My Wifi will not work: ipod

My wifi says it is connected on my ipod and works on my computer but whenever I get on the internet or an app that needs wifi it will not work. I have tried everything and it will not even work when on a different wireless router. Any idea whats wrong? Please help

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?

- Power off and then back on the router

- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have an ipad 1 16gb, wifi and the wifi will not work. Under settings, it says "no wifi". Has anyone else had this problem?

If you are positive there is a good Wi-Fi signal in the area of the iPad I would first reboot your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't work, I would turn off your iPad and then restart your Wi-Fi router. Unplug the router for 30 seconds then plug it back in. Once the router had completed its restart process and established a link to the Internet then turn your iPad on. Make sure Settings > Wi-Fi> On.

After install of ios7 on ipad mini wifi will not work

I have installed ios7 on my mini. After doin so WiFi will not work. Button is greyed out. When I try to erase all content and go back to factory it wants my password and won't do so because it says no internet connection. Had I know this was going to happen I would have left well enough alone. I have tried hard resetting by holding home and off button simultaneously but not working. Anyone have any ideas? This mini is now basically useless to me without internet. I'm really annoyed.

Most of your purchases content can be downloaded again via the Purchased tabs in each of the store. I realize that this will be a problem for the iTunes Store on the iPad, but that has nothing to do with apps, since apps are in the App Store.
If you backed up synced with iTunes before you restored the iPad, your content should be in iTunes on your Mac and you should be able to sync it back again.

My ipod touch 4th generation has always worked fine, but recently it has said it was connected to the wifi at my house that is password protected so its only used by family but would not allow any connections, no messages would get through to me and i couldnt send any without getting an error, and all of my games that require wifi would not connect. normally i would plug it into my computer and sync it and the problem was resolved, but it started doing it more often and more often. but this last time it didnt work and when i got online to check even my computer could not access the internet. im wondering if this is some issue with the ipod, the modem, or both. i have a freind who also experiances issues with her modem suddenly not working for a random period of time then working again after a bit that we could never figure out, but in this issue it says its connected but wont work.

If it continues to malfunction after a restore, it's probably bad hardware.
I'd recommend making a Genius Bar appointment. They'll probably give you a couple options: Replace it with an identical model for a discounted price, or trade it in for recycling and get 10% off a new iPod.

Wifi will not work

I bought my Backberry Curve 8520 in July 2011 and it worked perfectly when I was living in Ireland. But, I moved to Italy in August and Vodafone unlocked my phone in September so I could support an Italian Sim.
But since then I can not connect to my home wifi and when I top up it drains all my money. I keep getting messages about support plan when I use twitter and I can no longer access my emails nor the browser. When I click on browser the Blackberry icon appears and doesn't even load. Even my BBM does not work on it!
Does anyone have any suggestions which may help me to connect to the internet?
When I click on "Manage Connections" there is the regular blue tick next to my Mobile Network and W-Fi but there is no green tick to the right of Wi-Fi!

Wifi will not work on iPod 5th Generation

I have had my iPod 5th generation since early September of last year. It was been working smoothly up until today. The wifi is on and it is recognizing networks but when I attempt to join it either says 'Unable to connect to network' or I put in the password to the wifi network and it immediately asks me to re-enter the password. I have restarted my wireless router, restarted my iPod, reset my network settings on the iPod and it is still doing the same thing. I have not jail broke this iPod ever and it is up to date using iOS 8.1.3 which I installed three days ago. The wifi was working fine immediately after the update which makes me unsure if that is what caused this. Does anyone know how I might fix this.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Office Jet 6500 E710n-z WIFI will not work on any devices-please help

for some reason, my printer's WIFI quit working. I have downloaded all of the HP assistance stuff and install all of the software correctly to my laptop.
When I print the network configuration page from the HP printer, it says active connection type- "wireless" and it says status "ready." It passes all of the tests for confirmation and I have reset it to factory settings and started over with the wireless connection wizard. No matter what I do, my printer won't print from my laptop or my iphone wirelessly. All the devices, such a phones, will detrect the wifi printer but it just will say "error" when printing.
Could this be my wireless router setting? Should I contact my internet provider and see if there is some secruity on the wifi.
The printer asks for my WAP passphrase- that's my wifi password, yes?
I don't know what else to do. It says it's connected to WIFI but nothing prints.
Also, I have tried to manually enter my printers URL/ISP so I know that's correct too.
Any other ideas- I've also shut down and restarting all d evices associated with it.

My wifi will not work after compurter sleeps

Wifi works great until computer goes to sleep. When I turn it back on, it can't connect. Right now I am restarting the computer everytime. Very annoying. This only started this week. It has worked well since Christmas. This is an imac bought on Dec. 23 of this year.

This is a know issue. The work around solution is only letting the display sleep, set the options in System Preferences - Energy Saver - Power. If you don't want to use the work around then simply cycle the Wi-Fi when you wake up the computer. You can do this by click the Wi-Fi symbol in the menu and then choose Turn Wi-Fi Off and then Turn Wi-Fi on.

If the battery was completely drained the iPad will not respond for some time after connecting it to the charger. Connect the iPad to the charger that came with it and plug that into a good wall outlet. Wait 30 minutes. Then reset the iPad.Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until it's battery shows fully charged. If the iPad still does not start Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. Be sure to back up your device before taking or sending it to Apple.
