Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Why my ipad 4th gen doesnt update apps using wifi connection instead works on 3G?
MY ipad 4th gen is updating apps only using 3g connection whereas my wifi is working fine with chrome and other softwares, but it doesnt update softwares using wifi connection whic. Is unlimited data for me.
The WiFi only iPad does not have a GPS chip and does location through WiFi routers. Tethering to your iPhone will allow you to use the GPS chip on it and utilize Apple and Google Maps.

Now I bought Netgear, and it shows strongly better than the f.... D Link...

Settings>>WiFi, and then turn off Ask for Conection;

Settings>>Privacity, be sure the Location Service is turn on;

In Settings>>General>>Reset, select "Reset all Adjusts". (Sorry, but it will change some personal adjustments, but will not delete anything at all) -
I have 2 Airport Base stations that I am trying to use to extend my WiFi but I cant get them to work. I downloade Airport Utility to windows 7 and it doesnt recognize any devices. I have them plugged in and they have a solid yellow light. Does anyone know what I need to do to get them to work. Your help would be appreciated.

I would recommend that you start by performing a "factory default" reset on all of your AirPort base stations. Once completed power them all down. While powered-down, temporarily connect both Express base stations to an open LAN port on the Extreme using separate Ethernet cables.
Once connected, power up the Extreme; wait five minutes, and then, power up each of the Express base stations. Which you power-up first doesn't matter.
Now start up the AirPort Utility on the PC. It should now "see" all three base stations. If so, go ahead and configure your extended network.

If those do not help, your iPhone may well need service. You will not be able to get a Canadian iPhone serviced by Apple in the Philippines. You will need to send the iPhone back to your boyfriend or someone else in Canada who can get it serviced there and then send it back to you.

imessaging on ipod touch doesnt work after iOs 6 update, can't send or recieve messages. it isnt the wifi since everything else is working. have tried every solution possible. help?!
Short of a reset to factory settings I've found making sure iMessaging is not left minimised helps. It doesn't seem to keep its connection. So, by closing after each use this helps. I've been doing this since I logged out of iMessaging at least 1/2 doz times and even changed my apple id pw as this had ceased to be recognised. I get fewer send failures now and don't have an inactive send button so much. Having said this its all a bit of a work around as iMessaging isn't behaving as it once did. If over time not resolved will do factory reset. All the best.

Time capsule doesnt work with telia bredband no wifi. Time capsule and its wifi worked in the beginning, but now it doesnt. I have tried everything without success.
There is no question.. so if it is a statement of resignation.. then if under warranty and faulty Apple will fix it/replace it.. if not dead you will be given it back.
Are you using Lion? If so did you download 5.6 airport utility?
Plug the TC into a computer by ethernet.. hold in reset for 10sec.. and then redo the setup.
Give TC and wireless short names and no spaces and no special characters.. lock the wireless to manual a/n-b/g and fix the channels.
Then if it doesn't work most likely faulty. Otherwise it is just setup is wrong. -

Sleep/Wake button won't lock or unlock iPhone
To lock the phone, press the Sleep/Wake button. Note: By default, if you don't touch the screen for a minute, iPhone locks automatically.
To unlock iPhone, press the Home button or the Sleep/Wake button, then slide the slider.
If either of the above steps don't work, try turning iPhone off and then on again.
If the iPhone will not power off, reset it.
Try to lock or unlock the phone.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium. I use the latest Thunderbird version to access my Hotmail and Gmail accounts. I use it at home with a cable, or with wifi. I use it at work with a cable, or wifi. I have no problems in either location.
When I go to the public library I use their free wifi. There is no password, you just go to their website and accept their terms and conditions, then they open internet access. Thunderbird starts up but won't send or receieve emails while I'm there, the connections time out. I can use Firefox and go to the Hotmail and Gmail sites on the web, and work from there without any problems. I suspect there is some Thunderbird setting that prevents Thunderbird from working, maybe because it considers this a vulnerable network. If so, how can I override that setting?
Note that the Calendar I have running in Thunderbird still syncs with my Google Calendar.

I've seen all the posts for fixing the wifi on the 4s, none of them work! So, who can tell me why my iPhone 4S cannot find any wifi when it used to find wifi, and when it does find a wifi network it can never connect? You think apple would have a clue how to fix it! Because turning the wifi on and off doesn't work, resorting network settings doesn't work, even restoring phone to factory default doesn't work...
Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

Could you please help me quick, my iPad is restricting me from something.
I tried to go on YouTube many times on my favorite videos list and I get a message saying: you don't have permission to access the requested resource. I go to settings to see if anybody restricted me from YouTube and nobody did. I went to my friend's house and they have wifi. My iPad worked perfectly in YouTube. I went back to use my dad's iPad and after I watched some videos for a while, his stopped working on YouTube too. After then, I went back to my mom's house and the same thing happened. TO BOTH MY IPAD AND MY DAD'S! Is there something wrong with them? Please reply soon! :)I have the same issue. When I select a video from my favorites list (this is in the YouTube app—not through the Safari browser), I get the error message "You do not have permission to access the requested resource." My sister has said she has gotten the same message on her iPhone 3GS.
The work around is to kill the YouTube process (double press the home key to bring up the recent apps list, press and hold on the YouTube icon until the red minus sign appears, then tap on the minus sign). When you restart YouTube, it works.
However, invariably, the next day, when I try again, I get the same message, and have to kill YouTube again.
