My wish list isnt saving songs

Songs will not save to my wish list in itunes store and songs already in my wish list will not delete. When I click on a song again to put it in my wish list it says its already in there and cant be added again.

I have the same problem and have contacted apple support by email, still no resolution.  Was told to check it again in a few weeks. I have even purchased the music in my wish list and the wish list does not clear.

  • HT5649 Just downloaded iTunes Music to my PC, and have just made a "Wish List" of 40 songs.  How do I now purchase the music and download it to my computer?

Just downloaded iTunes Music to my PC, and have just made my first "Wish List" of 40 songs.  How do I now purchase the music and download it to my computer?  I can't find any radio buttons to purchase these songs and download them to the PC.

Let me restate my question, above.  I have just joined iTunes and have downloaded the iTunes software onto my Windows 7 laptop.  I have now used that iTunes software to find songs in iMusic, that I want to buy.  I have found the songs.  40 of them.  I put them into the "Wish List".  Now I suppose I have to purchase these 40 songs and download each of them onto my laptop, but there are no apparent buttons to make the purchase.  Nor can I find a button that will download all 40 of the songs on the "Wish List".  What am I missing here?  Thanks.  //Marko

  • Cannot add apps to iTunes Wish List for my ipod

When using iTunes on my Macbook, I cannot add apps (for ipod, ipad, etc. NOT for computer) to my Wish List.  When I try, a pop up error alert box says that "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed., to try again later."  The odd thing is that I can add music albums to my Wish List.  I am not trying to add previously bought apps, but new ones that I find that I might want later.  I used to be able to do this, but not as of recently.  I even updated my Itunes to see if that would help.  No effect.  Is it my wifi network,?  Any ideas of how to remedy this?

thanks.  I opened iTunes this morning and miraculously my wish list seems to be working.   i see one app i had added to be downloaded.  I am able to remove songs from wish list and add songs and preview all.
last i heard from the customer service person was that they referred the issue to a senior level support person.  this after i sent them several screen shots of my wish list and the error about unable to add to existing wish list because ittem was already there.
I have not heard from them that my issue is resolved.  I will give them a day or so to get back to me to confirm they fixed the problelm.
very strange.  at least they acknowledged the problem did indeed exist as they referred me to the online user forum for possible solutions.  I indicated the problem persisted as early as June 2010 and as late as Jan 2012. and I had upgraded to ver 10.5.3 as well as remove and re-install even AFTER they kept telling me they removed my wishlist.

  • Why is "add to wish list" option missing?

I prefer to use the Wish List to buy songs at once, but I'm encountering an issue where iTunes isn't giving me an option to add some songs to my Wish List. Some work and some don't, but I can't figure out why. Any thoughts?

Thank you iappod and lllaass for your suggestions! I did execute both to no avail.
Just by luck, I solved my own dilemma. While in the App Store, I obviously had only been trying to add "Free" or "Free+" apps to Wish List. Because when I came across an interesting "Paid" app, the Add to Wish List button was there as an option, after pressing the    button. Just to confirm this, I tested all three categories. At least on my iPod Touch 5, with latest update installed, I can only save paid apps for later consideration.
Thanks again for your time and help!
    Sincerely,

  • How do I add songs to my iTunes Store wish list on my iPod?

How do I add a song to my iTunes wish list on my iPod? I keep looking up songs/albums I want to buy on my iPod Touch, but I can never add them to a wish list because I can't find the right button to push. I know the button is next to the price on the OS X iTunes Store, but it's not there on the iOS iTunes Store. Help!!!

No idea what you are asking.
You want to sell your own music on the itunes store?

  • How can I play all the songs on an album in my wish list?

In a previous version of iOS, I could click on an album in my wish list, then click to preview all the songs in the album consecutively. I seem to have lost this option now.  I am using iOS8.

Hi there - don't know what is happening on your Touch as it does play albums in order - when you click on an album to play it, the very first option is shuffle - make sure you do not click on this - but click on the first track name.
If you have clicked on it once - it seems to stay on - to solve/check this - click on a song, and wait for the cover to come into view. On the top bar, on the right hand side while the song is playing - you will see the little shuffle icon (arrows crossing). If this is blue then shuffle is selected. Click on it to turn it off (white). Now go back to the album lists and all should be in order?
Let us know if this works.

