My wifi has never worked

Hi, so for some reason, my wifi refuses to connect to the server. It's a brand new phone. My router is working correctly, as I can access the net on my computer. I try to load a page, and an applet pops up saying "page cannot be found. cannot connect to server".
This happens no matter what network I choose. Help?

This usually has to do with the security on the wireless router.
A couple of things to try.
If you know how to get into the settings on the router, as a test, try turning security off. Then try connecting with the iphone to see if the issue persists. If the issue does not persist then you know that the security settings on the router need to be changed.
Also, if you have a local hotspot, you can take the iphone there and try to connect. If the portal intro page comes up you made a successful connection and the iphone is working ok.
If you change the security settings on the wireless router, here are a couple of tips.
If you use wep 128 bit encryption, use a 13 char password.
if you use wpa 2 encryption, use an 8 char password.

Seems unlikely you have had two faulty replacements, and more likely that there may be some network compatibility issue or problem with reception in the location the AppleTV lies - anything close to it that might be interfering?
I am assuming you are connected via wifi - if you can try an ethernet connection to rule wifi issues out.
Could you try it at somone else's house maybe? If it worked there it would point to something specific at your location.
You could try replacing it again I guess or seeing if they can offer you credit or a refund.

Network Extender has never worked

We received a network extender from Verizon due to the lack of coverage in the area we live - too far from a tower.
I have tried every weekend to get this thing going and I always get a solid blue power light, solid blue wan light a SLOW BLINKING RED SYSTEM LIGHT and a solid magenta GPS light.
I tried calling Verizon for support but the tech rep didn't know what to do and was trying to read through the manual, I think and the call dropped after about an hour (back to the lack of coverage issue). I was so tired of not getting anywhere that I just let it go for the evening.
Bottom line is - this thing has never worked. All I can find is that a slow red blinking light is there is an abnormal condition.
Is there any further troubleshooting I can do or do I just need to see if Verizon can send me another one?

Update - now I have a solid red GPS light & the slow blinking red SYS light. Will let it sit for an hour (as the sticker on the side suggests) and see if there's any difference

If you mean AppleCare, then I would believe the answer will be yes.
First make sure you have a full backup of everything on your Mac, then run, don't walk to your nearest Apple store.
Note: Due to your Mac now being in computer years, somewhat elderly, Apple may not have the require parts in stock. This will either mean you might have to leave it with them for a number of days, or maybe they will offer you a new Mac mini. While a new Mac mini (if offered) might be a welcome possibility be aware that the new Mac mini no longer has a CD/DVD drive and it comes with Mac OS X Lion and as a result might not run some of your old software.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Online number has never worked

I have just had a reminder that my online number is about to expire, but it has never worked. When I dial it, it connects for a nano-second, and then immediately I get the disconnected beeps.
I wondered if it was my phone supplie preventing the number being used? (They don't weant me to circumnavigate their service?).

Keyboard shortcut for Copies has never worked in print dialog

I don't know if this is the right place to report a bug, but it has always irritated me that the keyboard shortcut ALT-C to move the focus to the Copies field has never worked in the Adobe Reader print dialog. It should work as the underscore exists in "Copies:" I use the shortcut all the time in Office whenever i want to print more than one copy. It would be nice if this would work in Adobe Reader also. Photoshop Elements 12 installed on my PC has never worked.

My Photoshop Elements 12, which I installed as an upgrade to Photoshop Elements 11 on my PC running under Windows 8.1 has never worked. In cannot find a catalog. My Elements 11 worked fine under Windows 7 and still works fine after I upgraded to Windows 8.1. I have spent hours on the phone with Adobe techs and have had my local PC professionals examine the PC. They both concluded it is a bug in Windows 8 but if so I do not know to proceed. Help would be most appreciated.

IPhone 5 won't start or charge or turn on and was not dropped recently and the power button has never worked

My iPhone 5 was not dropped recently however I went to use it and the screen was black, I plugged it in and nothing happened. When you call it it goes right to voicemail. The power button on it has never worked it always turns on when plugged in... Any ideas?

Are you certain that the battery has not run out? Have you kept it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes to see if it is just needing to be charged?
If it does not come on after being plugged in for 30 minutes or so, then without a functional Power button you cannot reset it, so you are going to have to try to put it into Recovery mode and restore it:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
You may not even be able to do this since you cannot proactively turn it off, but you can try.

I bought a MacBook Pro in September 2011 and it has never worked well.

I bought a MacBook Pro in September, 2011 and it has never worked well. Are there known issues with this machine? It just stops responding, usually for 3 minutes (especially when I'm working in iPhoto or Contacts). I regret buying this machine. I wish I could just go back to my previous MacBook Pro. Any chance Apple will just exchange this for me without it costing me my other arm & leg?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Ipad mini headset has never worked.

I have a brand new ipad mini less than 2 months old... Plugged in my headset and wont work and has never worked. The ipad mini has been in an otterbox since day 1 and yet customer service is giving a run around instead of investigating the issue. How can you look at the ipad mini and say I see a scratch on the outside so it has physical damage?

Headset with Mic has never worked (the mic)

I have an iphone 3G with the most currently released software updates. I just realized the headphones that came with the phone were also a headset. They have never worked. I see a lot of posts where they "quit" working after an update. I have tried to plug/unplug the mini jack/etc. Nothing seems to work. The clicker does not answer calls/etc. I can hear through the headphones, just no response from the mic.
Any suggestions? Is this a software thing, or switch that needs to be enabled?
