My WiFi is connected but I can't get connected to internet on my Ipad

My Wifi is connected but I can't get connected to the internet on my Ipad.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

My PC can browse, just my mac keeps saying can't find DNS address. I called my service provider too, they re-configured the network for me, everything else works, just my mac still can't get online. The airport bar is full, I'm getting good signal. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Many free wi-fi hotspots require that you register first - agreeing to their terms and conditions, etc. This is usually provided via a web page with Safari provided immediately after connecting. If the register page is provided via Flash, you won't see it and you won't be able to register.

Despite the WiFi sign at the top you may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. To check on this go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix for this can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If this problem continues you should test your iPod on some other networks. Since you say your iPod was "working fine" either it or your router may have developed a hardware problem. If the iPod works OK on other networks your router may have a problem.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Phone and messages is a carrier issue. Sprint needs to check your account to make sure it is set up correctly. If everything looks good on their end, then do a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, try it.

You have not installed the Boot Camp drivers.
Start up in OS X and download the Windows support software from this site > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1638 Follow the steps of the link except the ones to install Windows.

Would you please provide some more information about your current network so that we can help you? For example, is your AirPort Express the only router in your current network configuration? That is, is it connected directly to a broadband modem or to another router upstream of it? Regardless, what is the make & model of this modem?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router

You could use an iPhone as a personal hotspot for the iPad or get a mifi device and use that as a mobile hotspot - you can't plug a USB dongle into the iPad, it won't be recognised.

I have a little yellow exclamation mark now on my icon nearly ever time I switch in the laptop and after much toing and froing, the only thing that seems to get me back up and running is to switch the power off at the mains socket and wait and age for all the icons to turn blue again. Not what I call quick! Only had Infinity for a couple of weeks and of course I got online immediately when the engineer was here!! My old hub pre-Infinity worked consistently the whole time I had it. AND I have not noticed it is any faster. Should have left well alone. AND I contacted BT and received an auto email back over a week ago and nothing since. I even asked for my old hub back! Anyone else having this? Is it the hub or the modem? I didn't have a modem with the last hub? Sorry rant over!

Ethernet is connected but I can not get internet

I just moved into a new apartment and my internet connect is through an Ethernet cord. I can not reboot or restart the connection becuase it is through my entire building. When I plug the Ethernet into my MacBook Pro is says it is connected however when I open Safari or Chrome it has no connection. My IP address starts with 169 and my Mask is 255. I have restarted the computer many times and have gone through the "Assist Me.." or "Diagnostics" within Networks however each one requires that I reboot the router. Seeing that I dont even know where the router is, I can not do this action. Can someone please help with this? I have also reset PRAM and looked at other threads that say delete "com.apple.afl", however in my preferences there is no "com.apple.afl". The ethernet is currently working on an HP desktop and I have made sure the broadban connection has been set to "share with other devices". I feel Im running out of options. PLEASE HELP!
