My wifi connection is not working on my new iphone

Hi,
I go into my setting and I see my home wifi network and select it and I also see a check mark on my wifi network once I select it. But I dont see the unit switching from AT&T E to my wifi network. I am not sure what needs to be done to switch to my wifi network.
Am I missing a setup or something. Please share what you find in this regard....

Well to start your iPhone 4S does not have 4G... it just shows 4G at the top of the screen..
Try turning SIRI off and on.. if that does not work
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings..
Because SIRI is a network connection to a server nothing more.. it is not on your device so nothing is wrong with your phone..
Also SIRI is in BETA... and not 100%

Ios 7 wifi connected but not working

my iphone 5s running ios 7 is connected to my home wifi but its not working, but my pc is doing fine on that wifi. and when i try connecting my iphone to other wifi it seems to work without any problem. i've reseted network settings many times and reseted all settings once but it wouldnt work for me. so whats the problem and how can i fix this?

Try power cycling your router. Remove the router from power for about 30 seconds and then start it back up again. After it is finished configuring, try connecting your device again.

Yet Another WIFI issue
When I try 'wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -c <(wpa_passphrase "mylongssid" "mylongkey")'
I receive this error:
Successfully initialized wpa_supplicant
wlan0: Failed to initialize driver interface
I was on my wifi at home this morning surfing the web and then I went to school (So I hopped to a different WIFI in other words)
It seems no matter what I do with netctl, iw, wifi-menu, and ip link that nothing works. Currently I do know how to set wlan0 up/down, restart my netctl profiles, display iw stuff, scan with iw, etc.
But I do not seem to know enough. Can anybody help by providing some debug commands?

My drivers worked fine this morning at my house, and they usually work at school after a reboot. So I am not sure why you need driver info. My question was what debug commands can help me diagnose my wpa_supplicant error? As in what log files can I check? If I could find a log with a more descriptive error, I might be able to fix my WIFI. Or possibly some logs for netctl? I really do not know, since networking is usually magic in all the easier linuxes I have used in the past.
Thanks for the really quick responses by the way I have never had such a fast help response for any other distro.
Edit: I should note that both my home and school networks have the same type of WPA security.
Update: When I booted my labtop at home, I ran wifi-menu and voila my home network was working. I will try the WIFI at school again tomorrow and post another update after that.
Update 2: Running wifi-menu at school worked today. I have no clue why it did not work yesterday. (I really should setup netctl-auto)

The voice recognition software ("Siri") seems buggy. I've been shutting down the phone and restarting. The VR then seems to work for a week or two and then it starts having the same problem you described. Another reboot brings back the VR. I really hope Apple has noted the problem and fixes it for the next iOS update.

Camera's not working on my new iPhone 4. What should I do?

So I finally got my new iPhone 4(Unlocked) from the UK yesterday. Unfortunately, it's not available in my country yet. Anyways, the phone's camera was working fine yesterday. But for some reason, the camera isn't working anymore. The virtual shutter on the camera application doesn't open. I tried restoring the phone using iTunes a couple of times, but the camera still doesn't work. And I don't think that rebooting the phone would help either. I don't think that it's a problem with the software. Maybe something is wrong with the "magical and revolutionary" back-illuminated camera sensor.
If Apple replaces my phone, how long will they take? I'm thinking of sending it back to the UK.

App store is not working on my new iphone

I bought a new Iphone 4S from Bestbuy. All the functions work except when I go to the app store and purchase an app, a gray screen appears. On the upper left corner besides 3 G there is an asterix like to processor is thinking. This takes forever and eventually I close this app store out of furstration. This never happened when I used the Android system. I am trying to switch from an Android user to an Apple user but this in ability to use the app store is very discouraging for a newbie. Some one please help me. I left a message with the Apple support but there has been no response.

If the phone has none of your information or data (music, photos, etc) then restore it as new. On the phone, go to Settings > General > Reset. Select Erase All Content and Settings.
You can then set it up as new.

Calendar: Remember-Function not working on my new iPhone 4S.

Hi! I got a new iPhone. I had a iPhone 3 before. The Setup of the 4S was no problem. So I also have my calendar stuff imported with remember-time... but the new phone doesn't remember me... has anybody an idea how to reactivate that?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

HT1430 Mic not working on BRAND NEW iphone 4 - pathetic!

First time out of the box, and the mic on my brand new iPhone4 ordered from Apple doesn't work! Not for calls, not for Voice Memos, nothing!
Presumably a hardware issue, so I guess it will be going back unless anyone has any ideas of what might be wrong?

Maybe hardware, maybe not... did you restore a backup of an older phone to the new one?
If so, try setting it up as a new phone and see if the problem persists. It may be corruption in the backup used to set it up.