  • Why cant i purchase my whole wish list....im being told i have to buy each song one at a time

i had the option in july to purchase the whole wish list, now im being told i cant

I have just had the same problem and have spent a good hour trying to figure out where the Purchase Wish List Button has gone. I had an online CHAT with one of the nice Support Desk staff - who didn't know the answer and had to get clarification from her Supervisor.
I couldn't believe it frankly when she told me that they had INTENTIONALLY removed that facility!! OMG! That's ridiculous.
I have likened it to going to a Supermarket and doing a monthly shop - putting all the items on a conveyor belt and then having to pay for every one individually. It's absurd.
I have written to the Feedback Desk and suggested strongly that they change this back asap or else they will lose me as a customer (not that seems much of a threat to a $multi billion company!)
I have also suggested that they take a leaf out of AMAZON's Book and have a proper Checkout facility where you can put individual items into a Basket and go to checkout - and once at checkout you can either purchase everything or remove some items by flagging them Save For Later. They remain in a sort of holding basket where you can quite simply have the option of putting them back into your Basket at a future date. Amazon also have a Wish List Facility which is separate to the Basket Checkout - so they are - it seems - far in advance of iTunes.
Perhaps you could write to the iTunes Feedback Team and suggest the same ? It seems that the more they get requests for certain features the more they listen.
I have advised them that I shall be buying my MP3 music files from Amazon if they don't improve the Checkout options. Suggesting that I buy 40+ songs individually is just plain ludicrous .... and I thought Apple were a leading technology ?!
Please add your comments to the Feedback so we as Customers can get them to see sense ..... and if anybody else is reading this because they've experienced the same problem as we have ..... please put your comments on the Feedback too.
I am refusing to purchase my 25songs and albums until they rectify it. Their loss more than mine.

  • I have entered my iTunes code, but am unable to use the amount on my card to purchase songs in my wish list

Because of a past experience with fraudulant charges with Apple, I wish now to pay for my downloads with an iTunes card.  I purchased one for $20, logged on to my account, entered the "redeem" code that was on the new card, and then went into the iTunes store and added songs to my wish list.  When I was finished, I pushed the "Buy All" button to purchases all the songs on my wish list, which totaled less than the amount shown on my account that I had downloaded from my iTunes card. But I found myself in this "loop" of needing to sign into my account (which I already was because it displayed my name) and then it would ask for the "redeem" code.  When I would once again enter that same code from the back of my iTunes card, it told me it was unable to use it because that code had already been redeemed.
Yes, I had loaded that into my account, and it still showed the full amount of the card value next to my name.  That did not change or show it being reduced by the amount I had wanted to purchase from my wish list, so I knew I still have that amount sitting in my "bank" waiting to be spent.
How do I access it, or better yet,  get out of this loop of log in/redeem/already redeemed mess.

Click on the "Start" button. Click "Run." Type the word "cmd" in the open box. When the DOS screen comes up, type "netsh winsock reset." Press "Enter." Type "exit" to close the DOS window and go back to Windows.
    Restart the computer.

  • HT204411 i am trying to purchase many songs at one time. i have added all songs to wish list , now to purchase it will only let me  do one at a time  please advise how i can purchase more than one at a time

i am trying to purchase many songs at one time. i have added all songs to wish list , now to purchase it will only let me  do one at a time  please advise how i can purchase more than one at a time

There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes so you will need to buy each item individually. You can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe it'll be added back in a future update : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

  • How do I purchase my entire wish list instead of one song at a time.

how do I purchase my wish list all at one time like I used to. Now it seems I have to purchase each song which is a step backward.

You don't think we've all done that?.............numerous times!
Ever since this change came out I sent feedback the very next day and several times since.
We've had iTunes updates since and Apple just doesn't seem to think it's a big deal.
Why would they get rid of it to begin with?
I don't purchase a can of beans, one bean at a time.

  • Why is my wish list not updating when I add songs through iTunes Radio?

    Wish list is not updating.

Count me in the same boat.  I'm an iTunes Match customer.  While listening to iTunes Radio I push the star and then choose to add to wish list except it never adds.  Doing the same function on my Mac works fine.
I found a note from Apple that stated you can only add "albums" to your wish list on iOS 7, not songs.  That then begs the question....why add functionality that is purposefully intended to add songs in your own UI????

  • How do I download all the songs in my wish list at the same time?

How do I download all the songs in my wish list at the same time?

    You don't.
    This option was removed.
Apple has not stated why it was removed.

  • What happened to all the songs in my Wish List?

I have not yet upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks, but I did download the latest iTunes upgrade prior to Yosemite. Now all but a few of the approximately 400 songs I had in my Wish List have been wiped out. Can anybody tell me what happened? Is there any way I can restore the Wish List?

Yep - Apple has screwed the wish lists up - when I sent a help message I got a stock reply  "I realize how concerned you must be, and I certainly understand the urgency in resolving this immediately. Apple is aware of the issue and currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available. Thank you for your patience. Apple wants your iTunes experience to be as enjoyable as possible.
No, Apple does not really want my experience to be enjoyable or it would have added useful, basic functions to iTunes over the years instead of stripping them away or ignoring the needs of people who have large music collections - turning the wish list into a sliding sideways scrolly thing is terrible design. If they keep dumbing it down as they are, soon the iTunes interface will just be a big red button that says "Listen to new Taylor Swift album" and sadly Apple is doing this with their OS as well - simplify, design it for use on a phone, and to **** with the desktop users who have more complicated needs.
