G. My wife has Win7 and touch 4G (both iOS 4.2.1). She got a new iphone, I now have her touch 4G, and am trying to sync it to my Mac itunes. The music and videos sync to the 4G, but apps & podcast will not. All are checked to sync. During sync, it gets to "determining apps to sync" then immediately goes to "finished syncing". No apps or podcasts from my Mac itunes are on the touch 4G.
You can only sync to one iTunes library but you can manage music and videos among different computer/libraries.
It appears that you are trying to sync with a different library.
- If you want to make the Mac you syncing computer:
--- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by:

--- Restore the iPod from that backup. Note that synced media like apps and music are not in included in the backup. -

A reset has nothing to do with Internet access or data access.
A reset is simply pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.

my wife has heaps of little apps on her ipad, should w=she save them to an external hard drive like she does her word documents etc??
Format the external drive for your PC. Connect it to her computer after that but do not format it. It will appear on her desktop if you have selected that in preferences. Use Finder and drag the files you want to copy from her computer to the icon for the external drive.

Is there any way to get it to not disconnect everytime? I have resorted to just leaving Network Diagnostics open and just rejoining the network every single time I wake the computer. Any help here?

but icloud refuses unless i use the tick***@whatever it is i dont want to use that it is her email address understand what i say.
You need her to sign out of your account using the button with sign out written on it.
Then sign in using her account details. If she doesn't have an account, use the create Apple ID link in the set up window. -
Have 3 family members with three accounts. Homesharing is supposed to be set up all computers with the same (one) account. Then, will the content ONLY of the set account be shared? or will ALL content of those who sync with those computers be shared?

As it stands iTunes cannot be accessed via ATV's and nor can it be streamed via AirPlay from iTunes to the ATV

If you're talking about the icon for the default Mail app that is part of iOS, it can't be deleted. She might have moved it somewhere, but the app can't be removed from the iOS device the way some third-party or optional Apple app can be removed.
Look carefully through all the home screens and folders. It's in there somewhere. If you really, really can't find it, try restarting the phone. If that doesn't work, perform a factory restore operation by connecting it to your computer running iTunes. -
Can you merge two user accounts on a macbook? my wife has created a new user on her new macbook air then, inadvertently, created a second one when using the migration tool. 1st a/c has her office 365 install, while 2nd has her itunes database, docs and contacts. What is the best way forward to get everything into the one account? Not sure if the office 365 will allow another installation into the second account, otherwise would just do that and delete the first, if that is possible?
There is no merge but you can move data from one account to another via the Shared folder. Data is copied from Shared. Watch your free space when copying. These are large files. Do one at a time if you are on a small drive. After making copy, delete from other users before you start next copy.
Office365 installs in the main Applications folder and is available for all users on the computer. Activation is tied to the drive not the User. -
I would like to move my purchases to my wife's computer and share our music.
My wife has all of our music on her computer. I would like to take advantage of all her hard work organizing her iTunes and create a playlist of music I wish to have on my iPhone. The hurdle I have it the tons of apps I have on my iPhone that I also wish to retain. Is this possible by either logging onto her computer separately under my name and utilize the music that way, or is it as simple as Authorizing iTunes on her computer and transferring my "purchases".

You would have to deactivate that software from your older machine first.
